going to a restaurant must be a letdown for you two!! you are so delightful and your recipes are inspiring and I will give some a try
I just made the Mississippi Pot Roast for the first time ever a few weeks ago, and I made a big one with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots as sides. It was DELICIOUS! But for the leftovers we made French Dips on steak rolls for dinner another night, with provolone cheese and sautéed mushrooms and onions, with the warm broth as dip sauce. My 22 year old son never spoke a single word while he was eating! This is gonna be on regular rotation at our house!
Growing up in the 70's & 80's, we didn't have AC in the house. So for me Crock-Pot season is all year long. We used it all summer because we didn't want to heat up the house with the oven.
You guys are just the sweetest couple💗 love it! Excited to try out your recipes.
I buy a full size Roast and divide it up and freeze leftovers. Then on a night when I don’t feel like cooking I have my own homemade TV dinner. It helps stretch my food budget and it saves on food waste.
Crock aPot Chuck Roast us the Best! I put mine on a layer of sliced onions top with fresh Mushrooms and pour over a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup, thinned out with a little milk. You want it pourable, but not too liquify or think. I serve it for Christmas dinner with Mashed Pitatoes and a Green Vegetable! So good.
When you come out with your cookbook please add crockpot recipes. Can't wait to try these recipes. Everything sounds so delicious. I'm over here drooling by just looking at the thumbnail picture.
Yes, please!
I totally agree !!!
I absolutely LOVE crockpot recipes!! ❤
The recipes are in the description box. You don't have to wait for a cookbook 😂
I love everything i have made from ypu- so, JESSICA!!! Ypu know you aren’t supposed to put potatos in to boiling water! Folks, ALWAYS start w non hot water! 😘😊
I love the baby LeSeur canned peas. Especially with mashed potatoes and gravy. Loving your recipes and y’all laughing. Thank you!
Mom used to 'pay extra', for LeSeur, back in the day. She swore by LeSeur green peas and also, their asparagus.
@@rokigirl2590 LeSeur canned petite peas is what I was raised on, too! I didn't get much fresh veggies.
LeSeur green beans are good too!
me too they are one of my favorite!!
Yes, yes, yes...we add a dash of garlic and onion in ours.
Truth...i've been using my slow cookers a lot this summer, just to keep the kitchen cooler and avoid kitchen mess. I am so ready for fall and these recipes look real good!
I love canned peas with mashed potatoes and gravy! I’d rather have the canned than frozen!
YES, I used to love canned peas, but my mom creamed them! They were delicious, but now that I’m grown, I prefer peas frozen. They taste like home grown!
Yes-especially if you can find the tiny baby peas. Yum.
Hey hey ....I love me some good crockpot recipes and these are right up my alley ❤❤. Thanks for staring!
A funny story about the Mississippi roast: a couple of years ago when I was living in an apartment and making this for dinner, I got a knock on the door from a maintenance guy. He said he could smell it outside and it smelled too delicious and had to know what it was. I shared the recipe and gave him a spare packet of Au Jus mix. It made my day.
Awww how neat! It is sure is delicious 😋 Thanks for watching and we hope you have a great week! 🥰
All of these recipes look so good! And I LOVE the little green peas! My mother used to tell me that I was the only child in the world that loved them! I was the only one in the house that would eat them. 🙂
When I was a child I loved 'em, still do.
Just a suggestion, it is just me and my son at home so I cook for two as well. I also half recipes But a lot of food like pot roast or soups that have been cooked already can be frozen. I always make a whole pot roast and I freeze the other half juice and all. They are just as good the next time you eat it, I will use a Ziploc freezer bag or I have a vacuum sealer.
So I've been watching this video for a couple of weeks bc we were getting ready for vacation. I bought everything ready to make it when we got home. Today was day one at home and we made the creamy chicken and rice. It was to die for! Seriously we couldn't get enough. Even our furbaby (8 months old) couldn't get enough. Definitely making this again and again! Thank you both so much. You're my kind of beautiful people ❤️
I made the Creamy Slow Chicken for me and my husband. He is a picky eater, so I was hesitant, but I made it. It was so HELLA good. My husband loved it! Both of you are the cutest couple. May God Bless.😍🤩
I like it when you “👀” eye 🏀ball the ingredients ➕plus put your own 💃🏼spin on a recipe. And if you don’t have everything it’s call for you use whatever substitution ingredient you have on 🤚🏽 hand. I’m here for that 👌🏾🤣
Absolutely ❤💯
🙌🏻🥰
Cannot wait to try these recipes! Let me rephrase that, I cannot wait to make them! World's picky-est eater here, but my husband will love them! I've made the Mississippi Chicken & he liked it better than Mississippi Pot Roast & he loved the Roast Beef Sandwiches! Tip...when you're shopping for a Roast for just the two of you, ask them in the Meat Dept. to cut it in half or thirds, I don't eat it, so it's hard to find one tiny one! They will wrap them separately & then all together with the price, freeze the rest! Every store I have asked has done this for me. Love your channel!!
