If I’m Joel tbh I will be sitting in the front office letting the GM know this year is the year you get me some pieces around me, because you got PG13 going into free agent, BI you can make a trade for and KD looks unhappy in Phoenix so Joel would be the best fit for him since he’s getting older but the key factor is when Tobias Harris goes into free agency do not resign him.

Embiid unfortunately seemed to be the main reason they kept Tobias this past season. He emphasized continuity a lot and even in his post game interview after the season ended again. Daryl Morey initially brought up continuity at the start of the season and made it a point that Joel wanted it. By the end of the season he was over the concept lol so agree with Snow there but some of Embiids suggestions do carry weight. Imo this is the main reason they didn’t even attempt to get rid of the Tobias contract in the last year or at the trade deadline - that and cap flexibility. Now did we keep Tobias because Embiid said so or mostly because of cap…only Morey knows.
If im Morey, I'm going all in to trade for Durant. Him Embid and Maxey work. Second plan if no Durant, I'm all in on a trade that can land us Murray and kuzma. 2 first for Murray and one first 2 Seconds for Kuz

- not sure if they can afford these players
- of course they are staying away from Miles
- of course Chicago won't let Williams leave
- but Williams does have injury history
- trade Reed & Picks for Caruso
- of course I would want Mikal or Markkannen in a trade but not sure if it's realistic
