I was a LAPD Cop 35 years. I worked downtown LA in 1995. I saw them filming this on the weekends. It was like a war zone. But reality is no LAPD cops had AR-15s or M-16s except for SWAT team. We only had 12 gauge pump shotguns.

It's pronounced RAH-em. And if you pull the recoil spring guide rod, the slide stop will fall out like magic. You will damage the finish on the gun if you remove the stop the way this dood is doing it.

I just did the rifle side of my shooting range at 50 yards for the first time which people have a hard time shooting with an ar15 I had weird looks being the only one with a pistol on that side of the range but I was getting most of my shots on a 8” target with a 9mm Glock 17 , but I couldn’t tell if I was hitting anything without zooming with my iPhone and checking. I hit 17 shots out of 20. I went and checked out the 100 yard side and thought nobody could shoot this with a hand gun so I didn’t even try, I can’t even begin to imagine what a 250 yard shot would look like let alone anything above 100.

Being a guy who served in the Army Reserves, overlubrication is NOT a myth. In Basic Combat Training (at least in 2020, when I went), our drill sergeants would overlube our M4s when we went to the shooting range. I’m talking that the oil would literally be bleeding out of the rifle, that level of overlubbing. When the M4s were overlubbed, they malfunctioned all the time. I couldn’t make it through a single mag without a malfunction. Fast forward I few years, with me shooting both my Reserves M4 and my own civilian weapons. I’ve had ZERO malfunctions because I don’t over lube my weapons. So sorry, Vickers, but your conclusion is BS because I can tell you, from my experience, that guns do malfunction when overlubbed. Overlubrication is not a myth. Further, your test is invalid because you had a ridiculously small sample size. You only fired a few dozen rounds out of an overlubbed gun. A more valid test would be if you fired ~400 to ~1000 rounds, so you have a larger sample size. Out
