Damion is a strange case cause his shadow was scene when they showed the shadows of the ten legendary bladers so he clearly was considered by the writers early on
IMO Tsubasa and Yu not getting evolutions is actually insane. Both carried the same beys as they did since Fusion and while they're really powerful, yeah, they eventually kinda got powercrept.
YES FOR NILE. Nile is one of the most underrated characters in the series. His special move is literally a ONE SHOT. He one shotted lynx and hades crown in metal fury. Masamune to me was just not it for me as a blader. Damian just disappeared so im fine with him not coming back. I rather yuki be replaced by someone.
Facts, yuki shouldve been a regular blader with knowledge on the star fragments and the history behind it and not be a holder himself as that’s basically what he is. In my opinion Dashian Wang should’ve been a legendary blader to add depth to the rivalry against Beylin fist (though Aguma was Kyoyas rival in Fury)
Tsubasa should definitely be a legendary blader. He achieved a lot by freeing himself from the dark power. Moreover, he is talented, intelligent and it's hard not to like him. Nile is incredibly strong. Horuseus is a unique bey and has very strong attacks. If the anime creators didn't want to push him into the background, he could really be one of the best bladers, because he clearly still has a lot of hidden potential. It's sad that such a mental weakling as Yuki is among the legends, and Nile has already been pushed aside. After all, Anubis and Horuseus complement each other in Egyptian mythology.
For real Imagine training as hard as he did consistently. Only to enter tournaments make it to the finals and to lose to essentially die that have Plot armor. Twice It was worth the second time because he was hyped up to be the legendary player only to be shown up by the actual legendary blader and has 2 of your friends be legendary blades too
@@NekoOtori-pm5zi I like yuki he was the one who went to ginga and told him about the star and nemesis. He also went up against ryuga and showed his legendary beyblader power and his bey avatar.
Sora and cyber Pegasus were very underrated. He started like a weakling but became stronger over time and a hero later on and he vowed to surpass gingka with more training and development. But he never got a chance again except a sideline regional qualifier where he was placed 7th.
I agree tbh a lot of these legendary bladers were new characters introduced just for the purpose of being that legendary blader. It would have been better if a lot of the old characters turned out to be legendary bladers
Nile also intercepted and stopped Kyoya's special move in metal fury in the battle with Dynamis, Gingka, Aguma, and Bao. That's a really cool underrated feat. I think he's absolutely on that level
Imo Tsubasa should've been one, I know they didn't really use him later on but he had tons of potential! Instead they make Kenta who didn't even earn it, he got it handed to him by a dying Ryuga.
To be fair, he did earn it he was ginka since the beginning trained with all of them from the beginning, especially since his only goal was to help his friends train really hard, I think his been top 8 in almost every tournament he's been in and was one of the only people to constantly give ryuga a real challenge
@brmawe To be fair, they literally just got their powers at that point. Even ryuga pointed that out. Kenta on the other hand went on a whole journey with ryuga and had a better understanding of both he and ryuga beyblade can do so it makes sense for hid character and the story.
@brmawe that would be the case if Ldrago couldn't just absorb their power Which WHICH HE DID in order to beat in order to beat them the where recklessly attacking him and a big reason why he was able to beat 3 Different legendary bladers back to back. Ryuga also tells them you have to better then to count on the power of your own bey. Kenta even created a new special move just to take ryuga down.
I think they could have pulled off a really cool plot line by making Damian a legendary blader. Dude wasn’t really pure evil he was groomed by Dr Ziggurat as a child knowing basically nothing in his life other than being a glorified lab rat. His whole life basically crumbles in the end of masters and they hadn’t given him a proper satisfying conclusion so I am sure they could have done the “bad guy turned good” trope with him much better than they did with Chris since there was prior build up in metal masters. They did it in the manga after all so why not in the anime as well?
@@wildfangedits6630 in the end of metal masters manga there was no Faust the main antagonist was Damian and he became friends with gingka by the end of the fight
Tsubasa deserves it way more than Masamune. Kenta was obvious option and the show writers knew that and gave it to him (definitely deserved it the most), but after that is was Tsubasa tbh. Better arc and track record in Metal Masters. Masamune lost more fights than he won in MM. Tsubasa won more than he lost.
Hell no everybody forgetting Dashan who was stronger than all of them and he beat Julian outside of the legendary bladers ain’t nobody stronger than him
Masamune lost cause of the plot. He would have beaten klaus and Zeo. In metal when they were fighting in the destroyer dome final King cooked tsubasa. Masamoone gave him a challenge
@@prathwas1665 results matter. He lost lol. Zeo is arguable because he wavered when Toby's potential death was mentioned. But Klaus was a sure fire outcome.
Tsubasa definitely deserved to be a legendary blader. Powerful from the get go, got even stronger after beating the dark power, and even grew in strength during metal fury. By that time he was a lethal blader but got robbed in the end. Only people he lost to in metal fury were LB's. With everything he went through and just how strong he became, he definitely could have been one. I have to agree Nile also was more than worthy of that title. However there were alot of characters that got shafted like he did. Was such a shame.
