I doubt it. I left mine for a day once and it was pretty much unusable. I just did a batch now and started scratching about 30 minutes after and it was ok but not ideal. Looks like you also have to put on a nice layer of the chipping fluid, not too thin. Best to do it right away I think. Good luck.

Use a primer
Then you can use acrylics on your midels
why cant you chip with mineral spirits & Enamels ?
