I'm.. I'm hyped because someone actually gave Pokemon some credit and started reacting to it. I wanted to rewatch it myself but since it has more episodes than One Piece it's not that easy xD now it has what.. 24 seasons almost?

Ash’s Pikachu is actually a male, you can tell by looking at its tail. If a Pikachu’s tail is flat at the end, then it is a male. But if a Pikachu’s tail has a heart at the end, then it’s a female.
From what I heard, the voice actress who plays Pikachu wasn't pleased with Pikachu's gender being confirmed as male. Because according to her (according to what I read years ago), Pikachu's gender was originally kept ambiguous so that he would be equally relatable to both boys, and girls watching the show, because they could decide his gender in their own heads.
I've loved Pokemon actually still do, im 22 and I play both the tcg and video games till to this day. Haven't watched the anime in such a long time but I definitely loved the first 4 generations of the anime last one I watched was The Shinnoh seasons. Very classic didn't think you'd start this but you know this is a legendary show and franchise so im hyped :) hope you enjoy it 😀

Only the original. There's over 1200 episodes of Pokemon. She's said she probably won't react to One Piece cuz it's too long and pokemon is longer than that

@@Yoshi-JDLH I dropped somewhere in season 14 or 15 since I kinda lost interest (and I was OBSESSED by this when I was 7, lol) and later episodes weren't that good imo. I never saw like XY, Sun & Moon and other later parts (only a glimpse of it), especially because I felt like it's not the Pokemon I always knew.. but I'll maybe give it a shot one day..
my cousins are watching the latest episodes not knowing the origin.. but I don't think they care xD
@@Daesma999 as someone who has watched over 1200 episodes of it I’d say Black and White is by far the worst part of Pokémon the best 2 series we’re Diamond and Pearl and XY only reason I have XY over DP is probably that DP was too long and Serena is the best Pokegirl so far also the battles were amazingly animated Sun and Moon got a lot of hate cuz of the weird art style but the show itself wasn’t that bad tbh not as good as XY but still pretty good and the current series is just as good as SM if not better still not on the level of DP or XY but that’s pretty hard to do.
I love Pokemon! Let’s go! My favourite is Charmander.

I just feel like a grow up 20 years old.
In my humble opinion, Pokémon just keeps getting better and better right up until Pokémon Advance, and that’s when it starts slowly declining until Black & White where it just tanked. However, X&Y brought it back up to being really good again - and I haven’t watched any other season since then for a number of unrelated reasons.
Oh... keep watching my man... sun and moon, and then Pokémon journeys who is the curent season are amazing...

@@pxllfx3207 They didn't change timeline for the record. The artstyle changed drastically but it is the same Ash and there are callbacks to past events in both SM and Journeys.
Not wanting to watch is okay but don't spread misinformation.

Unfortunately the oldest console I had was not a Gameboy but a Nintendo DS, however I still remember Pokémon games I managed to get on there!😂

Now I chose Cyndaquill again in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Pokemon brings back good memories.

I'm proud to say that the first technology I held as a child was an original edition ds. I loved pokemon and collected the cards religiously. If you aren't in on pokemon yet, your missing out I promise it's worth watching.

I love this anime, Hoenn is my favorite part of the whole show. Every time I have played Pokémon Fire Red or Leaf Green I liked to start with Bulbasaur, really love sleep powder and the poison.

I met Pokemon through this episode of the anime when I was 6 years old and that's how my love for Pokemon began, now I'm 29 years old and although I don't watch anime anymore I still play Pokémon games, I follow youtubers who also play. Pokemon is a well-known franchise around the world that many people still like after 25 years of existence. I will continue playing your video games.

English dub censors a little, but it is a classic. Like when Misty first meets Ash, she totally slaps him in the face for putting Pikachu in danger lol
But the dub makes it a weird cut so you see her holding her hand up for some weird reason

The Pokémon at the end is Ho-Oh, but its apart of the second generation. I'm not sure if that was foreshadowing or what.

Fun little detail: This series started before Pokemon Genders were a thing but nowadays you can tell Pikachus gender by the shape of it's tail Male's look like a lightning bolt and Female's look like a heart

You should also do Pikachu’s Goodbye and A Scare to Remember, those are two of the best episodes focused on Ash and Pikachu’s friendship.