I think a lot of people underestimate Masamune because of how many loses he has, but they forget how mucht characters like Gingka and Kyoya improved during metal fusion when they started facing strong opponents. This is relevant in the case of Masamune because he lived in the US which seemed to weaker competition, since Japan is by far the best beyblade country. For example, Japan's top 3 are Ryuga, Gingka and Kyoya, while the US has Damian, Jack and Zeo, who have all gone through arrangements. This means that Masamune probably hadn't faced a lot of strong opponents before coming to Japan, which means he had a lot of room for improvement during Metal Masters, like Gingka and Kyoya during Metal Fusion. That means Masamune improved a lot with every battle during the world championships, and ultimately became one of the strongest non legendary bladers by the time of Metal Fury.
@@uw3ird0es47 Since Faust was already stronger than Gingka by the end of Metal Masters (he needed Masamune & Ryuga's help to beat him), I agree since he would gain the same upgrade Gingka did
The whole Damion situation is just bizarre. You can clearly see his silhouette in that one scene but he never actually becomes one or even makes an appearance. I remember being very disappointed when I was younger because Damion was my favorite character from metal masters.
The 5 ancient bladers that have gods as there beyblades were destined to have the star fragment , the only ones that were lucky were the four season constellations that couldve been anybody
Damian was a fraud. The ones who should have been legendary bladers were characters like Yu and Tsubasa and Julian and Dashian. They all put in the effort, were well liked, and had genuine connections to Gingka and the others. The only reason they introduced so many new powerful characters like they did was so they could sell more toys based on new bey avatars.
I agree that Tsubasa should have been one, but Julian and Dashian being legendary bladers wouldn't make a lot of sense, since King and Aguma were basically stronger versions of Julian and Dashian
@@gottesurteil3201 oh yeah, that's actually a good point. I didn't really like Julian a that much, but I also wish that Dashian would rather have been the legendary blader than Aguma
I don’t really like the whole Damian is just a fraud argument considering that Damian was at least getting power from his own potential, Ryuga in Metal fusion was quite literally robbing peoples power in my opinion stealing others power is more fraudulent. Damian never really got a chance to redeem himself and he has some of the best potential for character growth whether it’s good or evil, he’s just a victim of bad execution after masters.
Masamune DESERVED to be a legendary blader: He had the power and dedication to go with it, also he was literally BFF with King. Instead, we got uncooked asshole Chris. Deadass those couple of episodes made me mad
@@maniacgreen8609 Sometimes I just imagine if both Masamune and King were Legendary Blades who work together and do special moves, and I cry. We were robbed of a legendary duo
If Hikaru had become a legendary blader, the arc resulting from it could have helped her rediscover her love of blading after her trauma from Ryuga. However, since Aquario and its corresponding constellation, Aquarius, appears in late summer to early autumn, it would either eliminate Ryuga/Kenta or Gingka as the Legendary Bladers of either of those seasons
Legendary Bladers legitimately drove the entire power system to a new level. For the entire series Gingka was basically the top dog of everyone around him, but then Aguma shows he’s just as strong and subsequently so does King. The good guys having multiple Gingka-level bladers was pretty interesting because I’m sure if Gingka and King double teamed Ryuga they would have gotten a pretty solid victory and for awhile i believed King was the strongest blader on the side of good at least until Gingka defeated Chris. Not saying it was necessarily good or bad, just interesting to think about.
I don't think any team-up could've defeated Ryuga. The dragon emperor alone pushed nemesis to use its Special move for the first time. Rago didn't feel the need to use it while battling all the legendary blades when they teamed up against him. The top two spots are definitely Rago (nemesis), Rayuga (L-drago) and that too because of the fact nemesis had already gained the power of all the blades in the world if it was just a lil bit lower I seriously think Rayuga could've won (still with The Life destructor that is).
@@lordpain5270 Technically no, Nemesis didn't HAVE to use its special move at the end of the fight. Rago basically did it to disrespect Ryuga at the end. Keep mind that Nemesis was not damaged at the end of their fight, it wasn't wobbling and was completely undamaged for the next fight against the rest of the Legendary Bladers, which happens minutes after Ryuga goes down. Sure, Ryuga lasted for awhile, but in the end, he wasn't anywhere close to beating Nemesis. King showed that he was decently close to beating Ryuga at Beyster Island. Ryuga himself seemed a bit shook. This is also the same Ryuga that resorted to his ultimate move against Kenta because he was at least a little scared to lose in that moment. So if Gingka and King faced him at the same time, he'd in all likeihood lose, even if it is after a long and difficult battle. Also keep in mind, both Gingka and King got Ryuga down to survive mode on their own and Gingka got much stronger since his initial fight with Ryuga.
