How to replace transmitter steering wheel to a rc drift rim
Using 1/10 Drift wheels to replace your stock transmitter steering wheel and adding bicycle handle tape on your grip.
Both radios are retail priced around $200 USD, sometime you want your transmitter to look a little different, by using the right value of mod that will not hurt your budget.
If you are a competitive racer or rock crawler, I would not suggest this steering mod unless you strengthen adaptor (styrene mod used in this video) that holding the drift rim.
MST drift rim cost around $10 USD for a set of 4 and the bicycle handlebar tape will cost you $3 usd for 2 rolls

What material have you used for the wheel-adapter?

I am using the stock wheel adaptor that come with the transmitter and add small cut pieces of styrene sheet, attaching it using shoe goo adhesive so i can easily removed, if i decided to return it to stock.

The flysky GT5 steering doesn’t not include a separate wheel adapter like the NB4 (like 1 min 31 sec of the video), GT5 integrated together (break disc and steering wheel), the alternative option getting the yeah racing set which include all components needed (no mod need), this are the models YA0625DB, YA0626SV, YA0716GM, YA0626RD are model direct compatible to flysky GT5.
