proud to own one! truly one of the most gorgeous, feature loaded and value for money cars on the road in India in the entry level luxury segment.
Due to the tax benefits, this is a car which sells for the same price as it does overseas, unlike other luxury cars.
the BMW X1, which is 12 lakhs more expensive than the IONIQ 5 in india sells for cheaper than the I5 in foreign markets!
Makes us realise that how overpriced, overrated and overhyped the Germans are in the Indian market.

The boot does not open as the car needs to be locked. It works based on the rear radar, so only standing there will open the boot without any kicking.

Forget about Nexon EV. They will launch Harrier EV by January 2024 which will be equipped with AWD and 600km+ ARAI range and will be priced under 35 lakhs for top model. It will be 10 lakhs cheaper than Ioniq 5. Nexon EV is the last thing Tata haters need to worry about🤫

i have been following you for a long time one suggestion from me is use some time sensing machine like in carwow youtube channel so we would know about performance of budget cars since there is not any clear information of 0-100 time for most popular budget cars sold in India and also time in gear acceleration

Correction at 30.04. 2023 Indian Ioniq 5 does come with battery preconditioning.
How is its rear seat comfort compared to Tucson (supposedly having one of the best ride comforts, comparable to Merc S class)? Also, if I throw in the latest gen, soon-to-be-launched in India Kia Carnival (that also has Ottoman seats in second row), how then do the three cars compare if your parents have to sit in the second row?
The misses in Ioniq 5: Rear seat cold ventilation, rear seat one touch up down windows, no space saver tire, no AWD, ground clearance could have been 10-20 mm more, higher spec EV motors (77.4 kWh and 84 kWh).
Personally feels great in rear seat amazing suspension ,in comparison to Tucson it feels at par , I've only sat and driven Tucson and ioniq not carnival so can't exactly say how's experience on that but
comparing with carnival isn't best since it's not same size and segment as carnival is too big plus U buy carnival for rear seat experience , and ioniq for driving pleasure , range and comfort.
Dont know driving have no money to buy but still watching 😅😅😅 vote here

There's no advantage whatsoever at all. All it can do is give a couple of memory seat options... Apart from that nothing...
The motor is the first one to break and trust me, it breaks down within t one year of the expiry of the warranty period

IONiQ 5 and EV 6 both shares same platforms... but the only difference is range and the performance.. when comparing these both..i think BYD atto 3 is far better in terms of reliability, build and their interior design is timeless...they just made many people to turn their head.