Honestly I’d rather see Nile. He already has a bet that reminds you of Egyptian mythology. And considering one of the beys was Anubius it definitely could’ve worked
I ABSOLUTELY AGGREE WITH THIS VIDEO! No one deserves second chance other than those three! I wish I could travel through time and make Beyblade on my own, only to make this happen and continuing Damian’s story, because he was an absolute madness in MM and the writer just threw him out in the MF series. I had his story in my made, I think I would have a motivation to make my au for those three because they absolutely deserve love :) And if I would have to add another legendary blader, I’d say Dashan and I don’t need to explain why cuz it’s obvious how good this guy is :)
tsubasa and yu are rather strong bladers in their world being above average but there is to many bladers above them. all of the legendary bladers are far above both of them and they don't meet the mark
@@poniemanponies tbh Yu was nerfed to the ground by the writters , I mean we all know how OP Yu was in the first season and how he defeated Gingka. Everyone including Kyoya was shocked , I mean that's some achievement that even he couldn't have(defeated Gingka)
Time to put these guys into 3 levels and let you decide if accurate should've been one: Masamune, Da Xian, Yu, Tsubasa, Julian, Nile, Toby, Damian, and BenKei,. These guys came a LONG way to get to where they are, though some of them not as well deserving like Toby, and Benkei, they still had a lot going for them and the power to back it up. Own a "legendary" Beyblade: This is for the 3 who have legendary Beyblade counterparts OR owned a legendary Beyblade to begin with. Sora, Ryuto, and Ryo. All of them either wield a counterpart Beyblade (Omega Dragonis, Cyber Pegasus, STORM PEGASUS) and no one else really. Honorable mentions: Helios, Kakeru, (that main villain from the psp Beyblade game): keeping it real.. Helios has a sun Beyblade, Kakeru is Kyoya's brother, and that guy who owned cobra was pretty jacked in the game Anyway that's my list
I personally wouldn't change any of the legendary bladers. Well except yuki he was pretty lackluster the whole show but then again he was needed for the plot and to introduce the system. King is my favourite beyblade character of all time (every series) and I personally think he was an amazing addition to the series
Blame Nile to put a curse in Masamune (by saying "those who declare number one before it's decided, are doomed to lose since the start") after beating him the first time they met. I'm aware that Nile, Klaus, Zeo and Chris are the quartet of despair for Masamune, because they wiped the floor with him. Ouch.
@@Underworldwarrior1 I'm aware of that. And also I'm aware that King and Masamune became BFF nonetheless. I put this four in the aforementioned quartet because they were the badass rivals, with Nile in first place as the genesis of Masamune's losing streak.
@@denixonjosebarajasprimera9350 IIRC, didn't Masamune beat Nile in the 2v2 after that? Which was mostly Gingka vs Kyoya again and Masamune vs Nile (I forgot the details though, so I could be wrong)
@@Underworldwarrior1 You are correct in that part, I saw it before. Though Masamune's only winning against Nile wasn't enough to stop what will come next, which of course was the fight against Klaus.
I think you presented very interesting points. The reason we didn't get to have former characters becoming legendary bladers, is pretty much money. The author of the manga had to write the story using the beys takara tomy sends him and he creats characters from those beys. So in the manga the ones that were legendary bladers had the fancy new beys (excpet Yuki) and they were simply a group of very powerfull guys. In the anime they add some lore and justifications to that, which is great, but they obviously could'nt change the identities of the legendary bladers, because that would also means changing the role the most important beyblades (scyte cronos, variares, jade jupiter and all) would get. In terms of character metal fury doesn't offer much new ones, but of all of them Aguma is propably the best, he has the luck of being introduce the first and has a link with the beylin temple and at the end an internal conflict about which path to take. On the orther hand we have Dynamis who is as empty as his bey is expensive in the real world. He only serves to do exposition and to be a legendary blader. Pretty much all the new characters are in between, unfortunatly King, Chris and Tithi seems to have the same boring backstory of "being too strong". I was also sad of not seing more of the previous characters like Julian and I felt Nile could have been used more. Also I really wanted to see Damian again, I felt that his defeat in episode 100 would set up something for him (it was increadibly missleading, but it turns out this fight was more about Kyoya than it was about Damian). Metal fury actually has less episodes than the previous sesons (so they probably did'nt use all the ideas they had). In fact there was distribution problem with the beys (i think hasbro didn't have all the rights and they made some knock off of the fusion whell). And so I think they really wanted to do Shogun Stell/Zerog as fast as possible to show off the new beys, but it didn't really work.
The problem with that is that Eagle is a Summer Constellation bey and Ryuga's L Drago was the Summer bey that was chosen. And on top of that, It's Ryuga. So, as harsh as it sounds, Tsubasa was never going to objectively become a legendary bladder, he was still a great blader though.
@@HelloSayEm6 I know that about the eagle constellation and Ryuga as a legendary blader of the summer season, but it’s still interesting to see him as a legendary blader instead of him because what you’ve said at the last sentence of your comment.
I wonder how they would've used him as a legendary bladder since Metal Fury did practically NOTHING with him. Aside from that one episode where he fights Ryuga, he's only in the endgame battle whereas both Masamune and Yu got actual character development within the season. So above all else, I would've just liked to see them actually use him in a substantial role in the season.
@@HelloSayEm6Everyone knows that already. But if we use that logic Nile and Damian shouldn't be on the list either. Tsubasa was both strong and smart at the same time making him an excellent candidate
Masamune: was weaker than Tsubasa & annoying Damian: he was strong but he wasn't even a real blader, he was an artificial blader, plus he was evil but I agree that Nile was a good candidate & so was Tsubasa. If Ryo continued as a regular Blader in the form of Pheonix, he'd have been good too.
