    Started rebuilding my swing post cancer surgery last October (2022). Came upon Adam's videos by serendipity. It's been haphazard in terms of piecing all the concepts into a holistic structure. One goes out to the range/course....and something doesn't work. Back to videos and the inevitable aha moments! But it does happen. This information sharing vis wrist position and how to get to it is pure money! For me, in any event, constant wedge pushes to the right suddenly straightened out once fully absorbed. Thank you Adam! Best instruction on the I-Net when it comes to explaining the pieces and how they integrate.

    I like the step by step starting from beginning to end and also when you explain the terms you are using and towards the end when you put the stick from back heel to front toe helps alot

    Awesome vid and exactly what I needed. Full shots with my wedges have a mind of their own at times. Is this guy's trail elbow causing any issues with contact? It kinda looks a little flared too much to me at the top of the backswing. Would telling him to keep his elbows closer together at the top help?

    Does this technique carry over to mid and short irons as well. Seems like I can hit my 6-7 irons fantastic but going into shorter clubs I can’t seem to stop the shank

    If the club head stays outside the hands the entire swing will that cause steep pull or cuts/Toey shots?

    LOL......Adam would kick me off the deck. He would get so frustrated with my ADD. I cannot keep a swing thought in my head. I can practice perfectly, the second I get over a ball, my entire body folds up like a cheap tent. I am 51 and can still take it over 300 when I don't seizure during my backswing. Adam, your instruction is off the charts bro. The backswing pointers are making some good progress for me. Thank you sir.

    This helped my wedge game tremendously. Literally all season I lost any wedge feel where great drives and approach shots just got wiped by shanked wedges. The 45 degree angle at take away and then it being all body with the preset wrist staying put legit works. Thanks for sharing this lesson.

    Should the arms hands and club follow the same backswing path for all clubs as demonstrated for the wedge .

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  Před 2 lety

      Great question! Yes the hands and club will travel on the same path the thing is the lie angle and the set up for every club is different so they will match up with the club you are hitting and be slightly different club to club. i.e. you hit down more on wedge then you do a driver so they would have to be different.

  • @pedrosolermartinez6273

  • @canefan17
    @canefan17 Před 3 lety +4

    There hasn't been a greater tip from Porzak Golf than "set the club to this point and then simply rotate the body up to the top."
    I now feel like my hands and arms are completely done at the set position, and that my body moves everything to the top and back down. Contact and consistency are money now. I do still come in a little steep and play a fade, but I can work on that next.

    Love your videos, my question by swinging to the left does that square the club

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  Před 3 lety

      Great question! Swinging to the left is a result of rotating with the body through the golf shot. The club squaring up based on this rotation is a result of the arms being in front of the body Rotation. When sequenced correctly with the arms in front of the body rotation then yes the body rotation squares the club face.

    I hate full wedges. I hit my 52 56 and 60 the same distance. They’re all between 60 and 80 yards. Then my p wedge goes 140. It’s so frustrating
