i used to think it was ridiculous how much grinding and cash shop usage was required to progress in BDO, but the more i play other games lately, the more i realize every game wants you to play it as a full time job OR pretty much invest money into it as if it were your business in order to reach their 'endgame' so it makes BDO so much more tolerable lol.
Bdo has insanely high prices and all but its the only mmo where the game is the journey, ur equipment gets outdated reaaaally slow and games like wow completely wipes ur progression each patch. thats the beauty of this game for me

it's amazing to think that 700GS costs around 340b today, even less when considering Jetina for some items like the PEN Narc. the proposed build isn't like, optimal, but it's not a joke either. Average around 3b daily and you have this, no problem. I think Choice has this challenge for sure!
Its crazy seeing him talk about spending any pearls on oets or loot scrolls, ive been playing for 2 months so far and the game has given me 2 t4 pets, 1 t3 pet, 2 t2 pets, and 7 t1 pets entirely for free, and i have over 200 loot scrolls accumulated as well... They really increased the free stuff even more. Oh and not to mention the ten free outfits ive accumulated as well.
Can someone clarify this to me - as i get new player won't be able to follow atleast on the loot scroll nad caphras chest from this "siege" vendor stuff since you somehow need a guild that will have this vendors and allow you to buy this from?

I'm currently 591. I find these videos amusing because I've been casually playing this game since it released and am only 591 while this guy hit 700 in 55 days. I'm such a slacker.
i paid for the game about 3 years ago, i had no pearls. it was a fishing event going on. Ancient relics were being sold for around 800k each. with my first 100 miljon silver, i bought ancient relics. Sold memory fragments for max price at 3 mil each. Bought more relics, made more scrolls. after 4 months (120 days) i managed to reach 370 biljon silver, i bought all my gear in tet items. I had no tent for 3 years in a row, i had 5 tier one pets. I started with narchilian gear, and i had only 2 valu packs of 30 days each, which i got for free from BDO. I did all this grind on my own. The only knowladge i gained from any other player was about the ancient relic scrolls. I still dont pay for BDO, i still have narchilian gear, and i just recently got a tent after a quest i made 2 months ago. I make around 700 mil per day, grinding just an hour a day and passiv income from nodes and farms. i play between 1-2 hours a day. Not even trying to follow the meta, and still outplay most players by simpley doing stuff that no one els seems to be doing.

I would like to ask how long it takes to get graduated as season character and how long it takes to get the pen set. Do you have a video guide for the season character? How long does it take to get to level 61? I haven't played in a very long time so my knowledge is outdated or mostly forgoten.

this is very obviously not a new player challenge. him getting into a pvp guild instantly with nodes is not realistic. this looks like a personal challenge for himself. also starting out on black friday gives him a huge advantage with the pearl shop
This type of condescending comment has no place here. He clearly stated what his plans are and how he plans to get his money. Any committed new player can easily find a T1 Guild willing to let them in just by being outgoing and having a good attitude & willingness to learn - there are plenty of veterans that are happy to teach and help others make gains in this game.
Only 30% of awak damage goes into your succession damage, not including brackets, so having the accuracy is more important than the AP. So yeah it's for the accuracy
@@AinGreg if you are a PVE focused player I would get a tet blackstar instead, but if you are PvP focused I would keep the trip c19 for a long time, until past 730 gear score
had to come check out the first episode after seeing the progression so far. but yea huge showcase or how much more accessible the game is in general that it was even 1 year ago. Played on and off for long tho and these changes just seem to be too little to late, and likely infuriating for people who sunk ungodly amounts of time and money in this game.

