Yay! So happy for you. My husband had his prostate cancer removed when he was 60. The cancer was found at age 59. The Doctor got it all. His test always comes back undetectable and is now considered cancer free. You will be, too!
As a person who's had cancer and tons of others around me had it, passed. It's so nice to see a great video of folks beating it. All the best to you Neil!
Charles I really do thank you for watching mate. I'm only a small time CZcamsr and planning to do more on the mental side in the months ahead. Cheers bud
I'm in bits here... this is the first time I felt I could give a thumbs up with a clear conscience ❤. This is a fantastic news... virtual HUGS from Christine and me.
So happy for you, my husband had cancer in his prostrate too and had the surgery. He had the same results as you and it has been over 25 years ago. You had me scared there for awhile ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations. Mine was diagnosed June 2021 at 55 with Gleason 6 2 out of 12 cores nothing seen on MRI. I still chose surgery over active surveillance based on my age and had a robotic prostatectomy October 2021 and so far my PSA has been undetectable for a year and a half. I was back to normal on everything by month seven so I am grateful to be on the other side. Cheers.
My husband was diagnosed in 2023 and his Gleeson score is 4+3. His PSA was up and so they started taking blood work. They took 12 cores out when he had his biopsy. Now he’s going for a radiation and we’re going to see where it goes from there. 75% of involvement. I’m so scared. We been together 37 years.
Do you have trouble holding your urine? There are things that I would like to know because my husband was diagnosed in 2022 with cancer the prostate he had 12 biopsies taken out and he’s 75% cancerous. He’s 4+3 on the Gleason scale. He had some injections to lower his testosterone and now he’s gonna start radiation. He doesn’t wanna have a prostatectomy because he doesn’t want to leak urine all the time. I’d rather have them urine tell the truth.
@lindamastropietro4429 I am 100% back to pre surgery. Erections and countenance are as before. Just ensure there is a pathway to surgical removal if radiotherapy is ineffective.
Best wishes to you. Unfortunately as we all get on in years stuff happens. As my brother said to me a while ago, getting older is not for the faint of heart. Hopefully you’ve got a few more decades ahead of you.
Yay for you Neil, from me in San Diego, CA!! A close relative was just diagnosed with prostate cancer and has just begun treatment. Your story is what I needed to hear today. Thank you and bottoms up!

Wishing you full recovery. My great uncle beat seemingly impossible odds. With his prostate cancer. He has been in remission for ten years. Wondered if you've ever heard of the American actor Dirk Benedict? From the American TV series "The A-Team." My uncle Jerry said Mr. Benedict has been a prostate cancer survivor for several years. Although, historically, the cancer treatments of that time were somewhat primitive by today's standards. Dirk Benedict was diagnosed with the disease when he was relatively young. He attributes his survival to combining a macrobiotic diet with conventional medical treatments.

Awesome news Neil ! enjoy those well earned Pints. my last PSA test came in at 17 % (previous test was 16 %) had a biopsy last week, just need to wait another week for the lab results
That's great news Neil! My husband has prostate cancer and was told his is a "slow growing" type and he "should not" have any issues with it for 20-30 years. I don't believe them at all. He's had colon masses ( huge ) removed since then and is now waiting on the pathology reports from his new colonoscopy and endoscopy surgeries. For us, the waiting for the pathology reports is the worst part of it. I'm so happy your pathology/PSA levels are clear! From both of us in the USA, CHEERS! Jamie would be having that Pieroni with you.
I've heard that line so many times. If it doesn't come back in 5 years you are cured. My friend survived too, congratulations on that. But it came back in 7 years. Life is life.
