Today, I'm going to share the recipe of Mysore Style Kattu Saaru which is a prominent dish in everyday cooking in and around Mysore. This goes well with rice.
Ingredients:
1. 100 gms toor dal (Here, 1 cup = 100 gms)
2. Required salt
3. 3 cups water to boil toor dal
4. 2 pinches hing
5. Quarter tea spoon turmeric
6. Some curry leaves
7. 4 green chillies
8. 2 inches ginger
9. Half litre water to maintain consistency of saaru
10. 2 tea spoons oil
11. Half tea spoon cumin
12. One tea spoon mustard
13. One dry red chilli
