Many people asked for it…..so here it is. Apologies for the terrible sound quality. It’s so loud that it distorted and muffled my microphone haha. It’s all I have right now but I’ll make a much better one in the summer!
More information in the video description.
Thanks for watching and happy motoring!

Very hard to get a decent recording Rick, I've tried phone, go pro and a proper external mic, none of them do justice lol..

    It sounds lovely Rick 👍🏻
I hear what you’re saying about the Wizard exhaust, on videos they do tend to sound tinny/raspy so it makes it hard to judge haha. They definitely do sound better in person that’s for sure, still in two minds whether to quieten mine down at the moment videos don’t quite do volume justice either 😂

It’s a tough one. If you make it quieter you may loose some popping and gargling 😂. Maybe a small silencer box could be fabricated in such a way that it can easily be bolted in and out as required depending on your mood. That’s what I did with mine. It doesn’t look the best but it’s adaptable 👍🏼

@@_RicksGarage that’s my thoughts exactly! I’ll have to see what I can come up with, hopefully I can keep the sound exactly the way it is just slightly quieter 🤞🏻

Respectable sound on your GTV Rick👍 I wonder is it very loud on the highway / motorway driving? With original I think mine is just a bit too silent but don't want to go too loud either.

      Hello Sir 👋🏼.
Yes mine is quite loud BUT you wouldn’t be disappointed with a standard Cybox system over a factory exhaust. The Cybox system out of the box sounds fantastic. Certainly not quiet but also not too loud or obnoxious. It isn’t intrusive and it doesn’t drone on the motorway either. The Cybox system is a happy medium

Nice. Wizrd certainly does some nice stuff. I was there when he first started making them and offering on the Alfa forums.
Doesn't he make a complete system for your car?

    • @_RicksGarage
      @_RicksGarage  Před 2 lety +1

He does but it’s too raspy for my liking, BUT, I’ve only ever heard them on video. I’ve never heard one in person.
It comes down to personal preference I suppose. Personally I didn’t want excessive rasp but I did want some gargling. I also still wanted it to have depth. You can’t hear the depth through this video unfortunately but it’s definitely still there. Overall it’s exactly what I wanted. Maybe in the future I could be swayed into a full Wizard system when I hear one with my own ears. His workmanship is absolutely superb it has to be said

Totally get it. Always listen to any modifications that affect sound with your own ears. Even get a ride in one to make sure there's no drone at certain speeds you normally travel at.
Very jealous of your GTV. Can't wait to get my 156 2.0TS out of storage and back on the road.

@@_RicksGarage i have wizard without mid silencer and I can confirm that it's very raspy, especially on full throttle, I'm waiting for the mid silencer and will see how that changes the sound, urs is pretty much what I'm after as well..👍 nice sound

@@constantinuncu7361 thank you Sir. I wasn’t sure about posting it if I’m honest because it doesn’t do it justice at all. It sounds muffled and distorted but it still gives a good indication of what it sounds like. Just imagine it with without distortion and with more base, depth and volume…….that’s pretty much how it is in real life
