  • @BBnose
    @BBnose Před 2 lety +1

    1:37 the remote control Beoremote One can control the Beosound Stage. Furthermore when using LG C9 or some new compatible LG tv models. Beoremote One can fully control both the TV and Beosound Stage. This allows you to have the full Bang & Olufsen experience including MyButtons, direct access to the sound modes, TV and audio sources.

    Bought one and wasn't impressed for such a price. Lacklustre and dull was my partners response and she wasn't far off. The components inside are so poor and cheap. I had to replace one of the drivers and was shocked with the build quality. There's much better for a lot less money. I sold mine and couldn't wait to get rid.

      I had one and got rid and bought the B&W Panorama 3 and have never looked back. I also had a Sonos Arc and whilst good it isn’t as real sounding as the panorama 3. B&O is a style product and not for enthusiast’s.

    Upmix should always be off as it’s for stereo content only to upmix to surround, if u have settings all wrong it doesn’t sound good, to be honest B&o should make it easier to understand

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 2 lety

      If you read the manual, the segment I put in - if upmix is on, and the content is more than stereo, the upmix setting won't do anything.

    Do u feel the beosound stage can be placed on a platform that has a “ceiling” on top, like a slot for sound bar

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 6 měsíci

      No, you don't want to place any soundbar with upward firing speakers in a cabinet or 'slot'.

    I have the Beosound Stage I also have upstairs a Samsung sound bar
    Sure the Samsung was slightly less than half price of the stage however the BnO is a much more solid unit and it simply sounds far superior to the Samsung .I remember watching a disaster movie and a guy rides on a Harley the exhaust chugged in my living room it’s excellent sound quality as you’d expect from BnO . It’s very well made with premium materials and like BnO kit it’s built to last a long long time . My criticism of it would be that I wish BnO would have a led it to connect to other speakers and or a subwoofer. I tried doing so by WiFi and Bluetooth as there is no scope to do so by wired connections but it simply is a stand alone soundbar . I connected mine to a BnO tv pole stand where a LG TV is mounted on and it looks impressive. I am happy with the product and I have quite a bit of BnO kit but adding additional speakers would have been welcome.

    A very good review but I think maybe missed the point of what it actually is 🤷 my brother has this in his bedroom, and it is excellent for one speaker and it looks grate on the wall under the TV, I do agree that for the money u could get better low end and sound stage, but honestly u will never beat a separate sub or rear speakers, if a clean look is what u want and a one peace speaker, I personally haven't heard one better as a one peace unit, and that is including all the big names, is worth the money I'd say yes, if u want the best one peace unit out there that looks excellent expensive and premium, however if a good one will do u, you could pay 1/2 the amount for the bar and would be happy with its performance, of course u get a separate system for that money and destroy the lot em 🤣 but then u won't want a sound bar

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 2 lety +1

      It was mentioned in the review, as a single speaker setup. But yet, I'd never imagine this speaker in a bedroom - would be wasted in such a room - unless your bedroom is the size of a living room?
      Equally, you'd not have this in a living room unless you wanted a clean, single setup speaker, as you and I have said, there are soundbar setups that trump it.

    • @andrewpattie358
      @andrewpattie358 Před 2 lety

      @@TotallydubbedHD it's a far size room but I guess it depends on what u call a large room 🤷🤣 me personally im not sure i would have it as my main system but i don't mind a sub on show or rear speakers however it is very good considering what it is and the way it looks

  • @ozcanpaso2977

    Price aside how good is it for a single speaker setup? I have the Sonos beam gen 2 currently & it surprises me a lot. This must be 10 fold that taken into consideration how much bigger it is.. Also as I understand the bass is much better when it’s direct to the listener & against the wall.

    Listen to everything on none mode as it’s better for all content, movies and music. Virtualise is surround on and off so for music always off, upmix always off, LFE always on, the bass is epic on none mode, if U use music or movie mode bass is reduced, oh yeah wall mount it, this soundbar isn’t actually phased by anything you put through it and it’s dynamic and timed with bass mid and treble

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Před 2 lety

      It isn't though, especially if you want to fill sound in a room, while you have only a stereo input (ie watching TV or CZcams).

    • @zahirmulla6715
      @zahirmulla6715 Před 2 lety +1

      @@TotallydubbedHD it does fill the room with sound even without upmix, on a wall the room is layered with instruments in just stereo as well even in a larger than average room. You won’t get fake surround but detailed audio that will fill the room, don’t use music or any preset, only the none mode which is correct without alteration and loss of how it should sound

      @@TotallydubbedHD So many things...
      first is that I can't tell the volume unless I'm using the app,
      then sometimes it takes a minute for it to turn on after the TV ( it seems that it waits for something to make sound )
      and sometimes I have to turn off and on the TV for it to work ( I can also use the app to turn the sounder on ),
      if someone decides to stream music while I watch TV the TV will turn off,
      also sometime it will randomly send OFF signals to the TV for no reason, I still have no clue why it happens.
      It CANT work with other speakers for more immersive sound experience,
      The mounting gear is not very good for mounting on a pole, it requires some spacial hardware to make it work and I need to wedge something there to make it straight.
      The app doesn't tell any information about source, no quality bitrate, nothing.
      I really don't understand why they didn't add Optical connection... so cheap of them.
      I really wish it just went with something else
