- This is a quick one just showing how the Arduino is connected to the bike.
I take no credit for this code, this was compiled by the folks over at www.pedelecs.c...
There is not a lot of room to work with so this can get difficult.
- You need to know how to solder
- You will need a basic understanding of Arduino
- I take no responsibility if you break your bike.
This is a pretty easy mod. Just follow the diagram, the wire colours should match up if you have the 2021 version. This might also apply to others.
I have been running this for 7 months now with no failures.

I think the wiring diagram is wrong, for 8.2 code the yellow wire should be on D5, not A5... also I have a 2023 purchased Vengeance and so far it's not working when applying throttle.. it gives an error 43 or 46 (can't remember which) after 5-6 seconds with nothing happening... just putting this here for anyone considering trying this with a brand new bike.. looks like some modifications are required to the code perhaps?
Actually I got it all working... the only thing wrong with the video here is it needs to be pin D5 not A5... other than that I can confirm it all works with a 2023 purchased Carerra Vengeance...!... Once powered on I'd forgotten to change the assist from off to an assist value (e.g. turbo)... works perfect!

Actually it does work, I bought my carerra vengeance last month and got it working yesterday, like the guy said in the comment don't conect the yellow wire to the A5 location it actually needs to be connected to D5 on the adrino
Hi... I have the same ebike can i install throttle with its original controller without ardunio ?
Can u contact the motor direct to the battery on a switch that when turn on the motor will turn on and off when needed ?? Or is this not able to be done
unfortunately the motor used is a 3 phase motor so a controller is required.
I have one of these bike and always wanted a throttle adding but have no idea about electrics, is there a plug and play kit

mines a 2017 or 18 model, suntour controller built into end of the battery, not under the bike like this model, wonder if this can work
Id imagine the design is the same, however you might need to modify the code.

No mate, this only replicates the peddles by using a throttle to trick the controller into thinking you are turning them thus power is then applied to the motor.
where do I buy the Arduinno an the throttle ?
So is this a way to finally do a bypass or is it still restricted? Like your vid from six months ago?
After I wired it up I just get an error 21 can anyone help?
