I'd suggest to people not to underestimate how many quartz you need. Go into banners with at least 800 SQ. Use this guy's method and just save up for a year. Expect to only roll on one banner a year and you'll probably succeed.
Yep. I'm saving since New Years. I spent one or two multis on Musashi, Sigurd etc on my way here. I already knew to spend only 450 sqs MAX on both Morgan and Melusine, so i can have 900 (with the sqs we will be getting on anniversary) for the guaranteed Koyanskaya. As someone who wants Oberon more than Koyan, this is just amazingly helpful. I usually exiled myself on Mt. Ebih but the Olympus stage is just more quicker. For bond CE I usually run tea time, Master foumes, lunch time and the Jeanne portrait(all hail) but then of course if there are any other better alternatives CEs id like to know of them . My team is pretty much the same Jeanne Archer(my favourite Prius) and double Castoria(the Rolls Royces forced into my garage) and what other characters I want to bond. Sorry if this comment is so long but what I'm trying to say is thank you for the tips and for doing the math. Happy grinding!
I maximize my bond farming, I basically give all my servants bond ce’s (damage is bit lacking and most of my loopers are np2 so keep that in mind)

If you do, you go straight to the rare prisms shop>listen to mini Jeanne genius long enough to make you tweak so bad for you to want to burn any copy of Davinci you ever own> go to heroic portrait> pick the ONLY good option which is the Jeanne D'arc portrait(if you pick anything else trust me I'll know and I'm gonna find you)>Congratulations!!! You have your own Jeanne CE for you to enjoy and farm bond with.
Now, if you don't have any rare prisms hehe...Well buddy you've got yourself quite the pickle. You see you'll need to do something I like to call "staff cutting". You go to your inventory and pick the "lamb". You see, the "lamb" is that one tiny itty bitty thorn in your side that RUINS ANY KIND OF SUMMON YOU EVER PERFORM! Either 4* or 5* the lamb shall know no mercy, no second chances, no form of even tasting the battlefield whatsoever. The only thing that the "lamb" will feel is nothing but the warm embrace of the furnace as it burns its skin and Herioc spirit core to such a degree it is transformed into currency for you to enjoy(Damn you Astrea, Damn you Lobo). When the screaming and pleading stops you can safely open the furnace and confidently pick your new and ready to spend Rare Prism. And rember You are the Master, you're the real hero.

The footage is my daily bond farming. Jeanne Archer + 2 Castoria. You can see that i spend all my AP pretty fast. Some days i do over 100 times the same node (110k bond).
How do you sustain that many runs a day? Just got a mountain of gold apples to fall back on?

When Vitch light is available. If you have an NP4 or 5 caster Cu, use him. Bring any CE you want and you can 3T this easily.

Sorry about this really late question but can you even summon Caster Cu anymore?? I’ve been playing the English version of FGO since day one and I haven’t had him come at all since the very, VERY beginning of the game. He’s still NP2 for me.
This is a useful setup, dudes right at the end too. Save up at least 1000 for a Summon Banner you have your eyes on. The JP bros took the leap in the dark for us so we NA players can plane accordingly! Example, I held up at 1000 an a lil' more for Castoria and got blessed with 2 copies within 40SQ! I then haphazardly spent SQ on a whim over time because big wealthy number... but I didn't even get 1 Muramasa copy in my 800 SQ!! Lesson is, be patient, don't bank your targets on clutch confident luck 'cause chances are you'll just end up collecting the entire CE library but no Servants to use them with...
That is why I saved up to 1800 Sq in preparation for Vitch and Oberon
That's most likely how many sqs i saved. I spent some lucky rolls and got Musashi and Sigurd during the summer 5, spent those 120 for double Morgan, 270 for double Melusine, 900 for Koyan (pity as you can see in my video) and i'm sitting at 540 for Oberon and Summer Kama. Hopefully i can get more bonds until then.
I got np2 Arcueid in 1000sq. Now I have to say farewell to castoria again when she reruns on December. If not for being such an Arcueid fan. Kind of wish I got atleast NP3 but nothing we can do about it.
And there's no Arcueid Rerun yet... Damn it.

this looks nice on paper but taking into consideration that in 70 days time you will get multiple events
+ usually 40 ap each event free quest that doesnt start with good ones available on start
+ need to farm specific materials for favourite servants skills /ascention
usually will need alot more days >_> in practice
30 saint quartz each though, free money so still worth
Exactly, a 70 day timeline is just not realistic unless you decide to ignore everything else in the game for some reason (and at that point why even play?). IMO you should always look to accumulate bond by when you can but should never go out of your way to get it