@@jasonmoukala8909 He & Jack were not good bladers until Dr. Ziggurrat gave them the arrangement system which brings out their hidden power to the top. Thats why he was just a artificial blader with no real abilities. A real blader is the one who trains to become what he/she is instead of being a lab rat
No particular order or ranking, here’s My roster of Legendary Bladers would be this: 1: Ryuga 2: Kyoya 3: Gingka 4: Julian 5: Dashan 6: Dynamis 7: Masamune 8: Yuki (should his development have been more advanced) 9: Damian 10: Nile Honorable mentions goes out to Tsubasa.
@DougieYT he literally held his own against ryuga fym. u can dislike his character but hes not only deserving his spot but he also is one of the strongest legendary bladers
As much as I feel that Tsubasa and Masamune got shafted just as strongly as anyone else who thinks that, personally I think the worst shafted character is Dashan. With his great character arc from losing to Gingka in masters he learns the true power of the things that are worth fighting for and we see this in full effect from how he totally mops Julian in hades city. I think a full powered Dashan totally wipes every other non-legendary blader. Tsubasa, Masamune, and Nile could probably all give him a good fight but I think he just a step above them. I think Rock Zurafa had really good potential for a good 4D upgrade too. Imagine it being upgraded to "Wall Zurafa" being inspired by the great wall of course, with a now more specialized fusion wheel and fancy spin track/ tip and making it just the most ridiculous defense type ever. Perfect for representing Dashan.
Bruh dats what I said Dashan was stronger than than excalibur, gan gan galaxy except for ginga I really though he was going to be one but he probably didn’t get picked because of the story line of the fact that the Berlin fist was chosen over beylin temple without that I’m sure dashan would be a legendary blader
Hot take: Sora from Metal Fusion comes back to become a legendary blader. Bro was already crazy powerful as it was he just kinda never came back around after his two encounters with Kenta in Metal Fusion. Plus Cyber Pegasus was cool
My personal choices for a roster of Legendary bladers would be this (Notes : I’m not taking into account the whole constellations and solar system thing, this is just what I would’ve loved to see ; I’m not counting Rago, because I think that he should’ve been his own kind of blader ; I giving 12 choices because I think it sounds better than only 10, and why the hell not ; and I’ll only explain the new additions/replacements). The ones I’d keep are : -Gingka -Kyoya -Ryuga/Kenta -King -Dynamis -Tihi -Aguma I’m taking out Yuki because I feel like he was the weakest of all of them, he didn’t even get a change to his bey with the star fragment (I think), and he could’ve still fulfilled his role in the story without being a Legendary blader. And Chris is out because I don’t like him and he’s mid as a character. That leaves 5 places for new additions. My 100% additions would be: -Tsubasa, he was robbed as a character ; his whole plot in Metal Fury was pretty much useless, and he has had the same bey since for ever. And eveolution of Eagle that would be even more aerial and graceful woukd’ve been great (maybe "Sky Eagle" instead of "Earth Eagle" or something), and he could’vd awakened it against Ryuga on top of the tower. -Masamune, he was robbed even more than Tsubasa ; even though I don’t particularly like him as a character, he is pretty damn strong, and I think that his change from Striker to Blitz Striker would’ve been great as a star fragment evolution instead of just a change of bey. He could’ve awakened it against Chris for example, taking his place as a Legendary blader. -Nile, because he’s so damn strong ; he has incredible feats and is really slept on as a character, and could’ve awakened against Dynamis when they encountered him by battling against him. Nile was overall underutilized, and Horuseus is a great bey. An evolution of it would be absolutely insane. -Da Xian, probably my biggest diappointment ; he’s one of my favorite characters of Beyblade, and in my opinion one of the strongest non Legendary bladers. I would’ve especially loved to see Aguma’s redemption arc focused on his rivalry with Da Xian, both as Legendary bladers to represent both the Temple and Fist of Beylin. I’ve seen another comment talking about a possible evolution of Rock Zurafa as "Wall Zurafa", taking inspiration from the Great Wall of China and making it the ultimate defensive bey, that he could’ve awakened to block Aguma’s special move. That would go super hard and I would have loved to see that. If I could’ve had only one Legendary blader, it would’ve been him because he would’ve been perfect for the Beylin plot and as a character. As for a last addition to the Legendary bladers...It’s tough. Julian is out, because his Gravity Destroyer is a rip-off of King’s Variares, so the beys would be too similar. I don’t think Benkei is strong enough, even though I would’ve loved to see an evolution of Dark Bull (but he’s still on my list because I love him, and he could’ve trained with Kyoya or Nile or something, like Kenta did with Ryuga). Damian and Jack are out too in my opinion, because unless we had a Damian redemption arc, well- Damian’s power is "fake", or at least he didn’t work to get it, and Jack is out becausd we’ve seen him and he wasn’t that strong. But who knows. My possible propositions would be Yu, Chi Yun or Klaus (potentially Damian or Benkei as I’ve already mentionned). Chi Yun is strong enough in my opinion, and it would be nice to see him follow in Da Xian’s footsteps (showing the Legendary bladers how to work as a team too), but that would mean 2 members od the Beylin temple and only Aguma for the Fist of Beylin, so it’d be unlikely (their battle style would be too similar anyway). Yu is incredibly underrated and strong as hell, and his Libra would be even more OP with an evolution, but one problem that I see is that we don’t really get to see and avatar for it, like ever. So unless we would get one, it’d be weird ; his bey doesn’t really have an "essence" of sort, it’s just sonic waves and all. So he’d be lower on my list. -So my best bet would be on Klaus. He has all the qualities to be a Legendary bladers, he always pushes above his limits, he was shown to be on par with Masamune in Masters (and therefore probably Nile too), and he’s from Germany which would bring diversity to the team, which is always cool. And he could’ve gotten back into the series for the Dome battle for example, because King would’ve needed a strong opponent to reveal himself, as Masamune would’ve gotten demolished without Blitz Striker. The battle with both King and Klaus going above their limits would’ve been awesome. So yeah, that’d be my list (if we abolutely had to reduce if fo 10 bladers, I would take out Klaus and Masamune, with the latter keeping the same storyline as fhe original, minus the whole Chris thing).
