It's crazy the fact that Zelda is at the center of all the memories that Link recovered. He doesn't remember anything about his own life or family. She is all that he remembers.
I would say is for the better? Specially with Mipha, imagine that you forgot about someone, that someone died a long and you are just now starting to remember and then you discovered that you love that someone, that you were actually thinking of marrying each other, that she was the love of your life, and now she is gone, as there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. How could you live with yourself after that?
@@hasturthekinginyellow5003 Well, Link wasn't planning on marrying Mipha. She intended to confess to Link, but we don't really know how much he knew about her feelings before the calamity. Some people told Link about Mipha's feelings after he woke up, so he knows.
Actually in the japanes version, the Journal entries are written from the perspective of Link.
And then you'll come to realize how Link Actually thought of the World, and about Mipha.

No he collapsed from his injuries after her power awakened and she murdered the guardians her power didn't effect him. I understand why you thought that though I did too for a moment when I first saw the last memory-
@@canfran6692 No he was clearly standing not that injured when she blasted her holy stuff. Also if you look in game Link is only exhausted for a very short time and this is intentional. Also it’s called Shrine of ressurection and not healing so he was clearly dead.
@@daimondo696 that was just a dumbass theory that is disproven by age of calamity. It protected him that's the whole point. Go watch when it happens in aoc.
He was injured from guardians. Maybe also read creating a champion some time
@@kit76149 It would have been disproven by age of calamity, it age of calamity would have actually happened. It’s an alternative timeline so it literally isn’t canon.

Um… no? He was barely able to stand, stumbling around (which never happens in-game, so he was closer to death than we can bring him to compare), and when she gets between him and the Guardian: you can see him collapse. He was dead already, just holding himself up until he got his heart away from the battlefield. Her power only affects malice, the machinery and other things nearby were totally unaffected. Even the grass wasn’t hurt, so either Link was weaker than grass (and thus: dead anyways) or he wasn’t hurt by the energy (and dead anyways).