That’s true but by doing this You set it up that You can get 150 SQs each 3/5 months and believe me that adds up. Managed to get Pity for Castoria after spending 300 on NP2 Lartoria.
Mostly I used Bond Grails for supports/favs but specifically Arash and Chen Gong. Firstly, they're good for wave clearing (grailed at lvl 80 and lvl 90 respectively) and low team cost. My usual lineup is Arash, Chen Gong, Castoria, Support Castoria and the remaining cost can accommodate 2SSRs. Furthermore, I can use all Bond CEs on them. For any base 815 bond points can give me 1191 (while farming materials as well).
Exactly. Having a full setup with bond CEs is so nice.
If you play in NA you can aim for specific servant you want and just stack your SQ over1 year, you can get easily 1k+SQ so you can hit the pitt system if the RNG not in your side
I might need to take bond farming seriously, I have like 200+ golden apples saved up (usually go through a dozen or 2 in lotto events) and only 1 servant at bond 10 being Castoria, and I think Berserker Jeanne is like bond 8 for second place. But in my defense I do play other games in my free time. Also should note, I'm at like story node 11 in LB6 so I'm not that new.
Yep, I have 500 apples saved so far. I do farm a lot of lotto, so you can farm the lotto and bond at the same time. Like and Subscribe for more content in the future, it really helps me out. =D
@@KosheiDeathless How the hell do you guys do that? After lotto events I always end up with less than 10 apples and it just so happens that every time this occurs to me we don't see golden apples for a long while.
Maybe it's cause I always try to get everything?

@@danieltruong4873 I farm by myself, I only use FGA when farming exp, maybe it's cause my event drops are usually not that good maybe it's cause in reality I never had that many gapples in the first place, who knows?

I've been playing since 2018 and not once have I ever had a surplus of Gapples, where and when would you even accumulate so many?
I know a better place to farm more bond it's by Equipping All Bond Ces and Just a 50% charge ce on ur dps, preferably Spishtar or Da Vinci Lily and have their mana loading skill unlocked then Go to Camelot Great Temple and farm that node it will net you 855+349 Bond for every run which costs 22 AP
I can do it with Lolinci and 6 bond CE without swap MC and I get 855+392, really good setup, just need a strong Lolinci xD (mine's np5 120lvl xD)
If you have completed LB6, Oxford also netted the same amount of bond points and it has a 3/3/3 node with zerk and saber enemies. If you have a Arts aoe with 50% charge, castoria and 50% charger you can go full bond CEs on this node which netted around 855+392 bond points each runs
The highest enemy HP in this node is 96k and i used an NP1 Muramasa so left about 10k hp left after the NP so i needed to facecard it a bit, but someone with a stronger arts aoe than mine probably won’t need that, and maybe if they’re strong enough don’t need to plugsuit like i did

FINALLY SOMEONE THAT GETS IT. Although I don’t try to 3T constantly. I just try to have at least 2 Bond 10+ Servants are then everyone else who is close to next Bond level.
It’s so I can have access to new Bond 10+ Servants and I can switch around between the other 815/21 Bond nodes to farm materials I may need. For example farming Dragon fangs in Salem.
Yep. If it wasn't for them. I would not have pulled all the 5* servants this year like i did.

I just realized this the other day and there's even a way to make it more efficient, which is using low rarity bond grailed servants, so you can use more bond ces, sadly i only have bond 10 herc lol, im still doing it with 3 bond grailed servants tho, maybe i'll try leveling another 4* to bond 10 but sounds like a waste so idk
Exactly, the lower the rarity, the easier it is to use every bond CE in the team. 5% might not seem much, But It's like every 100 runs you get 5 free runs worth of bond. Very smart of you. Like and subscribe for future content, it really helps me out.
Problems.
N. 1 Apples. You can't do it infinetely cause you run out of them. Needless to say there's no point using your SQ to recharge your stamina
N. 2 Bond Grails. People might have gotten around 10 of them for free since it was introduced. You buy them with RP which is another scarce resource for people who don't spend real money to have. All in all this video is more for whales and dolphins to save up on their spending
It's not even worth it to use apples IMO. 1 apple is roughly 7k worth of bond exp depending on your level. That's a tiny drop in the bucket for the 1M you need per bond level and so they're better spent elsewhere
This is a time based farm, not a speed farm

You forgot to mention lost temple in camelot have the highest BP in the game with 855. But problem is being 2/2/2. For now modred rider can loop if you have higher np level. Plus 5 star exp and chain drop rate really high on this one.
Oh yes, for absolute values that is the best place. I meant bond/ap. I believe this node is 22 ap instead of 21. But good note on that one.
I really like that one. 2-2-2 seems annoying, but then you realize it's really not hard to card the first two waves, and you really need only one NP at the end. Currently using Morgan + Merlin x2 on iy, and there's, like, one starting hand preventing a 3T.