I would go for a pen dande to start, and awake players would have to splurge for a tet blackstar right around the time you hit 285 Kutum. It costs like 7b more than a trip dande c19 but helps with both PvP and PvE since it's an accuracy upgrade
Forgive my noobishness, but how does he get to 305 with that build? I have built the same thing on Garmoth, all caphras added, all journals checked and only get to 293Ap, where are the other 12AP coming from? What am I missing?
Hey Choice, shouldn't you take the PEN urugons from the magnus instead? Since your current boots are the equivalent of muskans and gloves are already DR, imo that would be the better way of doing it
You can convert your tuvala for jetina boss gear and pick Tet urugons and those will be good enough for a while, other armors give better stats from Tet to pen

And can I ask how would 700 gs gear look like for awakening class? I tried to replicate your build but I play Awa Lahn so I went for tet distos and tet Bs main hand and I was at 667 gs. Do you think it viable to do large scale pvp from this point?
Tet distos are a negative impact on gs compared to basic ap grar like tungrad earings and even more so vs narc earring. Going blackstar will limit your ap since you cant caphras either. Its not a bad thing to have those things though.
@@tomrafos for endgame lahns opting for dawns is better then distos, that being said, focus on getting ur bs mainhand, tri godr wake wep and 360 dp before u swap to distos
@@steve69man420ayylmao yeah, save and buy TET items is usually cheaper than have a boosted RNG enchanting, but do boss PEN items quests are priority saving time and money, and with full Tuvala PEN is doable. Save and buy is more efficient for TET and PEN accessories in my experience, I really have bad RNG in that case.

Plus content creation is his job so if he's grinding 10 hours a day, and you can only do a fraction of the grinding he does you can do the math. Really not a hard concept. Does that fact make the video series less useful? Play at your own pace, if it's 2 hours a day then it will take under a year to reach 700, and this series shows how to do it in a replicatable fashion

I addressed everything in this video where the money came from, seasonal dungeon, attendance for the month before starting the series (other than season pass completion and the season dungeon) and that's it. Fairy isn't a big deal cuz it doesn't actually provide me with silver. I would have been happy with any level of miraculous cheer. As for pets, basically no rng involved other than the one t4 I have, t3s are a 55% chance and I 100% chanced my first t4 that I turned into a t5. Even if you included my ramp up time from account creation (November 13th 2022 I think?) I did this series in 85 days and afked for the first 30 days of it, if that makes it seem more fair to you

I would say its investing in convenience... pay to win is like buying costumes to melt for V attempts or buying artisans to mindlessly tap gear.. anyone relevant in pvp/pve needs convenience items like tents, scrolls, etc otherwise you are griefing yourself

@battlehotdog getting into a snipe guild is not that. Most of them are populated with low gs players anyways

urus are not the most expensive piece
No urugons is the worst upgrade armor wise. Tet urus for a while will do just fine and they are dirty cheap

You can start making 500-700m/hr with that ap in sycr underwater. I started there with that ap on both EU/NA

Plus content creation is his job so if he's grinding 10 hours a day, and you can only do a fraction of the grinding he does you can do the math. Really not a hard concept. Obviously someone who plays more over 110 days will progress more than you will playing for half the time in 110 days lol.

Does that fact make the video series less useful? Play at your own pace, if it's 2 hours a day then it will take under a year to reach 700, and this series shows how to do it in a replicatable fashion
why not started the challenge without spending real money? Im a f2p myself, no real money spend with this game still enjoying it. :) Better yet, start a fresh account.

yeeeeeah I think I'm gonna pass on this "challenge".
I addressed everything in this video where the money came from, seasonal dungeon, attendance for the month before starting the series (other than season pass completion and the season dungeon) and that's it. Fairy isn't a big deal cuz it doesn't actually provide me with silver. I would have been happy with any level of miraculous cheer. As for pets, basically no rng involved other than the one t4 I have, t3s are a 55% chance and I 100% chanced my first t4 that I turned into a t5.
Even if you included my ramp up time from account creation (November 13th 2022 I think?) I did this series in 85 days and afked for the first 30 days of it, if that makes it seem more fair to you

I would say its investing in convenience... pay to win is like buying costumes to melt for V attempts or buying artisans to mindlessly tap gear.. anyone relevant in pvp/pve needs convenience items like tents, scrolls, etc otherwise you are griefing yourself