Damian is literally behind the 10 legendary bladers. I think he would of been right behind the 4 season bladers if he was in metal fury. Him and Ryuga would have been legendary.
My ideal Legendary Blader lineup: Gingka Kyoya Tsubasa (Having an arc where he tries to consistently live without the dark power from Masters, which I think is very realistic) Hikaru (She would need to get over her PTSD and learn to see the good in Beyblade again to draw the power of her legendary bey) Damian (Taking the role of Chris, as I think he would´ve worked wonders in his place with a redemption arc) Yuki (Also covering for Dynamis who only served for exposition) Aguma King Ryuga (He would not exactly be a legendary blader from the start, but become one by absorbing the dark star fragment) I don´t have any idea for a 10th as Ryuga already covers for the dark fragment slot.
@azumarill964 Hikaru is to weak she lasted 2 seconds against ryuga while Tsubasa and kyoya were able to have good matches she was always a tier below the rest
it shouldve been more than 10 and they shouldve either had deeper more well written backstories for the bladers or have strong characters we knew return
nile shouldve been the mercury blader, having horuseus evolve into anubius since he claimed anubius as his new bey in the DS game or helios as a sun blader, being the other side of the medal next to the dark sun/nemesis
damian as a "guardian dog" for pluto and rago, since that was cerberus/kerbecs order in mythology for hades, he couldve been brought back into metal fury as a shell of himself only driven by the curse of hades and his own resentment for gingka and kyoya 🤷
the beyblade metal saga has had way more storyline / character potential than what the animation company Tatsunoko succeeded to create, maybe because of takara tomys primary goal to just sell the products n toys or because they lacked budget
If Masamune was the Winter Constellation Legendary Blader that means Ray Striker would actually transform into Blitz Striker and maybe he would’ve went to Mist Mountain along with King and maybe Toby and Zeo as well
And for Damian I’d say he would be on the side of reviving the God Of Destruction Nemesis along with Jack and for Niles he would take Yuki’s role as the Mercury Legendary Blader since he’d be strong than him.
I feel like everyone was fine except for Yuki and Tithi. Dynamis was wiser and smarter than Yuki. Yuki was also the weakest legendary blader too. And although Tithi was strong, I just personally don’t like him. The only reason I’m not saying Chris shouldn’t have been a legendary blader is because I like him as a character and he was at least stronger than all the solar system legendary bladers. I feel like Masamune, Nile, or Daxian should replace them. Although I like Masamune and Nile more, it’s not fair that Aguma was a legendary blader and Daxian wasn’t.
I rewatched the metal saga as a adult couple years back, and I definitely think they could of done better with the legendary bladers, I wish Yuki wasn’t one or changed his character, as he was much weaker than the other bladers and to my knowledge never even had a special move, also never beat any other legendary blader 1v1, besides his battle with ryuga in the beginning showing his potential but never had any other good moments, also Chris kinda came out of no where, I think we should of made crabby man a legendary blader for winter, idk why I loved him and was sad he was gone after metal fusion despite being a very recurring character, also shout out to Sora, never got his chance to shine and deserved too
To this day i wish and still subconsciously beg for more Nile feats and wish he would be a legendary blader, I'm so salty it didn't happen but you can do nothing about it
Correction there are 9 Legendary bladers that got star fragment power the 10th was for some reason in nemesis and a character i had in mind is helios and sol blaze
I feel like Helios and his beyblade Sol Blaze, would have made excellent legendary bladers. Of course the movie he was in was never released in English Dub.
Metal Fury was honestly the worst one in the metal saga. The only new character in that saga that i liked was King. Other than that, all of them were pretty average. Also i really didn't like, how they treated Ryuga during this season.
Would love to have seen Damian return. I personally think apart from Yuki all other legendary bladers were cool. Yuki was odd, the guy wasn't strong or anything and I can't remember him beating someone by himself unlike all other legendary bladers. I saw some people mention Aguma didn't deserve it, but I think he played an important part in the battle against Nemesis. He was most strategic.
