okay, people shouldn't be mad about spoilers....if they're not caught up and they go to some con, then that's kind of their own fault. One of the actors or a fan asking a question could give spoilers away....especially if it was like 2-3 days before. And like Jared said, with their very busy schedules and flying around the country, they're able to watch it, so....
going to or watching a con when you're not caught up on the show is like taking a test you didn't study for. it's probably not going to go well for you
J2 throwing shade at Dawn Ostroff. Woah! They are such cuddle toys, but don't get on their bad side. Good for them. I hate bosses who think they know everything. Why do people keep reminding them how much they are not with their family. I mean in reality they have the next three months wth thing that literally no working person usually gets in any job..
Kind of a wrong way to look at it. Yeah, they might have "the next three months with their familes." But, it's all of that time before then that they missed of their children and family time. And then not to mention the fact that these guys spend those "three months with their families" doing things like this, media interviews, talk shows, photo and magazine interviews, traveling for the network and continue to promote the show. If you notice, sometimes during these things and such, they would mention that their wives and children are backstage or in the audience. Is that considered as true family time when it's spent on the road and in hotels? These guys work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When it's not on set, it's on the road.
Do they really miss that much time? I mean when people work they can get home 6-7 maybe, kids can be asleep etc and they can even work weekends. But they don't get weeks at Xmas or Thanksgiving and 4 day weekends or 2-3 months off. Someone compared it to the military,, I don't think its that.
Actually no, they always do 2-4 cons over the summer as well. SOmetimes the family comes with them. They do 16-18 cons during filming, plus the overseas, plus fimiling, plus press etc. They spend a lot of time away.
They do and I'm not discounting their time but alot of people work a lot and would rather have quality than quantity and/or don't get to have a whole 2 months to spend with them. Thats the give and take of this. A lot just get 4 weeks or less for holidays and rarely 4 day week ends or odd weeks off. I mean good on them,, this is their business and they choose to do cons which is great but they get to see their kids,, they get to have a whole summer together. Its the bonus of working in this business and good on them!

They continue to do the show and cons because they care about the show, the crew they work with and the fans. We say thanks all the time because we know they do not have to do any of this. Well, she said " whenever WE go off on deployment...and then when WE finally get back" so it sounded like she was in or had been in the military. So, I'd say she would know best.
