Good for Bratislava. Battery-aided trolleybuses are the coolest buses, they should be everywhere
Bravo, Bratislava! Maybe Vancouver can get busses like these.
That will be great! They will suit Vancouver very much!
I think, this also gives an interesting starting point to build a new trolley bus network: battery operated busses, which can be charged "on the fly" and you only need to electrify the main corridors at the beginning.
Exactly!
I love these news updates so much! You're doing a great job, thank you! 🙏🙌👏
Thank you, I appreciate it.
We all love a good trolleybus system!
2:40 Okay so, they cost 940'000€ per unit. Could you please tell me how much the other similar 24 meter buses costs? namely the Van Hool exquicity 24 and Hess 24? I can't find the price online...
For example here - 12 Hess for Lausanne 1.2 mln euro pet unit.
Improve your googling:D

I advice you to not use the term “Eastern Europe” for countries like Czechia, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia & go with Central Europe instead. Term “EE” is considered pejorative (for obvious reasons) and is based on Cold War logic, which is long gone. Best regards.
Thanks for pointing it out!
I am from Slovakia and I say, don't listen to this comment. Call us Eastern Europe. More and more countries want to disassociate themselves from the east but I embrace it and it is absolutely OK to call us eastern Europe. We love our eastern European brothers and sisters
02:15 Voiceover says "fifteen", number shown "50".
I apologize, my diction is far from perfect, which is why I duplicate such information on the screen. Eventually, the next screen tells you which number is correct.
At the same time municipal transport company in Lviv (Ukraine) was unable to support in working state 2-sections trolleybuses and buses and just refused to repair them as soon as that was required. Just two different worlds.
That's sad...
A lot of post-Soviet non-EU countries really struggle to maintain their transport systems outside the most important cities. A lack of money, lack of care and lack of vision seem to dominate these operations.
Unfortunately, they are out of order most of the time. It is a tax for a brand new type of vehicle but as of now half of them needed to be temporarily replaced by regular trolley buses in Bratislava and I have heard that you can barely see any working vehicle of this kind in Prague. Hopefully, this is just a small hiccup in the grand scheme of things as Bratislava is slowly electrifying a significant part of its public transportation system (trolleys and trams).
How many such trolleybuses are there in the city now?
00:51 looks like zelensky x elon
That's Martin Rybanský, CEO of DPB (left) and Matúš Vallo, mayor of Bratislava (right)
Haha, you are right, never thought of this
Eastern Europe 💀💀💀
