  • How To Zero Gap Andis Slimline Pro Li And Adjust Trimmer Blade For Sharper Line Up haircut. In this video, I'll teach you how to zero gap and adjust your Andis Slimline Pro Li Trimmer blade. A simple and easy adjustment can mean the difference between a perfect line up haircut and a bad experience from your barbershop, stylist, or salon. This adjustment will position your cutting blade to about three of four hair strands below your comb blade.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to adjust your Andis Slimline Pro li to zero gap with only a small, high-grade Philips screwdriver. Simply remove the screws holding the blade into place, loosen the screws holding the t-blade slightly, position the t-guide up higher to a zero-gap orientation by moving the cutting blade closer to the comb blade so you can get a closer cut, replace the screws, and then of course test the clipper on your arm to ensure the repositioning has been achieved properly and that you will not be nicking your clients.
Ideal for edging and clipping around the ears and neckline, trimming beards and mustaches, and lining up; the Andis Slimline Pro li clipper is a small; lightweight; cordless trimmer equipped with close-cutting, carbon-steel t-blades, and a powerful rotary motor.

Cheers Larry. I am just a punter, but with your help managed to zero this thing without killing myself. I needed a magnifier to see what I was doing, though. Looking forward to trimming my yeard with the Andis. Ray

Well presented without the jingles. Thank you.I have bought countless Wahl detailer and still not getting clear clean shaving. Can't use shaver or razor due to skin irritation. Hope this will do it for me when I buy one. Unless anyone can advise on a better one.

Hey man, can you still use the guards if you zero gap it? I have mine even with the top, not slightly under, because i'm gonna be using it just on myself, but i'm not sure if it's gonna be a problem with the guards or not.

If they are damaging the skin then you would need to bring the blade down a little bit, but you probably already figured it out by now.