1. Chris was clearly stronger than Masamune. 2. I have to agree with you for Nile is really a strong blader. 3. What makes you think the power drawn out by the arrangement system is your own power? Are you saying all the hard training done by truly powerful bladers like Ryuga and Kyoya just a waste? Even is arrangment draws out power within you it still doesn't belong to you since you didn't work any hard in getting that. It's like using a helicopter to reach the top of Mt. Everest and claiming you are the best Mountain climber.
I think the show said the arrangement system pulls out power from within. It’s definitely not fair that they didn’t have to train like everyone else for it, but it technically is their power. That’s why I was saying if Damian became a legendary blader I would want him to ditch the arrangement system and train like a real blader
Even if the power is their own, its just cheating. Ryuga trained hard inside a fricking volcano to bring out his strength from within. Kyoya trained hard in the storms to master the tornadoes. If Damian ditched the arrangement system then he definitely could have been a legendary blader but since he wasn't we can assume he wasn't worthy.
I always thought they set up Benkei harder then Masumune. The reason, Masumune already had an upgrade, there is no way they would have made him upgrade twice in one season, Benkei also had a winter constellation and him being the winter blader would have been a good underdog story line. I thought metal fury was a very lazy half baked season, and you can see this with the numerous animation errors. Metal fusion had a few errors I noticed, I didn't notice any with metal masters(I am not saying there are none, but there aren't half as many), but my goodness the amount of times they screw up Cosmic Pegasus's mode changes during important battles, the fact that they animated Rock Leone instead of Fang Leone several times in his double battle with Johannes (also it's not like they mixed up stock footage with Rock Leone from previous seasons, they literally animated Rock Leone and Beat Linx in the same frame at one point in the fight), them forgetting that Sagitario's claws were destroyed in the fight against nemesis before it evolved, there were so many egregious errors it was genuinely funny, you can tell the team was probably sleep deprived and just wanted to get it over with. Metal Master's is easily the best season imho, the only complaints I have is how Masumune got the short end of the stick in all of his battles. Other than that you can tell they put in a lot more effort in that season than either Metal fusion or Fury.
Damian would probably join forces with ginga and get his little redemption arc it would have been cool to see him actually battle against ryuga because they never met in masters which they were suppose to but it never happened also in the manga once damian was defeated ginga befriended him making him and ginga buddies to bad it never happened in the show
Masamune's we'd also see him rival and go toe to toe with an actual legendary blader by the solar system. The thing is King is the best attacker in those 5 and Masamune was able to rival against him
I’m surprised you didn’t bring up Faust, aka Toby . Undoubtedly the most overpowered Blader in the Metal Masters Saga even surpassing the likes of Damian. His Bey Twisted Tempo/Basalt Horogium has the power to literally Manipulate Space and Time. Let’s not forget the time he even Created a black hole using a bey! Like that’s some god level stuff right there. And it’s sad that after the arrangement system was cut off Toby, he was severely downgraded into a forgettable character in Metal Fury with his Lyra bey. Overall, Toby would have been the perfect embodiment as a legendary Blader in his prime.
Why Helios & Sol Blaze didn't get picked by the star fragments??? they clearly one of the strongest out there also they the "Scorching hot invader" or the blader of the sun, perfectly fit for one of the spots for becoming 1 with 10, just imagine tho, The sun vs the black sun, would've so cool frrrrrrr!!!!!!
I would have liked to see Hyoma or Hikaru become Legendary Bladers. They seemed to have stopped battling after their losses to Reiji and Ryuga respectively, so maybe it would have been nice seeing one of them overcome that.
what if idea: What if yuki trained to get to the same level as kenta (after he got the star fragment) or even gingka and kyoya (since they hadn't mastered their beys when they fought ryuga) after he awakened against ryuga ? I found it odd that he had so much knowledge (after dynamis) just to end up as the weakest legendary blader.
Damion is a strange case cause his shadow was scene when they showed the shadows of the ten legendary bladers so he clearly was considered by the writers early on
Yeah I feel like they originally planned for him to be one
Yu tendo is super underrated I mean he was matching kyoya and that girl i can't remember her name

IMO Tsubasa and Yu not getting evolutions is actually insane. Both carried the same beys as they did since Fusion and while they're really powerful, yeah, they eventually kinda got powercrept.

I wish Nile got more screen time. He was such an interesting character with a lot of potential. Not to mention he was strong as hell
Also he never lost one on one
I mean yuki part as a lb was to be brain of force against nemesis you know, y'all just want muscle power
That should have been a reason to introduce Helios and Sol Blaze
Unrelated but Masamune's two friends losing their Masters beys in Fury is the biggest robbery I've ever seen
Well Tempo is freaking terrifying, but Byxis was ok and kinda unique (Flash Sagittario noises), so yes, it's was a wasted opportunity...

Sora and Cyber Pegasus was actually my favorite from the Metal Saga
I agree tbh a lot of these legendary bladers were new characters introduced just for the purpose of being that legendary blader. It would have been better if a lot of the old characters turned out to be legendary bladers
Yeah I agree.
