I still have my lancer 2009 model to this day and it's running so well, exept for AC compressor that lately replaced it after 15 yrs. i love this car. it's heavy car, very stable on the highway even at 140km/hr speed.

My grandfather baught a 2.0 L in 2009 and now its gonna be my car at the end of the year. In all the years we have never had a single problem with the car. Its honestly amazing and i was thinking on doing an engine swap with a 4g63t but i dont know if it would work? If anyone knows please let me know.

What is that traansmission? In europe never seen lancer with automatic like that what would have additional 1/2/3. Just standard cvt with P/R/N/D and sequetional.
Fighting with my self - buy or not to buy lancer. Amazing car from outside, interior is in my style as well but engines... In UK strongest are 1.8 petrol 143bhp or diesel 138 bhp. Its a drama, that the only one petrol turbo engines they give to ralli or evo. Not surprised that they didnt sell too many lancers.
