Is this too much for YouTube, lambs and the building from the back! Bust drain and PTO won’t stay on

- Usually I would try to spread lambing out a little bit and include a lot more of normal Farming 🇬🇧 but as it happens this is all I have been doing for the last few days. Lambs are coming thick and fast which brings in its self plenty of problems Miss presented lambs are a bit of an issue this year and over large singles. This is entirely my fault obviously for feeding them too much. We all know this but at least nothing has got twin lamb and died is skinning alarm too much for CZcams? Let me know in the comments. What are your thoughts on Leeming? I don’t want to overdo it. I will probably just shoehorn it in at the beginning and at the end of the normal video Big Roy tractor is playing up the PTO will not stay on, it isn’t a new vehicle so this isn’t surprising makes crushing Bali kind of hard work though

in 2009 i had no experience of farming or the realities that came with it. That soon changed when I met my other half Roy, I had a job as a carer and in every spare moment threw myself into farming. I had only ever driven a Nissan Micra and had experience with horses, I learnt the hard way as nobody had the time to show me and soon after arriving I found myself mothering on calves to three quarter bred limmy cows. We spent every available moment on the farm between our day jobs. Fast forward to 2016 two children later we moved into our very own farm overlooking the northern Pennines, Laitha.
we are in a transitional period at present and will finally be milking cows and making the final switch later this year, after years of planning and implementing infrastructure we will be milking 120 Jersey cows on two Lely robots. This will be a huge change and a steep learning curve

I am overjoyed to be a farmer. I feel so fortunate every day to wake up and do what I love and even better share it with the world and hope it inspires more young people from Preston to spread their wings and think outside the box the world doesn’t need more childcare workers or hairdressers it needs more farmers.

You need to show everything,otherwise the bubble will not be burst,that's life ,the public watch Sir David A and other programmes and have no problem seeing wildebeest etc being ripped apart!

Hi Charlotte, something completely different, your ewes are lambing. It seems to be going well, except for lack of sleep due to the call outs at midnight. With the building starting and lambing flat out looks like you and Roy will be even busier than normal. I hope the ewes behave and have their lambs the right way round. Thanks for the update. Great video Charlotte. No need to apologise for all sheep it’s a busy time for you. It’s hard to understand why they don’t let you show all sides of farming. You were actually saving a life by using the skin of a lamb that didn’t make it. If people don’t see how life is on a farm how else are you going to explain this to them. There’s another job on the farm fixing your water pipe.

Yes but not so many it is just a bit of a hobby of mine gone wrong… but then again the whole farm started off that way 😂
if a lamb is coming out backwards does it sometimes die just after birth similar to calves being born backwards
Yes very much. It doesn’t engage the muscles in the same way so often they don’t dilate the same and getting them out is hard for the sheep alone so if you miss them they can die x x
It's because they are too big. And sheep that try to steel other lamb's want putting in a blind pen. If they can't see it they won't steel it.

No I kept the dogs away from them and only walked them in it’s unusual for so many to be like that
