Love the incredibly misaligned lower right dash @ 3:53. GM quality shining through.

Same here for my '60 Bonnie. Red Interior with original Coronado red paint on the outside.

My 63 Bonneville convertible had it's original morokide seat covers. They looked brand new 50 years later! That stuff was seriously TOUGH.

My Dad's first new car was a 1960 Catalina Safari Wagon. Traded it in 65 for a new Safari. I picked up a 60 Bonneville Safari a couple of years back. Its is waiting for resto.

Can someone please explain to me the model order for 1960 Pontiacs. I happen to own a 1960 Ventura Sport Coupe and can't seem to get a handle on where the Ventura stands in the pecking order. My research indicates there were six models for 1960: Catalina, Star Chief, Ventura, Laurentian, Bonneville and Safari - I would like to know the order and (if possible) the values when new. Thanks, Julian.

Bonneville, then Star Chief (long wheelbase) then Ventura and Catalina (short wheelbase). Venturas were hardtops only, I think. Kind of a Pontiac version of a Buick Invicta.
“Safari” was used for their wagons. Laurentian was a Canadian model.

My pap had the 1960 Ventura also, fire engine red, 389 4bbl. It looked like it was rippen' down the road when it was standing still. He always claimed it only had 4in of ground clearance. U have a good question and I'd like to know as well. I loved that car!

My 1965 Catalina had a Ventura interior package which I assume was optional.

Clueless much? It costs money to acquire and scan these films. The poster makes it back by selling stock footage.
