Please keep posting these unseen videos of Charlie. Watching him being such a noblr personality always melts my heart. I love you, Charile.

Fascinating, funny & historic. I have to remind myself that this film is 99 years old - at the time of writing this. Yet there is a freshness to it that that's as clear as if it had all just happened. Maybe that's a reflection of the energy & creative genius of Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks & D.W. Griffith. As for Charlie: Whenever I watch any of his films, I am still in awe of his acting, writing, producing, directing & composing. He is for me, one of the greatest film makers of all time.

Chaplin started his film career in 1914. Within the next 5 short years he was the most famous person in the world, built his own physical studio and cofounded United Artists. The speed in which he ascended to the top astounds me. He wasn't perfect, but considering his paltry beginnings he handled it all quite well.

also Mary Pickford was the most famous woman at the time and she made more money than Chaplin, I love both icons

He was definitely “genial”!!! And so entertaining even when he wasn’t working, as long as he was with people, he entertained…

Chaplin was left handed but he was trained to write with his right hand

102 years ago, these people founded a company. They wouldn't know that it would last this long, and I am sure they had no clue it would have such a turbulent history. Its quite an interesting story, I highly recommend you read up on it if you haven't got the essentials about it.

Charlie Chaplin on the very first stage that he wants to be on the TOP as gestures showed what his intention to put him on the top above them must have been his real intentions although in this footage it was just for FUN but for Charlie this is the REAL THING in LIFE.

Does the company still exist today and are the Chaplin family members still shareholders?