Agreed
Nile also intercepted and stopped Kyoya's special move in metal fury in the battle with Dynamis, Gingka, Aguma, and Bao. That's a really cool underrated feat. I think he's absolutely on that level
I think tsubasa could maybe have been one sense that could also explain why the dark power chose him after ryoga instead of someone else
I’ve been saying that for a while I agree
Imo Tsubasa should've been one, I know they didn't really use him later on but he had tons of potential! Instead they make Kenta who didn't even earn it, he got it handed to him by a dying Ryuga.
To be fair, he did earn it he was ginka since the beginning trained with all of them from the beginning, especially since his only goal was to help his friends train really hard, I think his been top 8 in almost every tournament he's been in and was one of the only people to constantly give ryuga a real challenge
@@shallot1939 Imo I find it hard to believe that Kenta could break L Drago's face plate but a STAR FRAGMENT Pegasus and Leone couldn't.
@brmawe To be fair, they literally just got their powers at that point. Even ryuga pointed that out. Kenta on the other hand went on a whole journey with ryuga and had a better understanding of both he and ryuga beyblade can do so it makes sense for hid character and the story.
@@shallot1939 Even if they just got the power they still should be vastly more powerful regardless if they understood the star fragments or not.
Finally someone brings up nile
I think they could have pulled off a really cool plot line by making Damian a legendary blader. Dude wasn’t really pure evil he was groomed by Dr Ziggurat as a child knowing basically nothing in his life other than being a glorified lab rat. His whole life basically crumbles in the end of masters and they hadn’t given him a proper satisfying conclusion so I am sure they could have done the “bad guy turned good” trope with him much better than they did with Chris since there was prior build up in metal masters. They did it in the manga after all so why not in the anime as well?
Damian had an arc in metal fury manga?
@@wildfangedits6630 in the end of metal masters manga there was no Faust the main antagonist was Damian and he became friends with gingka by the end of the fight
Tsubasa deserves it way more than Masamune. Kenta was obvious option and the show writers knew that and gave it to him (definitely deserved it the most), but after that is was Tsubasa tbh. Better arc and track record in Metal Masters. Masamune lost more fights than he won in MM. Tsubasa won more than he lost.

Honestly I was extremely disappointed that Damien wasn’t in metal fury like his bey is the beast that guards hades house.
HELIOS SHOULDVE BEEN INTRODUCED especially since he has a god bey

The whole Damion situation is just bizarre. You can clearly see his silhouette in that one scene but he never actually becomes one or even makes an appearance. I remember being very disappointed when I was younger because Damion was my favorite character from metal masters.

@@wildfangedits6630 Yeah, but I don't wanna take Ryuga and Kenta's arc away from them, it's too wholesome to lose

How?

Helios has a sun Beyblade, Kakeru is Kyoya's brother, and that guy who owned cobra was pretty jacked in the game
Anyway that's my list

Instead of being a legendary blader Damien should have been one of the henchmen for rago
Wow, bro, your work is great!!!

I think Tsubasa could have been a great legendary blader

I agree could've had a whole Arc with Sora and had a Student/Mentor role with Gingka to, what a shame.
Yeah I would’ve loved to see Sora
Nile should have been one of them.
The ones I’d keep are :
-Gingka
-Kyoya
-Ryuga/Kenta
-King
-Dynamis
-Tihi
-Aguma
I’m taking out Yuki because I feel like he was the weakest of all of them, he didn’t even get a change to his bey with the star fragment (I think), and he could’ve still fulfilled his role in the story without being a Legendary blader. And Chris is out because I don’t like him and he’s mid as a character.
That leaves 5 places for new additions. My 100% additions would be:
-Tsubasa, he was robbed as a character ; his whole plot in Metal Fury was pretty much useless, and he has had the same bey since for ever.
Yuki was the biggest 🥩🚴♂️ known to mankind kenta second calling gingka mr like he aint 3 years older than you🤦🏾♂️
Cyber Pegasus deserved one
Damian is literally behind the 10 legendary bladers.
I think he would of been right behind the 4 season bladers if he was in metal fury.
Him and Ryuga would have been legendary.
Benkei should have at least been in the final fight. Bro got shafted
I don't know if you do request but can you a what if centered around this idea
Bruh Masamune Directly scales to King to which is the crazy thing
Fr bro wasn't lb because he would be next main character then 😂
Arguably strongest if lb power fragment isn't considered
My ideal Legendary Blader lineup:
Gingka
Kyoya
Tsubasa (Having an arc where he tries to consistently live without the dark power from Masters, which I think is very realistic)
Hikaru (She would need to get over her PTSD and learn to see the good in Beyblade again to draw the power of her legendary bey)
Damian (Taking the role of Chris, as I think he would´ve worked wonders in his place with a redemption arc)
Yuki (Also covering for Dynamis who only served for exposition)
Aguma
King
Ryuga (He would not exactly be a legendary blader from the start, but become one by absorbing the dark star fragment)
I don´t have any idea for a 10th as Ryuga already covers for the dark fragment slot.