I'm definitely one you'd call a whale, but even then I have wasted so much potential SQ's farming, I haven't done all rank up quests, nor interludes, on top of that I haven't caught up to story completely, and never did all free quests from the lostbelts, but in recent months I've had to stop whaling habits, and finally felt what it means to grind for SQ's, doing more rank up quests and interludes, and of course bond farming
Let's not forget the cost of gold Prisms to buy in the Bond Grails.
Yeah. But i dare not show my second archive... there are 17 Ibarakis there. And mine is already np5. Summer 3 did me really hard.
Saving for me is pretty easy honestly, since I don't roll on every banner ever. I went down to zero at the Space Ishtar banner on the rerun(didn't get her). I didn't use any SQ up until recently, threw two multis at Summer Rerun (got Abby and Fujino :D). But right now, I have 776SQ, and I didn't even do anything special. I basically only farm bond during events when I can get more bond bonuses. And I still have like 20 rank up quests to do and some interludes too lol.
Bond farming is good and all, but being able to control yourself and not roll is the most important thing. Just use your tickets for someone you kinda want, but save the SQ for your favorites. You can see 2 years into the future after all, that's the luxury of being an NA player.

Well... that's unfortunate, however, go check if you can unlock that CE again in the rare prism shop. If not, then pray they put it there in the future.
Without the Apple, you can get basically 14k experience in a day

slap on 2 low star that you like/has the highest bond already on the back, and you can have all ce with who ever you want on the other 3 slots, I was able to take advantage of foumes as my dps ce due to my musashi/S ishtar being np2 lv100
Exactly. I just used mostly 4 and 5* because i like them. But for even more efficiency you can use low star servants.

By all means finish your interludes and strengthening first.

I started not even a month ago, I have so few quartz and I don't think I will get Koyanskaya of Dark, if I rush through the story then maybe I can do 100 wishes but that's debatable. My unga bunga team will have to wait.
Rushing through main and free quests, plus interludes and rank ups gives over 1 thousand quartz. But very time consuming. Maybe for light koyan then.
I'm probably gonna die soon man, i got Koyan using only 300 Sq and then got Obe for only 72 tickets, the gacha gods will claim their part soon.

New player here, how common are Bond Greils? Like from what you are explaining you are getting these new bond levels quickly but I dont have any bond greils. Ik bond 6-10 give 3 sq but those will eventually run out.
6 to 10 gives 3 quartz each. Once you reach bond 10, you can lantern them to reach 11. Once they reach 11 you can get the whole 30 quartz per bond 11. Trust me, i have a lot of rare prisms and lanterns. Can't say you tap those in your first month of the game. But once they start rolling, is a snow ball.
i have 3 SQ and 1 ticket 💪 with an uncontrollable gacha pull addiction. i do not know what saving and hoarding are.

if you can farm starting with 0 the Foumes CE half bond 5% half QP 5% is a full atk CE i level up to 100 to use that instead of black grail when i farm bond nodes that way i add an extra 5% with a 1 or 2 star servant in the backline to lower the total cost of the party since there is no mechanic other than servant coins from bond i don't feel like only bonding 5 stars will be that much better than fit more bonus in the party (at least until now in jp, they can add more mechanic to bonding later)

Morgan's banner comes around 10th of July - 20th of July. With your regular amount of Quartz + tickets, your chances are pretty high. However, if you can farm more quartz in interludes/rank ups, main story, free quests etc. You would be almost guaranteed.
Damn lucky I got np 4 barghest and np 7 sith and np1 anastasia np 1 arjuna np 2 morgan in 1000 quartz I wish i got her earlier so I could save for merlin

In fact the recorded footage is basically me doing my entire AP in free quests. 1 week before Melusine i went "Apples Blazing" in order to have a better chance for np2.
I’ve honestly taken for granted this Bond Farming… I only have so much as a level 7 Dioscuri and most of my favs are level 6/5… I have Nitocris and Koyanskaya of Light for battery, so I just need a Support Castoria, right?
Or a support Koyan as well. Double Koyan is awesome for buster looping, like i showed in most of my buster showcases, challenge quests and 3t farming.

As a relatively new player without NP batteries, Kscope or any of the other 70+ NP CEs, I find myself in a catch 22: I need to farm bond to roll, and I need to roll to farm bond.

