Another great video Bob - g’day all the way from Luxembourg 🇱🇺. BTW love your Doxa collection ❤
Hey, thanks Stephan ! I spent a couple days in Luxembourg while stationed in Germany. Was driving from Fulda WG to Reims FR for wine tasting fun. Regards Bob C.
PS; My Doxa watches have been loooonnng time favorites.
@@DiversSupplyYT wow that’s really cool. Thank you for your service. I bet you enjoyed the wine and Champagne in Riems 😉. Doxa are killer watches for any diver and watch enthusiast. Keep up the great videos.
Being new I can save money with DIN regulator and have high pressure capacity when I need it. I like the strenght 10:11 of that DINconnection & weight reduction. Looking at the Aqualung as first 10:11 about $499 for both stages. Please advise!
Hey Steve, The DINs are very good and preferred by lots of divers, It's best if you keep a DIN to Yoke Adapter in your kit just in case you run into a Yoke Tank Only situation.... Regards Bob C
Hi Bob. At the end of Dec I purchased a Catalina 80cf Tank from Divers Supply. Had it filled at my Semi Local Shop. Only thing I was surprised is that it didn't come with a Dust Cap. I purchased that while I was there. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get it wet yet. But did Practice setting up my Kit. Checked my Regs and BCD for malfunction. I was recently OW Certified in Aug 23. Waiting for the AOW Class to be scheduled.
Hey Chris, Thanks for sharing and yes the Alum tanks normally don't come with Valve covers or tank boots. You'll see rubber boots as standard on the steel tanks. Always nice to have your own tanks. Regards Bob C
@@DiversSupplyYT The only real issue I had was the UPS Delivery. They weren't allowed to Hold the Tank so I can pick up. I was afraid of it being Damaged or Stolen off the porch.