Love these recipes! I did smile at the “white” chicken chili that’s not white. 😀
That Mississippi Chicken Recipe ya’ll put out is the best crockpot chicken I’ve ever had in my life .10/10 ! My pregnant wife and I came home starving, and it 100% satisfied both my wifey and the baby’s hunger! If ya’ll that follow her haven’t tried it go out and getcha some!
If the roast is large, just cut it in half and freeze the other half. I find that is usually cheaper and you have an extra roast for another dinner! Love these recipes! Thank you! 🥰🙏😎💕
YES! THIS!!! We do this with brisket too, and it saves us so much money
That’s what I do too!😊
@@samanthashea6359😂 ex❤ 3:36 year old ❤
😂 Your laugh after "mutter" had me rolling!!! Thank you! When your cookbook comes out... whew!! I am so excited!!!
I loved canned peas with mashed potatoes. I've never seen anyone cook them like I do. I cook them with butter, Brown sugar and minced up onion. So freaking good!
I love peas only I put ketchup on them
I actually love the canned sweet early green peas- yum!
The pasta with wild wing sauce looks delicious,I make it with shrimp really quick and easy.all the recipes look delicious 😋❤
I love your substitution of Smoked Gouda for Kraft Singles. 😂 No one could ever accuse you of being pretentious and that's why people love you.
I’m
Everything looks delicious!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes with us. Give Daisy Mae a hug and kiss. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday.
My girls & 16 month old granddaughter LOVE the chicken & rice recipe. I change it up every single time though. The cheddar broccoli rice mix with 1 can broccoli cheese/cream of broccoli/cream of chicken w/ herbs (any combo you like) is probably our favorite. I’ve also used 1 pack garlic & herb with 1 pack chicken broccoli plus any combo of soups. You get my point. It makes the flavor incredible & slightly different each time!!
I love peas, but they have to be the frozen ones, with some butter and salt. All of these recipes look sooo good! I cannot wait to try these all! Thank you so much for sharing 😁❤
When I come home and just need to relax and unwind I love to turn y’all on! It’s so easy to watch you two ❤! Thanks for being you and sharing your story!
Yes love green peas I add sugar and butter and boil them dry then eat with mashed potatoes the sweet and savory 😋 😊
I absolutely LOVE can peas i can eat them straight out of the can even cold. My mom always made tuna casserole when i was little and she would have the cream mushroom soup, peas, and tuna all mixed waiting for pasta to he done cooking. She would come in kitchen and catch me eating the peas out of it stone cold all the time. Im now 53 and i still do it. Just found your channel and i hit the subscribe and all notifications button cause i love to find new recipes to try! ❤

Mine too!
Love all these recipes and I can’t wait to try them out!!!!
Canned peas are one of my favorite canned vegetables. I like the creamy/mushy texture. To me it makes frozen peas taste mealy by comparison.
I love canned LeSeur baby green peas. Especially with mashed potatoes💞I love watching your channel. You both are so cute and fun to watch💞
I cant wait to try! Drooled the whole time!
I love all these recipes and I love using my crockpot over the summer when we are so busy and it’s too hot to cook! And I forgot about that chicken chili recipe! It was a recipe from Rachel Ray YEARS ago. It’s so simple yet so delicious and I always forget about it. Thanks for some delicious ideas. 😊
I love them all they look amazing
Thanks for doing all the research! new fun recipes and all the great suggestions ❤
Love,Love,Love the nice calming back round music !!!!!!!!
I absolutely love the Better than Boulion products! My favorite bones are Chicken and Beef. No more wasting unused stock, easier to store, Love it.
My late grandmother use to put her leftover beef and chicken broth into an ice tray freeze then pop them out and put them in a labeled bag then put them back into the freezer.
That creamy chicken rigatoni looks so good! I do like the Lipton mix so I’d be interested in trying it either way.
I love all of these recipes!! And I LOVE LaSeuer tiny peas 🫛 so good. I make them like my MIL always made them, she was a fabulous cook from Louisiana!
Oh gosh Jessica.. all these are mouth watering!!! Yum !!!
sooo goood😍
Canned peas were my family’s favorites. The secret is to add sugar and butter and cook them until a lot of the juice is cooked and evaporated . DELICIOUS!
I’m really looking forward to trying these recipes! I think your mom’s white chicken chili would be really good in a bread bowl or on a baked potato. Thanks for these great recipes!
Yes...they all looked so delicious. Thank you guys for sharing with us.
Charred gives the bun flavor. Just like a charred tortilla, my favorite!
I can’t wait to cook all of these!