Hard question. I would use the amount i had in those Koyan, Oberon and Castoria banners. Then save the rest.
@@KosheiDeathless I tried for Oberon. Got a Kscope, Grand Marshal, Tam Lin Tristan, and BOTH versions of Gawain with 360 SQ. Guess who I didn't get lol.
At least you got both CEs. 3t farming won't be as much of an issue with that. But hopefully you can still get him or any other servant you roll for.

By favorite tomboy you mean who ? Mordred? Caenis ? Because it took me 2 banners and half a year to get my first lovely Jalter. (I failed april 2018 and got her in october 2018).
I have a question. Is it better to go from 10->11 bond with a random servant or 11->12 bond with the same servant you leveled up. Also what nod do you recommend to get the most for your AP?

I like Olympus secret hanger, it's one of the easiest for any servant to loop. As for the bonds. 10-11 is "cheaper" however, we are playing FGO, use yhe characters that you love the most in order to be an enjoyable experience. =D

If you can, it's 5%
unless you farm 3 R yeah go for it. If 2 SSR front row with 1 SSR and 1 SR with one rare its not worth it. If you dont care about fast farming but going all SR yeah sure go for it. Since im using fast farming setup and that ce have no place.
Lunchtime + support teatime is the best. Anything else is just a plus.

I used to be someone who spends money on this game, but after rolling 700+ sqs for Godjuna without getting him and got spooked by Vlad. Now failing on getting Koyanskaya with 600 sqs, I decided to stop spending money on this game. Thank you for this tip bro.

Question Wich is better full team witch CE's that increase AP via a percentage or the flat 50+ ones with support and Chaldea lunch time or is it around the same?
Normally you want the "Support's Teatime" no questions asked. Then your Lunchtime for 10% (since normally those nodes gives 800~ bond, so 80 bond here). And then your heroic portrait for extra 50 bond. If you have any space remaining, you use your own dinnertime as well as anything else you have. If that helped, please like and subscribe it helps a lot.
Always Use foumes for the attacker since it gives 2k atk at lv 100.
Tea time from sup.
50+ if the node has less than 1000 base bond drop. (Always use this one on your second character in the frontline since it has the second best atk value.)
Lunchtime always for the 10%
New kadoc CE for the 25fp to get more grails via casting.
Last one you can choose any 5% of your choice.

If you're stuck without any lanterns and any servant post bond 10, you can always bring the others up and wait next month. Sometimes it happens. Happens even more when we have dead weeks and lots of time.

They can be found at the Davinci workshop. By buying each copy for 1000 mana prisms. Some might need to unlock them in the rare prism shop as well.

People saving 900 for pity and there is me who got Mura, Morgan, Koyan under 60 rolls each and went into rolls with only 450 SQs
I got Morgan with 60, 2 copies with 120. 2 copies of Melusine with 270. And unfortunetelly Koyanskaya with 900, yes pity, even recorded the video if you want to watch it. Now i have 600+- for Oberon.
@@KosheiDeathless Nice nice. I usually don't save a crazy amount SQ for specific Servants, I just go for anyone with 400 SQs cuz that's my limit. For me to get 3 or 4 SSR in year is better than losing my whole year of Savings to be lost in single banner.
Yep. The only year i got less then 10 SSR was 2019. So far i always got at least 10. This year i'm at 13 (including the free 5* ticket).

Now you can also do it in avalon, to farm new mats.
My new favorite place is Oxford. My jeanne comp can farm it with 6 CEs (but with Mash at the back since she is now bond 5/8). Total bond gained is 855+392 = 1247 bond per servant. With Bells and etc as drops.

But morgan, np3 Lancelot and koyan is a good bargain. Now I need to save up
I saved and farmed enough. I still have 450 with me. Got Oberon with 120, Koyan with 900, Melu np2 with 270 and Morgan np2 with 120. So i saved and farmed 1860 total for this. Now those 450 are going to keep growing up for Summer Kama.

The more units you can put above lv 10, the better. Some will lack the chaldea lanterns to do this method. But soon enough you will have enough.

Oh not at all. I also got lucky with some summons before. Is just that i didn't want to take any chances with those summons. Koyan, Oberon, Melu and Morgan were just too good to pass up. =D

Just golden apples. We get a few during events, logins etc. I only use them in bulk during said events and for farming.

