Very good information here. Been coming to Estes Park since 1949. Will stop by your gallery this fall.

It shows a picture of Salt Lake City when you show Denver.

Thank you for pointing that out. This is the only photo I've ever licensed for CZcams as I never get down there. Ugh!. Unfortunately, CZcams doesn't allow me to edit a video after it is posted. How embarrassing!

For anyone who opts to take medication to prevent altitude sickness, make sure to ask your doctor if those meds will act as an anti diuretic since this will also cause you to dehydrate faster and need to use the restroom more frequently

Good recommendations, Erik! I've had altitude sickness only once on a hike and I never want it again! I headed back down and I was fine by the next day. In addition to staying hydrated, I like to keep some healthy snacks to munch on. Having a little something in my stomach really helps.

Hi Erik, I made a small video showing my Desktop wallpaper as your picture, "Snow Morning in Estes Park," with flashing USB lights wrapped around it. Please look and see if you like it! (Or if you want it taken down, just tell me.) Love your photography and your channel. :)

Im from Sweden, i have RMNP on my bucket list. I live at 30 meters of elevation. How many days do i have to wait before going on the Trail ridge road

I would recommend a day near Denver then a day in Estes Park before driving up to the top of Trail Ridge Road.
