I'm looking at frost seeding clover in the next week or 2 in a recently cleared field. Which would you recommend, prescribe burning prior to seeding, or tilling prior to seeding. The area was sprayed with glyphosate last weekend to kill all green up.
Beau Wilson, i doubled / tripled my seeding rate. .5 acer plot 15lbs red clover 5 lbs white clover. i had clover almost waist high june first. u can hit it with clethodium or 2-4db weather u have grass or broadleaf problem. hope it works. i am positive it will. travis
bill is the man, took his advice on the plot shield it helped me immensely on getting to my stands and in return I killed a nice buck.

When would you place your fertilizer?
Later in the Spring once it is up and growing. Late May to mid June in most areas.