Hikaru is crazy
@@calebpark665 I mean it would be a good idea in order to keep her character relevant. Also there was not a single female legendary blader.
@azumarill964 Hikaru is to weak she lasted 2 seconds against ryuga while Tsubasa and kyoya were able to have good matches she was always a tier below the rest
@@luis.ramirez-diarte8654 So was Yuki, but he got a lot better through training. Being a legendary blader isn´t a synonym for being previously strong.
@azumarill964 Yuki should have never been a legendary blader also isn't tilth or however you spell it a girl?
Need a part 2
My candidate is Deshian. I was thinking tsubasa but he kinda fell of after metal masters. Although he helped alot.
it shouldve been more than 10 and they shouldve either had deeper more well written backstories for the bladers or have strong characters we knew return
nile shouldve been the mercury blader, having horuseus evolve into anubius since he claimed anubius as his new bey in the DS game
or helios as a sun blader, being the other side of the medal next to the dark sun/nemesis
damian as a "guardian dog" for pluto and rago, since that was cerberus/kerbecs order in mythology for hades, he couldve been brought back into metal fury as a shell of himself only driven by the curse of hades and his own resentment for gingka and kyoya 🤷
the beyblade metal saga has had way more storyline / character potential than what the animation company Tatsunoko succeeded to create, maybe because of takara tomys primary goal to just sell the products n toys or because they lacked budget
I rewatched the metal saga as a adult couple years back, and I definitely think they could of done better with the legendary bladers, I wish Yuki wasn’t one or changed his character, as he was much weaker than the other bladers and to my knowledge never even had a special move, also never beat any other legendary blader 1v1, besides his battle with ryuga in the beginning showing his potential but never had any other good moments, also Chris kinda came out of no where, I think we should of made crabby man a legendary blader for winter, idk why I loved him and was sad he was gone after metal fusion despite being a very recurring character, also shout out to Sora, never got his chance to shine and deserved too
Masamune should have been legendary blader.
I agree he was very powerful
To this day i wish and still subconsciously beg for more Nile feats and wish he would be a legendary blader, I'm so salty it didn't happen but you can do nothing about it
I always felt bad for Benkei for getting shafted
For real! Benkei was always one of my favourite characters, especially when he stepped up his character when Kyoya first joined Dark Nebula
Any link to Damian and Pluto? I mean those two have similar designs
Correction there are 9 Legendary bladers that got star fragment power the 10th was for some reason in nemesis and a character i had in mind is helios and sol blaze
Tsubsa Yu and Masamune all should of been legendary blader
Damien was strong but idk man a lil too evil 😂 if anything I’d say Deshian or however you spell it from Beylin Temple
I feel like Helios and his beyblade Sol Blaze, would have made excellent legendary bladers. Of course the movie he was in was never released in English Dub.
Beyblade metal series is peak
Real
could have 8 legendary bladers from the four seasons: tsubasa, julian, dashan, damian.
9: Nile
Metal Fury was honestly the worst one in the metal saga. The only new character in that saga that i liked was King. Other than that, all of them were pretty average. Also i really didn't like, how they treated Ryuga during this season.
personally i liked chris too but yea fury is the weak link
I disagree. this had the best plot and fights
Very interesting
That’s why I was saying if Damian became a legendary blader I would want him to ditch the arrangement system and train like a real blader
the power of the arrangement IS their own power it's just acquired without effort kinda like if a student unlocks his inner talent through a machine
Funny how Ginga got chosen as legendary blader even though he never trained his ass off but only because he was the MC.
@@ash_brawlstars3225 The star fragment does not choose you on the basis of strength or training.
Masamune deserves better instead he got shafted.
His debut arc for the African representative keeping toe to toe with Kyoga.
Helios Should actually have been one of the legendary bladers
I live for more beyblade anime discussion videos
The thing is King is the best attacker in those 5 and Masamune was able to rival against him
Masa vs Chris was one of the best
I’m surprised you didn’t bring up Faust, aka Toby . Undoubtedly the most overpowered Blader in the Metal Masters Saga even surpassing the likes of Damian. His Bey Twisted Tempo/Basalt Horogium has the power to literally Manipulate Space and Time. Let’s not forget the time he even Created a black hole using a bey! Like that’s some god level stuff right there. And it’s sad that after the arrangement system was cut off Toby, he was severely downgraded into a forgettable character in Metal Fury with his Lyra bey. Overall, Toby would have been the perfect embodiment as a legendary Blader in his prime.
it’s because faust wasn’t really an actual person, he was turned into him.
Yeah he was a perfect choice
I would have liked to see Hyoma or Hikaru become Legendary Bladers. They seemed to have stopped battling after their losses to Reiji and Ryuga respectively, so maybe it would have been nice seeing one of them overcome that.
Hyoma? Hikaru? There's no way ur serious
what if idea: What if yuki trained to get to the same level as kenta (after he got the star fragment) or even gingka and kyoya (since they hadn't mastered their beys when they fought ryuga) after he awakened against ryuga ? I found it odd that he had so much knowledge (after dynamis) just to end up as the weakest legendary blader.
