Taken from the EP “Highlights From The Revenge Of Odysseus”
Conceived as a Thank You for the steadfast and passionate support of the Greek Manowarriors, “The Revenge Of Odysseus” is MANOWAR’s take on Homer’s classic tale of the great hero Odysseus and his long and perilous quest to return to his wife and son and protect his home and family.
One of the centerpieces of this project, “Immortal” is a powerful mid-tempo hymn inspired by Odysseus’ escape from the island of Ogygia.
Yet, it is also a hymn to the hero in all of us.
A reminder to stay strong in the face of adversity.
A call to push on, goal in sight.
A testament that those who persevere will be rewarded.

@@MANOWARband During high school in the late 90s it was cassette copy filled with a number your guy's songs. It's what got me into Metal. About wore that thing out...went through a couple Walkman. Play 1 side...flip the tape...play to the end. Rewind & repeat it all over again while riding the bus to & from school. At the time WHEELS OF FIRE was my favorite from the tape. Then later on I discovered WARRIORS OF THE WORLD...which I see as perhaps the Anthem of ALL Metal...
Not to mention the KINGS OF METAL cover has been my pfp everywhere for the last 16 years.

@@user-yw9uz9li9r Thankyou brother. I was just expressing my admiration for Greece and the loyalty to Metal during darker times where it was not 'trendy' elsewhere. I remember buying Iced Earth's 'Alive in Athens' and it was then that I realized that Greece really helped keep true metal alive during some of it's darkest times such as the 90s. The Metal world will always be grateful to your nation for that!

Manowar literally saved my life and helped forge me into the man I am today. Back in the early 90s when I was a teen, I went through some very difficult situations. It was then I discovered Manowar and their music and they have been there for me ever since. Last show in Athens was insane!! Can't wait for the next one! Thank you, it is a privilege to be a Manowarrior!

I take advantage of this video to mourn the loss of a friend, Luiz Gildo, who during his stay in this world had Manowar as his main soundtrack. He founded a fan club and a fanzine dedicated to the band called "Blood of the Kings" and for years helped spread the band to more people. He also did interviews with Joey DeMaio and Eric Adams, and had countless items released by the band, but after an arduous struggle of more than four years against his illness, this warrior fell, but his name will be remembered here on earth for his determination and courage.

Manowar is inmortal forever
My journey into Metal began back in '88 when a friend let me a Kings of Metal cassette. My first Metal concert was on the Triumph of Steel Tour back in '92. My favourite song of all times is Defender, with the mighty voice of Orson Welles. Thanks Manowar for being the soundtrack of my life and still making the best music, very good song. The Gods made Heavy Metal and then they sent us Manowar to Earth to play it.

Very well described. To me it was similar. My first Album was Fighting the World 1988 on a cassette. Then the first Manowar concert in 1989 in Düsseldorf. I will never forget.

Что тут крутого. Просто не могут уже ничего родить не плане текстов не в плане музыки. Песня в принципе неплохая но все это плагиат на самих себя. Один раз послушать и забыть. А потом включит старые шедевры типа Batle gymn, Gyanna,Kill and kill,Power да много было охеренных песен не один десяток. Старые альбомы были хитами с первой и до последней песни.после которых эта жалкая поделка. Сейчас весь настрой клавиши создают.
