Such an under- rated song. You can get any number of Fabs fans having a drink , a smoke and a chatter, and it rarely gets mentioned. But when it IS brought up, everyone nods in agreement- it’s truly gorgeous.

Great performance- and most people say you can’t/shouldn’t plug an acoustic guitar into an electric guitar amp but Lemmo makes it sound great. Loved the effects too. I’d love him to share his settings on that. Sure the acoustic purists will gripe about it not all being acoustic but folks are gonna complain about something. Great job.

Martin knows koa. I have the remarkable HD 28 - Keb Mo. Koa back & sides. Engelman spruce top. Ebony fretboard. Simply amazing!
I always love the Beatles and Revolver is a favorite. Koa is from Hawaiian language. It means brave, bold, fearless. That wood on the guitar back is so beautiful.

That is one cool Martin, but damn Lemmo, your playing is remarkable...you have such an ear for haunting melodies...I started watching this channel a few years ago, and have enjoyed watching Norm and all the celebrities that frequent the shop, and I still enjoy that...but if I'm honest, now look forward to seeing Lemmo play more than anything...thanks for sharing your talent

He's wrong on one major point
Build quality has NOTHING to do with series.
At Martin, the build quality is the same from least expensive to most expensive.
The difference in 41, 42,:and 45 series is "bling" and other inlays like the headstock.
That highly figured Koa is beautiful!!

I have a D-42K from this era also. 1999 or 2000 can't remember. The D-42 Koa has a Koa top back and sides, but mine is spruce like the one above so is referred to as D-42K. I typically absolutely love Lemmo's style but how the heck can anyone discern Koa over cardboard or any other wood if it's played with so much altered amplification. A 23 year old Martin Dreadnought isn't really supposed to sound like an Ovation. Also mine does not have the pick up in it. Was this added afterwards or was it in the original Spec? Sorry bud but how bout some finger picking unamplified or at least without all the effects next time.

Lemmos talent far outweighs the price or quality of any guitar, without the Wizard playing the guitar, then it's just another instrument, cheap or expensive. Blessings from SA in the bush.

mike a chopstick right and it will sound good .u could play make it sound like any drum. same with Acoustic Guitar mikes of any sort.
The Guitar sounds the way it is built .All else is electronics. No Mas
great guitar ,had to turn off show as soon as pickup when on. With a decent pick up one could make anything sound good. What a waste of wood ! Koa so beautiful. I am sure Martin's corporate said "This will get you into the young market ". Horrible ,if someone bought this for me,I would sell it or trade for a real 18 or 28 .

I’m sorry, I just do not like that guy. Not sure what it is. He comes across like he knows more than Norm does about vintage guitars and way too much like a know it all. Be quiet grasshopper. You don’t have Lemmo’s talent and should not even be thinking about GOTD.
Nothing wrong with being knowledgeable, Michael could take a page from his book...
