I just bought a BCM MCMR 14.5 P&W upper a few weeks back and I can honestly say I like it better than my Daniel Defense M4V7p.
Larry, love the rifle! I just bought one from Daniel at PBR in Matthews NC. Your video’s on it sealed the deal for me on going BCM. Can’t wait to train with you locally again.

I love the upper. Moving the forward assist is awesome. Being left handed I won’t rip my finger nail off on the rim of the assist anymore.

Great rifle I just put together almost the same setup. MK2 upper, LW 16" barrel, but with MCMR hand guard. Its light weight and comfortable to handle. When I hold my SW sport 2 in one hand and my BCM in the other I can see what the extra money gets you. If your saving for a rifle just go ahead and get the BCM you wont regret it.

I run a BCM MCMR handguard among other BCM components on my urrey day build. Love that handguard only downside is it can get hot being as slimline as it is.

I have a 14.5 AR15 build on the horizon. Planning to use a lot of BCM parts.
The whole mounting the light on the top rail is pretty genius. Idk why i hadnt thought of that I guess probably the aesthetics lol. But mounting an x300 or wml up there is the perfect place.
BCM really is one hell of a company.

Great point on the set-up of the light at 12 o'clock. Like you said, there's no issues with running the rifle up against any type of support. I do like the movement of the forward assist closer to the ejection port although I bet you get some slack about even needing one but that a video for another day (maybe). Like others have said, you're looking good ! You're NOT that far guy anymore even though I thought that statement by anyone asinine considering your background. Keep the videos rocking LAV !...

I'm very opposite with Larry when it comes to cross dominant hand shooting. I use my rifle on my right hand, while my pistol on my left. But I'm very glad this is a thing, even for people who are known in the community

Change out the buffer plate to a plain flat one. The QD gets disconnected easily.

Make a video about your right-hand/left-hand shooting: why you shoot this way, issues, considerations. I'm a lefty and unless you are one I don't think you understand the implications of a RH world (not whining, statement of fact). I would appreciate your thoughts on overcoming the "disability."

Love it!! I just got the padded vickers sling for my bcm 16 Reece and next looking at optics, not sure if I want red dot with a magnifier or a 1-6 magnified scope. I’ll be shooting from 10 yards or closer out to 300 max with the places I shoot it’s hard to find any farther ranges.
JT droppin D Bombs on EM I mean an EOTech magnifier combo works great close up to about 400 yards personally for me. I wouldn’t really try to push it farther. but comes with a big price tag. If you’re not shooting competitions the strike eagle by vortex is cheap with a lifetime warranty. Or the razer 1-6 it’s a bit more than the EOTech combo. And it works as a red dot at 1X

That bad boy is awesome. I've been super impressed with BCM , after all they use the best HF barrels in the world. I will have to give the LW HF Barrel a try . Personally I'm not a fan of them but as I'm getting older I'd probably enjoy it a little bit more. My 2 go too Carbines as of right now is my BCM 11.5" HF and LWRC IC DI 14.7" . I will grab the BCM first though . .

Real slick build! Is there a reason you don't run an IR-laser? Do you just not own NODs and have no need?
Not sure i see the point with beefing up the upper reciever to mitigate flex?? I think it would make zero difference. The FA is a good idea though. I think the best ways to make the ar better is the route knights armerment went with their gas system and rounded lugs. Just me 2 cents :)
