Agreed. That said, the sound person sucks at their job. Even in the 80s Halford had way more reverb, and even if wasn’t needed, it would’ve sounded so much cooler if there was reverb. Ball dropped here in my irrelevant opinion.
You can hear a lot of Judas Priest influences in kill em all.
The album was a combo of hardcore punk and British new wave metal
All the debuts from the big 4 had Judas Priest influences like Soldiers of Metal from Anthrax or Metal Storm from Slayer

With all due respect. Ronnie James Dio is the number one vocalist in the history of heavy metal. It would put Rob Halford in second place all-time without a doubt. Although everyone's taste is subjective. But Dio is the supreme master.

I recently attended a Judas Priest concert. I just wanted to see Priest w/Halford once in my life, Little did I know that they would blow the roof off the place. An absolutely brilliant concert.
Saw them with Saxon and I never had a better night in my life. I could not believe how good both were and I didn't care how loud it was, I was zoned out in great metal.
Saw them back in like 88. Loud as fuck!!

Ozzys War pigs for me is as relevant today's state of the world and really should be haled as a song of peace.Judas is rising too ... This is close to heart.. Judas Priest, my first experience with metal (Kiss being my first love and entry), together with my confirmation of music taste.. Together it is overwhelming.. And, imagine James, being on stage with God! James and Metallica are huge, love them, and then my two favorites are on stage together.. Fantastic!

Love the way at the end Rob realizes he’s flat, can’t quite pull it up a skoshe so hits the high note. All the while kind of laughing with James as if to say “Ain’t being a singer in a loud band a stinker sometimes?”

it's called TALENT. Rob is one of the best singers out there. It's not piped in, that is him. Check stuff with him live, you will see that he cares enough to give ALL when performing. Always has. Never seen or heard a bad performance by Rob.

Fantastic version of this song. I always felt Priest was a precursor for where bands like Metallica took metal. This is a great example of it. The arrangement on guitar sounds a tad different than the original, and TBH, I like the change.
