Thanks for sharing. I have the R/T's at 40k now and will be looking at maybe these in the near future. But, the OC R/T's (37x12.5r18) are beasts... just may go with them again.
Man, this is the first video I’ve seen that you’ve produced (I’ve decided to buy these tires, and I’ve been watching every review I can as part of my decision making process). I didn’t realize you were in a chair at first. You’re positively inspiring, man. You must have mad upper body strength enabling you to get in and out of your 4Runner! Keep doing your thing! I just subbed. Take care, brother.
Really appreciate the kind words and I'm glad you ended up buying the Toyos! Thanks for the sub!
@@fotomotoxxiii I got them and love them. My 80 Series is a beast now.
@Queensizemusic I love 80 series! My lady is looking for one or 100 series. She's leaning towards 100 though.
@@fotomotoxxiii she will love either of them. The 100 might be a wee more comfortable, but the 80’s are the perfect combo of comfort and off-road capability! If gets an 80, she should be very diligent about making sure there is a comprehensive service history just because of their age. :-)
@@Queensizemusic most definitely!
What an amazing day- much more than a tire review- but this sealed the deal on my next set for my JKU. Good times fellas.
Awesome glad you enjoyed it and you’ll love the tires 🍻
Great video - glad you and Jose got out. Looks like your rig did very well! Did you have any flashbacks when you went right at 'Option A or Option B?" Hope not!
Not sure if I missed it in the video, but how do these tires do in the rain? I do a decent amount of highway driving, and the rain gets pretty violent sometimes.
I have yet to drive them in pouring rain but I did drive them on wet roads and they're great. I'll report when it rains next as I'm in socal and it doesn't rain much here.
Great video.i just liked the video and subscribed. 0:15 I was searching for feedback on how those tires perform. What width rims do you have? I’m thinking of putting that exact same size on factory square body steel wheels and I don’t know if they will bulge too much on my rims
Thank you I believe they’re 8 inches wide. I’m still extremely happy with the tires and their performance they ride so smooth after breaking in some.
I built my own air down system using a yt video. They’re easy to make and All parts I bought off Amazon
How’s the tread wear on these? Going back and forth between these and the Baja Boss ATs in a 37 for my Gladiator. I gotta get 45-50k out of them before replacing.
So far so good! No wear at all after several wheeling trips and decent road trip miles
@@fotomotoxxiii just picked them up in 37x12.50r17 for my Gladiator. Got em yesterday, so far very smooth and better fuel economy. Can’t wait to take them in the dirt 👍🏻
How are these a/t trails doing in the cold weather? Do they slip on the roads? I heard nitto and toyo are sister companies. The nittos does bad in the r/t tire because tire gets a better in hotter climate.
Absolutely amazing zero slip I was concerned about that but it’s not an issue what so ever.
Which Falken Wildpeaks did you have previously? AT? MT? RT?
At3w
Man I'm soooooooo indecisive about these or the AT4W's 😱😱😱Im not an offroader at all but wouldn't mind hitting up a few trails I have a 2012 TRD sport 4x4 in manual and I need tires bad, but unsure which ones, I love the look of these too, and I need to make a decision by next weekend, help meeeeeee!!!! 😭😭😂😂😂😂😂
If you’re going to choose
Toyo RT Trail or Falken Wildpeak At3w? For a pickup truck
If it's only use is on road and some dirt roads then wildpeak is just fine. Be sure to have them road force balanced though as regular balancing will leave them shaky. Toyo is better suited for more offroad use as they're more expensive and more aggressive
how have they performed in the rain and wet roads in general?
Excellent absolutely excellent!
Where is this trail at again?
Corral canyon ohv in socal