This is my first time watching your videos and I love y’all already! Definitely trying your recipes!! ❤
Yum looks absolutely delicious must try tyfs ❤
An awesome video, thanks ❤️❤️❤️
That looks so good, Jessica, take a can of please put it in your pot. Do not drain it, take a little flower and a little milk and mix it up and pour it in there and just keep stirring it. And it will thicken and peas are good that way. They're called cream peas love you guys❤❤
You're a testament to young couples. Love the way you all treat each other. And thoroughly enjoyed 👀 your Fam.❤❤❤❤❤
Thxs for allowing us in you lives. Blessings to the Bunkeys.
All look fabulous

Oh my. I love my crockpot and these recipes are amazing. Especially like the chicken pasta and broccoli. I will need to try to make your mom’s chicken chili this fall once it gets cooler. Right now it is still 90 in south central Pennsylvania. Love your channel. Hello Daisy.
Every time I see your old kitchen, I get so nostalgic❤. Love u guys!
Oh my gosh Jessica these recipes look so amazing!😍 Such wonderful flavors and different textures with chicken and beef!😋
Actually now is a great time for crockpot meals, it's so hot and no one wants to heat up the kitchen!🥵 It was only 105° the other day, finally a little reprieve!😉
Did you know that you can use the meat masher/chopper after the chicken is done? It will break up the chicken nicely.
My mom would always buy LeSeur peas to make pea salad. I don't usually buy canned peas, I usually buy frozen. I like them cooked with carrots! But it's a must to have mashed potatoes with peas, they stick the potatoes instead of rolling off your fork!☺️
I created a Spanish chicken and rice dish that started with a package of Spanish rice mix. It was a recipe from Uncle Ben's rice and I made it into a meal. Through the years I kept adding more things to make a hearty meal.
I've actually made it with ground meat and a version with chicken. It even has Rotel and of course cheese. It was originally a hearty Spanish rice recipe with ground beef. I've made it both ways and they're equally delicious!
It's not a crockpot recipe but I can convert it to one if you're interested. I have the recipes printed so I can tell you all the things I've added over the years.
It started out as a simple recipe and now it could feed a crowd. But it's so tasty and the leftovers are great! A lot of the ingredients are shelf staple so it's quick to put together. And Mexican cornbread is great with it! I can share that recipe too!
There are so many great chicken recipes and you just made quite a few! I just love it when you give us such great recipes!🤤 But you always make me hungry! 😋
I also think it's about time for another great dessert! You really leave us drooling!😚
I used to make lots of lunches to take to work. The crockpot and electric pressure cooker were my favorite appliances to use. You don't even need to brown ground meat before putting in the crockpot. It cooks wonderfully in the crockpot. I used to take a 5lb package of ground meat and put the whole thing in the crockpot. After it was completely cooked, I divided it for different dishes. You can also add frozen meat to the crockpot to cook. Same with the pressure cooker, I've cooked a whole frozen chicken in it!
I love when you cook for us! I just wish I was there to taste!😁
Thanks for sharing another wonderful group of recipes!🥰
I’ve already tried two of these and I’m going to try another Monday! That first one was so good!
Love these new recipes ❤
I am so with you on the mississippi chicken. So good. We have been working outside at my moms house every afternoon. I love coming home to dinner. We even use the small crockpots for sides.
I love the young green peas a butter and salt & pepper
Thanks for sharing. Will be trying these, they all looks amazing
All these dishes look so yummy 😋 ❤
I always get a big roast .. I make it and take it and portion it out to where I can put some back into the freezer in a couple meal size portions and that way when I’m sick or just don’t feel like cooking a meal I can take one of the portions out and have an already done meal to just put together a meal out of it without much effort at all .. so basically cook once and have several meals out of it as you need them..
I wish my hubby would help me in the kitchen ..I think it would be a lot of fun but he always enjoys what I make so I’m lucky that he is easy to please .. so I feel Blessed in that and we do other things together and enjoy and have fun being together so that’s what matters !
I always enjoy watching y’all cause y’all are the sweetest couple very respectful and kind to one another and the world needs to see that kind of relationship..It may be that y’all are an example to others where there is no one else in their life that shows such an example to them .
I love Daisy Mae ! She is such an adorable sweet dog …I have chihuahuas and they are adorable too … yes I’m partial to them lol I’ve had them many years from their birth to now and a few of them are now going blind because of their old age but I take good care of them and they are my lap babies.. and when they go out to potty I put their little plastic hoodies on them to protect them .. but they still enjoy life and are healthy otherwise to being blind ..
Speaking of green peas .. my Grandma and Mom made creamed peas .. by taking some butter and flour and cooking it together then adding in the can of green peas liquid and all .. they were pretty good and I grew up eating them to this day only now I make them that way occasionally for my family to eat ..
Stay well and Be Blessed and Thanks for all the hard work y’all put into your channel .Blessings 💕
Great video thanks 😊
