- How To Zero Gap Andis Slimline Pro Li And Adjust Trimmer Blade For Sharper Line Up haircut. In this video, I'll teach you how to zero gap and adjust your Andis Slimline Pro Li Trimmer blade. A simple and easy adjustment can mean the difference between a perfect line up haircut and a bad experience from your barbershop, stylist, or salon. This adjustment will position your cutting blade to about three of four hair strands below your comb blade.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to adjust your Andis Slimline Pro li to zero gap with only a small, high-grade Philips screwdriver. Simply remove the screws holding the blade into place, loosen the screws holding the t-blade slightly, position the t-guide up higher to a zero-gap orientation by moving the cutting blade closer to the comb blade so you can get a closer cut, replace the screws, and then of course test the clipper on your arm to ensure the repositioning has been achieved properly and that you will not be nicking your clients.
Ideal for edging and clipping around the ears and neckline, trimming beards and mustaches, and lining up; the Andis Slimline Pro li clipper is a small; lightweight; cordless trimmer equipped with close-cutting, carbon-steel t-blades, and a powerful rotary motor.

Cheers Larry. I am just a punter, but with your help managed to zero this thing without killing myself. I needed a magnifier to see what I was doing, though. Looking forward to trimming my yeard with the Andis. Ray
Thank you! Got a brand new Slimline and adjusted it like you said, works perfectly
Very helpful video can’t wait to zero gap my liners. Thank you.
Ty I am going to try this out. I was going to get the corded trimmers again because these did not cut as close. I read you zero gap these on the back of the box and ur video was the recommended from my search. Very good and clean video.

Thank you Sir!
Great video! Helped me a lot thank you
Well presented without the jingles. Thank you.I have bought countless Wahl detailer and still not getting clear clean shaving. Can't use shaver or razor due to skin irritation. Hope this will do it for me when I buy one. Unless anyone can advise on a better one.
What kind of mat are you using for your tools?
Hi Larry please can you tell me where you got your apron please and also your blower thank you regards John Akins
Anybody got a problem after zero gapping the blade moving side to side and if anybody has a fix for it thank u in advance
Idk iwhy but the inside of my blade keep breaking the metal part the holds the blades together
Hey man, can you still use the guards if you zero gap it? I have mine even with the top, not slightly under, because i'm gonna be using it just on myself, but i'm not sure if it's gonna be a problem with the guards or not.
It won't be a problem it would just be a hair shorter
Please help me pro! When I adjust blade of andis slimline to zero guard, I can’t use it because It damaged skin.
If they are damaging the skin then you would need to bring the blade down a little bit, but you probably already figured it out by now.
How do u zero gap them tho?
Terrible cam positioning. I see 90% white wall, and 0.9% clipper. 🔍😓
ѕκΘя ! If you watch the video pass the intro you will see it differently
epic
What does mean to zero gap a hair machine?
Cuts closer to the skin. GIving it a sharper lineup
how to zero gap a ANDIS [ X EXPERIENCE ] clipper

Why isnt the camera close to what you're doing!!!????
Because I have cheap camera
Could not SEE what you were doing.
Videos was kind of pointless for us newbs. Get us a macro shot of how close the edges need to be
Out the box the blade looks like it's almost 0 gap though
Phresh Cuban yea these are one of the best ones compared to others even more expensive don't hit as well as these

Salandsarina Perez paying $11 for a “ten sec setter” is ridiculous.
