Finally, a decently good marketing effort for this bike. Like srs. NONE of the pictures in the press material or other videos show nice angles/lighting for this bike, and highlight the wrong elements. Pls Suzuki, look at what brands like Triumph are doing. I love your bikes. Do them justice with the right marketing.
Curious to sit on the bike and feel the ergos. I kind of thought (and hoped) it would just be an 8S riding position with better wind protection, but it looks like they've gone the route of making the whole thing geared more towards sports riding. A lot of reviews praised the 8S's handling and sure-footedness so I'm hopeful that Suzuki have once again nailed the setup on the new suspension.
@@Gideon_Judges6 but they are marketing it as a sport bike, in Europe the only "real" GSXR that is currently sold is the gsx-r125 and they put it to the same category in their website
If you havent noticed the market is moving away from super or hyper sports bikes, you just cant use them more than 50% on the road and if you can you should be racing. if you want a hyper sports go back around 10 years some great bikes. I cant use my GSXS1000 to its anywhere nears its potential on UK roads and that is about 60 bho short of current sportsbikes.
Shame you've all but given up on the bike that you think of when you think of Suzuki the Gsxr 1000. The best bike Suzuki ever made resigned to the History books 👎
You can't live in 2001 anymore. BMW and Ducati are giving the Japanese a hard time. Currently there is no market for hiper inflated sportsbikes. Those bikes are now toys for rich boys. What Suzuki needs is usable motorcycles, bring back the DR line-up, the reliable and simple Bandit (the 400 wasn't that reliable), ditch expensive electronics. Look at what the curries are doing, why are they expanding as they are and taking a part of the Japanese market?
@@polla2256 I know modern sports bikes are incredibly powerful and much faster than 20 years ago. Give me the choice of a 210hp S1000RR or a 180hp 2004 fireblade, and I'll take the fireblade. Much more enjoyable motorcycle. Rode both on the same track, the fireblade is alive, the S1000 is... dull.
Suzuki just can't seem to give us a complete package in a new bike, there is always something lacking, They get most of the things great and then fail in a few important aspects.. Just steers me away from the brand every time.

I own the 8s and love it, saw the 8r at motorcycle live and loved the look, hopefully test it in the spring.
I have ordered mine, i hope its a great success for Suzuki. Btw always been a suzi man still got my old GS 550 plus my GSX 750ES.

The bike looks great would love to have 1.
Looks good, black or blue wheels would've looked better on the blue bike though...
I❤Love❤Suzuki❤
Can the shift lever be changed to race shift and how easy/hard is it to do?
Wish they released this with the 8s. Like the sportier version a lot more and would like a firmer suspension on the 8s.
why can i not find it in black?
The new GSX-8R is available in black, you can find out more here: bikes.suzuki.co.uk/bikes/sport/gsx-8r/
ah, black is not available in the US @@SuzukiBikesUK
please sir same design 150 R launch
everybody in europe: waiting for a real gsxr sport bike
Suzuki: here is an adventure biked named gsxr
Well, to be fair they named it GSX... then a number... then R. Kind of like the Hayabusa, technically.

Everybody sounds a bit excessive lol. Also, it is a sport bike. Supersport? No. But it is a sport bike.
Nice one, Ian! 😉
Will this be launched in India ???
Awesome!
ME ENAMORÉ
So good❤❤❤
The side profile of this motorcycle is absolutely beautiful.

What tires are coming factory on the 8R
Hi there, they are fitted with Dunlop SPORTMAX Roadsport 2 tyres.

Well that sucks, 85PS..needs to be around 140 to have any real fun. Missed the mark again. IMHO.
dear suzuki, time for an all new from the ground up NEW GSXR 1000 SUPERBIKE!
Actually, they already filed a patent about that.
Monocilíndrico ela treme?

Another glorified beginner bike like the R7. Underpowered and weak. Yuck. Not a real supersport like the ZX6-R.
Not everyone wants super sports. Been there, done that.

I wish it had cruise control and maybe a option for heated grips
@@AJsRidesaneReviews you can option heated grips, its on their website.. however, no cruise.
I think maybe you need to own one.
