- "Laut Und Hart Stark Und Schnell", (translating into “Loud And Hard Strong And Fast”) is an anthemic mid-tempo hymn in the vein of MANOWAR’s mega hit “Warriors Of The World United” that invites fans to sing along and raise their hands in celebration of their favorite genre and band.
Asked about the meaning of song and title, MANOWAR bassist and songwriter Joey DeMaio explained: "We have the greatest and most passionate fans, all over the world, and we feel deeply honored because of it! This song is a statement to our fans, and to the world, to be proud of the things they care about, regardless what others say.”
“It is no secret that we have a special relationship with Germany.” said DeMaio. “Maybe because it is the birthplace of Richard Wagner, the father of heavy metal. The German fans took us into their hearts faster and in larger numbers than any other nation. They have stayed loyal to us for more than 40 years now! This release is our thank you! We will perform the song on these German shows, and film it, to share these special moments with the world!”
An international edition of the song will be released later this year, along with more new music that DeMaio promised on social media will “shred, burn, crush, and kill like never before.”
Recorded in MANOWAR’s recently completed Asgard Studios New York in immersive sound and written and produced by Joey DeMaio.

Manowar now have so many songs that just list their album titles, that they could record a song which just lists the songs they wrote that list their album titles....
We're at the point where even other bands have started doing that. Listen to Man of War by Sabaton. Even Blood Fire Death by Bathory recycles quite a few Manowar lyrics.

After I ve visited Manowar back in 1995 I was glad to be able to do it again in 2023 Rotterdam. I m surprised by the ongoing quality of their performance. It hasnt been eroded over time. And when they will be in the neighbourhood again I will surely go again; spreading the Word of Metal!

@@robinmartin6699 Nein, weshalb sollte ich? Ich weiß, dass viele es nicht getan haben, weil die Bild sehr fragwürdig ist. Das kann eine amerikanische Band aber nicht wissen. Sie dachten sich vermutlich nur: "Die (bedauerlicherweise) am meisten gelesene Zeitung Deutschlands, okay dann arrangieren wir eine Kooperation für unsere Fans". Das sie damit leider völlig daneben lagen, tut mir unheimlich leid für sie. Es werden wohl deswegen auch kaum Menschen getan haben. Aber ich bin der Auffassung, in diesem Fall hat das eine mit dem anderen nichts zu tun. It's...definitely not been easy being a Manowar fan, has it? It started falling apart after Gods of War for me. I absolutely loved that album! It became my most listened to album for quite some time after it came out. It was divisive among fans for it's instrumental sections, but I absolutely got what they were doing with it. A masterpiece. And what was more, they said it was to be the first of a series of similar albums. Awesome! What's next? Well there was the Thunder in the Sky ep which was supposed to be a taste of what was to come, then...nothing.
2012 we learned that they'd decided to scrap that idea and instead released Lord of Steel, an album with potential, but marred by the production (the bass sounded like constant buzzing. I thought something was wrong with my speakers)! Not terrible, but a far cry from the Gods of War 2 we were waiting for. But OK...what's next?
Well nothing new studio-wise for quite a while, but there was a remake of Kings of Metal which...was not as good. Finally, 2019, a new ep. The Final Battle part 1. Not much to go off but these songs are a bit more like it! Where's part 2?
Part 2 never came. Instead, we got a different ep featuring 2 new tracks and a load of narration...in ancient Greek! Good luck following the story! Who even was that for? And the songs? They...weren't exactly Manowar's golden hour.
Last week, I heard about a new song that had been released, so I looked it up, only to discover you could only hear it if you subscribed to a German online magazine! Are you taking the pi...right! I'll wait and see if it releases normally at some point. Then I noticed today that it had appeared on Spotify. Let's have a listen...is this...a joke? Eric's vocals are on point (that man can't sing a bad note!) but everything else sounds like a parody of Manowar!
In between all of this, we have Joey Demaio seemingly fighting with everyone (concert promoters, other bands, etc...) resulting in cancelled shows, "spoken word tours" with no music, the outright refusal to acknowledge that other countries than Germany exist and would, perhaps, like to see the band live at some point. Do you see my point here?
My suggestion? Crack out the old albums (as I have) and remember the band as they were. Anything up to and including Gods of War will do fine. Hopefully we'll see a return to those glory days at some point, but I'm not going to hold my breath for that. But hey, that's still a lot of albums worth of awesome music to choose from, so we'll always have that.

Lets give them the chance with the new album. I dont think this song will be on it. It sounds like a hastly put together song for the german tour dates. They should definately follow up the gods of war album. With all the equipment they have at their disposal (Valhalla Studios), I think this song is underwhelming also, but a fun song with a couple of beers. Hope that was the intent, and not what is to be expected from the new album.
I thought I was the only one who remembered them saying Gods of War was to be the first in a series of albums, each about the gods of war from different mythologies. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED THEY NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH!!!!!!

Got that right. I love this band so much they have if not one of the best heavy metal singers ever Eric adams can sing anything at 70 years old but come on. Since warriors if the world this band is in continue decline. For example Scott Columbus exit Lord of steel album Final Battle Ep, change of lineups with contract players who do what joey wants them to do with no freedom of speech.Promise of new albums, base a world tour(15 shows) half of them in germany. Promise released Mexico dvd show still waiting. As a die hard fan from Portugal is a shame that i have to spend 10 years each time to see them with the excuse of finding promoters. It will be more polite to tell the fans that they are expensive compare to other bands to play. Nevertheless HAIL AND KILL HAIL TO THE THE KINGS LONG LIVE MANOWAR

This is the band that gave us the definition of epic metal with songs like battle hymn, secrets of steel, bridge of death, mountains, guyana, defender, hail and kill, achilles agony and ecstacy, thor, blood of my enemies and so many other 10/10 songs it is impossible to count. Even the heavy metal anthems were so great, metal daze, army of the immortals, gloves of metal, fighting the world, metal warriors, blood of the kings... i really love all of those songs. Even from the "new" recordings there are gems like sword of the highlands, immortal, touch the sky, born in a grave (lord of steel - awful production) and when manowar announce new material i feel like a little kid again ( i am 42). This song obviously has lame production and the worst lyrics manowar have ever written. It was super cool and clever when it was done with blood of the kings and it was bad when it was done in hail kill and die, now it is just ankward. I like the music, i love the sound of the bass and eric is the supreme being. I will wait for the other songs, i hope the lyrics will have a story to tell.

I am confused here...this song isn't hart, it is pop music with some electric guitar. It isn't schnell, it is midtempo. The loudness depends on the volume you're listening at. The only adjective I am thinking of while listening is "funny". Hail.
