This man inspired a generation to draw. To train to build muscle to love the process of getting better to want to be the hero. His influence is so far reaching, and we all owe him a great debt rest in power master.
He lived a great life that impacted lots of people. Rest in peace Akira Toriyama.

Akira Toriyama is my favourite mangaka, his style, coloring, inking, and design is just absolute monstrous and cool. It's depressing that he died from subdural hematoma/subdural hemorrhage, may you be remembered for centuries, you are the very brilliant in making mangas.
Akiras untimely Death brought me here once more in order to honor the man who gave us such joy in his creations. I have shared with my kids and when my kids have kids they to can share this mans legacy. RIP Akira! Now its time to train with the kids in the year of the dragon 2024.

Toriyama’s genius blossomed like a sakura in supernatural spring, petals unfurling with every creation to reveal worlds within worlds. With a stroke of his pen, he awakened the sleeping giants of heroism and fantasy. They rose to their feet, casting colossal shadows over the landscape of anime, their silhouettes stretching far across the global psyche. Rest In Peace, Legend.
Rest in peace to the man who inspired generations around the world in multiple ways. Akira Toriyama.
Dragon Quest was also a fundamental building block in Akira Toriyama's career. Made in 1985 the mega popular game brought Toryiama from being mildly popular to wildly popular.
It's also interesting to note how many new concepts the Dragon Quest series inspired upon Toryiama. Including his "Imp" illustrations which would later evolve into the concepts for Piccolo, and Emperor Pilaf.

Akira Toriyama will always be to me the Godfather of Anime. May he rests in peace in Heaven with the Lord; and may his legacy lives on in the Earth forever. 🙏🏾❤

RIP Akira Toriyama Sensi….. you shaped my life in more ways than one. I started watching Dragon Ball when I was about 14 or 15 as a teenager in high school before I went to class and now I am in my mid-40s and your lessons and shows impacts and still influences my life today. Thank you so much for the memories and the escape from turmoil to enjoy the world and universe you created.

After learning about toriyama's death now I want to learn about his life growing up as a kid that made him into such a amazing person
This man didnt create a famous franchise, but created my childhood, I was an avid watcher of DragonBallZ, being profoundly immersed in the storyline, sparking anticipationg leaving me impatient for what will happen next. I've played the games DragonballZ Budokai Tenkaichi 1, 2, and 3. This show will never age and will remain relevant no matter the decade
Great documentary. Toriyama was a great artist and his impact on the world will never be forgotten.

I feel like people from the 90s, 2000s and the current generation, I feel like we aren't giving Toriyama sensei enough credit
we all need to watch / read as much as possible of the rest of Toriyama's work apart from Dragon ball.
What breaks my heart is that a lot of young kids from the young generation would talk shit about dragon ball
and would think that shingeki no kyogin or kimetsu or bokunohero or other new artwroks , they think these new arts works are better than the legendary dragon ball ( father/god of shonen manga/anime)
they would talk shit about dragon ball when they don't even know that all the new mangas/anime are all inspired by their predecessors ( Dragon ball here )

You are an inspiration to all Anime Fans, i learned drawing Manga because of Dragon Ball Z. And then i became a fan of Anime since then.

If anyone wants to learn more about Toriyama I highly recommend reading Dr. Slump. Dr. Slump is hilarious but If cute gag mangas arent your thing I do recommend reading the parts in between each chapters to learn more about him.
One of the best Dragon Ball videos I’ve ever seen, if not the best. You’ve grown a lot man, and this video is quite a milestone in terms of editing! The great amounts of research that went into this are very evident, and I was entertained all the way through. Stuff like this motivates me to get back on Audacity and pump out some stuff. Bravo. 👏
