  • In this tutorial for Revit I demonstrate how to create suspended baffle ceiling in Revit using Roof tool. We create baffle ceiling with non-rectangular shape. This method enables you to create baffle system in any shape. We also set up baffle profile as well as distance between baffles. We set up the material of baffle ceiling system. This tutorial is applicable for Revit and Revit LT.

Thank you! I used to do it with an array of generic model buffles that are stretchable. After creating an array I was ungrouping the baffles that I wanted to stretch somehow. That way you presented seems to be waaay easier:)

Yes, there are many ways to do this. The more ways you know, the better for you, because you can choose which one suits the situation the most.

Thank you very much, this is a great way to do this kind of ceiling, but I have a question, how can you know the area of this ceiling and even more, could you take that information in a Schedules/Quantities?

Hi, I am not sure what the best way to calculate area of such a ceiling is, because Revit does not show area of roofs created as a sloped glazing type.
