Why this wheel doesn’t get more reviews is beyond me!
It’s in my opinion the BEST wheel on the market!
The early problems with cut-outs seemed to have doomed it's potential.
its because it keeps getting pinned against the sherman and sherman fan boys talks negatively about this wheel
@@grb1969 I’ve heard nothing about cut outs on this wheel. You’ve got it mixed up with the Abrams.
@@volooooo must be the overheating and negative fanboy rumors.
I love this wheel.... So far i have been able to push it to 46mph/74kph. I live in a flat terrain city and have been able to get about 60+ miles of hard riding per charge.. The lower pedal make it easy to maneuver... That said I have experienced some overheating but only when the outside temps are above 80F/26c. The Marty cooling Mod helps with the heating issue.
Another great review. Interested to see this teview unfold as my original Sherman that I got from you has nearly 3000 miles on it and may be due for an upgrade! Keep up the good work!
Cheers!
I was looking at a new wheel to add to my collection. I test rode the Sherman and the Commander. I loved how much more nimble the Commander was compared to the Sherman so I bought a Commander.
Nice one, good that you got to test both before buying!
A Marty (CZcams) favourite I think. Nice to be able to ride so many wheels, the perks of the job I guess. I see you are using that cradle stand, I have assembled the one I bought, it's great, no lifting heavy wheels on and off stands :-) Technology fail, at least the wheel works, maybe I'll hold off getting a drone :-) Not convinced on the off-road tyre on the Master when I get it, I'll give it a fair run, we shall see.
I live in CT USA and that 'bumpy road" would be a dream in comparison
looking good
Hey dude, first of all love your videos man they are very entertaining, have you seen the Begode Mten 4 that’s coming out? It looks SO COOL it’s literally like a one wheel and an EUC had a baby. I am so excited for it cause it looks really really fun.
Yes I have, checkout www.speedyfeet.co.uk/collections/electric-unicycle-one-wheel-segway/products/begode-mten4-electric-unicycle
@@Speedyfeetuk I am definitely ordering that it looks so fun, keep up the great work man
Does the commander display report in MPH?
hows the torque on this Hs ? what wheel can you compare the torque with?
How did you find the pedal dip in turns. I had a short ride on one and was caught off guard. But a solid wheel
It would be useful to be able to use the drone as a cell signal booster relay so you could sent it up and get a line-of-site signal while off-grid... but I'm guessing that the centralized control is a safeguard so that all Civil drones can be immobilized for the purposes of Homeland Security during times of popular uprisings.
Sorry if I missed it but was this the HS or HT version and how hot or cool was it running? Good review but w all the high performance suspension wheels coming out, non-suspension wheels are almost outdated especially for same cost.
C30 (High Speed), re suspension wheels, no I dont think so. Ex20s is the wheel that has the same battery capacity, a lovely wheel - but its ~13kg heavier and far more difficult to lift/move around, plus the cost of maintenance (in terms of time and replacement parts) of suspension wheels also has to be considered. I love the Ex20s, but stick a seat on this commander and its a far more usable wheel in a day to day sense (i.e. with lifting in and out of a car/public transport/into the house etc)
The clue is in the title, C30 is the designation for high speed configuration motor, C38 for high torque motors; the difference is the width of the magnets (in millimetres) used within the motor to help deliver the power, I believe.
I sold my Sherman Max for the master, and I'm no longer sure it was the right call... I got surprised once by a huge pothole at 40mph that made me jumped and the wheel kicked my butt as I'm always riding with knees bent. I did not fall, but it made me think suspension was now a necessity. But I don't really like the master that much, huge battery sag, a bit cumbersome, feels not that sturdy... Buyer remorse I guess !
Non suspension wheels still have a future in my opinion.
There certainly do, people tend to see them as progression rather than divergence in use.
I have bought the Master, I have never ridden a Sherman, but we shall see, what we shall see :-)
🤙🏼👀⚡
May I have some help from you to buy a unicycle. India🇮🇳
I always have an airhorn in hand for those damn cars...
Wet sand makes griptape useless...
Didn't know commander has no suspension. I can't imagine spending all that money on a wheel and riding without it
Its not the be all and end all of a wheel, there are pros and cons to each type of wheel. Having ridden no suspension for 8 years I for sure know its not a requirement - but if you have back/knee issues etc certainly helps in that area! (and helps if you want to jump it or live in a pot hole city).
No No, EX20s C38 is what you need to upload.
I like to ride forest trails eating a box of Scooby snack's. Yes people they really do exist. How is it no one knows about this? Some people like fig nutons others it's Oreo cookies. For me? It's Scooby Snack's. People trip out at seeing my EUC BUT really trip out when they see my box of Scooby snack's. And I always open the box and tell them to try one.
The smiles are priceless.
And that's how I ride.
I'm torn,,,,,Ian. I love my Sherman v2, and I bought the Max for the upgrades, Also I have ther ex20sc38 and a Monster pro 2022, The Commander ran hot for Marty Backe, and I have not seen anything more from him on this unit. Thing is these wheels without suspension are I think less things to go wrong, but they seem very point A to B, very utilitarian and for me that's not a bad thing. I just don't understand the Chinese pissing match with these units as if it's some iphone upgrade? They copy basic designs but never really innovate Begode is getting sued now I think by Leaperkim
Marty solved the cooling issue and posted a video about it. Search for "Extreme Bull Commander Cooling Modification" on YT.
Marty has solved the overheating issues. Old news. Go back to his channel you’ll see
@@volooooo I solved my car lacking AC by smashing out the back windows. That's a Marty DIY favorite right there.
@@CrunchyTire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Marty is like that for sure. I think we shouldn’t have to do that kind of stuff considering what we pay.
