Almeida is a GC winner material although his one of a few disadvantages is that he is not able to react to powerful attacks which makes him vulnerable to the ones like Remco, Roglic or Vingegaard.

For Pogacar to be better than Eddy Merckx as to win at least 5 Tour (34 stages), 5 Giros 1 Vuelta, Hour Record, 3x World Campion, 7!!! Giro Lombardia, 5 Liege- Bastogne- Liege!!!, 3 Paris - Roubaix, 2 Tour Flandres, and then there is the six days, good luck with that.

When Merckx was 25, he didn't win many more races than he did. The number of wins is not even that important. What matters is how you win, and they are similar here.

Merckx reed tegen 60 profs en nog 40 amateurs je kan dat niet meer vergelijken .

Hij is absoluut niet de beste renner uit de geschiedenis de gene die dit denkt heeft geen verstand van wielrennen.
Tuurlijk wel. Als je denkt dat hij het niet is heb je geen verstand van wielrennen. Alle vorige generaties zaten keihard aan de drugs, Pogacar is 1 van de eerste coureurs waarvan we weten dat hij die pharmacy niet gebruikt. Als je alleen al kijkt naar hoe goed hij was toen hij nog slechte training kreeg in de eerste jaren bij UAE. Nou krijgt hij de professionele training, en hij wordt gewoon nog beter. Pogacar heeft zo goed als nooit slechte dagen, en dan kan elke expert op zijn eigen terrein uitdagen. HIj kan MVDP verslaan in de klassiekers, Vingegaard in de bergen, Ganna op een tijdritfiets, en op een goeie dag zelfs Philipsen in de sprint. Er is nooit een betere renner geweest dan Pogacar.

Het is duidelijk dat je een grote fan bent van Pogacar en werpt verschillende stellingen op die aannamens zijn . Ik weet niet of dat hij wel of geen doping gebruikt, dat weet ik namelijk van de meeste renners niet.@@woutkoopman

Wrong again dopey! Merckx was charged by UCI 3 times, on each occasion he was subsequently cleared in court. Get your facts correct mouth!

The sport has evolved a lot. The pro peloton was a lot weaker during the Merckx era. Pogacar is winning against much harder competition.