What I don't like about this game it doesn't have replay like
*can't farm enhance material to upgrade skills only obtainable most of the time throught main quests, shop(pure prisms are needed)
*fkn farm match is expensive 40 ap wich is fked up
*Can't obtain pure prisms. only through main quests
*ap restoration to full takes 2 to 6hours or half a day
depending on your level)
*sq price is a bit expensive
*gacha system will give you anxiety
*devs called out people that them wanting pity system is an insult to their game even though they're earning a huge amount of money(well they added pity system(330 summons before you get what you want)
Currently in lostbelt 2 just started playing this November 2. Got lucky with maou nobu at np2 lvl 100 even though she's just a waifu bait. Currently have five 5star servants(excluding the free one so 5 all)

@@dvdivine1962 She gives a bare minimun of 5% arts performance. If you're missing some arts or np charge, you can hold castoria's skill 1 for turn 2 and 3 each.

To be fair. It's only 5 minutes per day of farming. I've seen waaaay worse.
@@KosheiDeathless To be fair, do they pay you? You spent 1 minute for 1 quest so 13 minutes /day, you get 150 SQ each 70 days so 750SQ/year. 1H30min X52 = More than 70H to not get a pity? Am i right?

There are SO MANY BUGS IN THIS GAME LATELY that I am about ready to delete the app.
Why can't they fix things between say 3 am EST and 7 am EST? It's totally disrupting not only my preferred time to play FGO but also my son in law, daughter and our other friends who are with me in QUITTING if those lasengle idiots don't stop effing with our game!
That was indeed pretty unfortunate. It was a bug that some players were getting even more quartz then programmed. Honestly it wasn't anything major, only around 10 to 40 sqs IF you got more then 150 strengthening quests done. But at least everything is ok and i hope you can play your game normally now.

If you've seen my second archive or summon videos. I've got Medusa Lancer 14 times just last year. Also, any rerun nowadays gets you 5 rare prisms instead of the previous 4* welfare. Rare prisms nowadays are far easier to get.

Some events, montly resets etc. I'm with 4 right now. Once i lvl up my remaining 5 high bond servants, i will need to recharge on lanterns by farming the "low bond ones"
But we do have this lantern mechanic at so much time, that if someone is not farming bond since release, they should have stocked enough lanterns.
Burnout is an easy way to quit the game as well.
You can take breaks as long as you want. Now we have blue apples to spend the ap whenever we want instead of playing every day.

Save it. She is a support servant foremost. So you hardly will be using her as a dps. You always keep your sups np1 and dps you try np2. At least if you have a tight quartz budget. Also... Oberon is coming in about 3 days.

What is that blue CE on Jeane archer?
It"s a 1* CE that gives 5% arts dmg. I only used it because i only had 1 point left for a CE. But she can loop without CE as well.

Jeanne loops those farm nodes perfectly at np1 as well. I made a video during SABER WARS 2, Jeanne could loop even lancers and nodes with 2 or 1 enemies.

For me she was left at 90% charge after the first wave (I do not have the arts 1* CE) and had to use facecard to finish the 2nd and 3rd. But I remembered I have a level 100 chen gong and more than enough supports to feed 3 NPs
Oh. I meant you could use Castoria's first skill on turns 2 and 3 to complement Jeannes NP Charge if needed.
For bond lvling to 10 - 11 how much time does it take?
When i was lvling Jalter. I got it in less then a month.

It is posssible. Even faster if there is a lotto event and you want to spend apples. For this Melusine banner i got the 1mil bond in just 2 days. Farmed like a lunatic. But the 150sqs were worth it. (150 because i had 5 servants to bond lv).

Is doing the free quests, or chaldea gate, but with the intention to level up your character bonds. The higher they get, more saint quartz they reward you.
I'll do lots of videos for beginners as well in the near future. Like and subscribe, it really helps me a lot =D

150 quartz for 2 and a half MONTHS of natural AP farming isn't really what I'd call "Easy Saint Quartz". Especially when you take into account all of the other things going on in the game that require your AP and are more preferable to farm. It'd be easier and faster to just go get a job flipping burgers at McDonalds for a weekend and you'd come away from that with more quartz, money, and some work experience.
Like i said, that is IF you don't want to spend apples AND you're in a dead week. You can still farm bond in QP nodes, or event nodes. The point is to not forget that if the comp you're using is getting the bond, albeit slowly, it will reward you when the time comes. Also, the 288ap rotation i mentioned is made in less then 5 minutes of farming.

And given the amount of effort for the payoff, calling it "easy" is clickbait at best. IMO, bond should be the absolute last thing you target farm and no F2P looking to get free quartz should be spending their apples on bond specifically as mats are a much bigger bottleneck
Also, the 288 ap rotation definitely does not take less than 5 minutes of farming as evidenced by your own video.
