Today I will review the KZ castor (Black Edition). This is the bass edition unlike the Harman edition which is silver in colour. This is an amazing iem for the low price of $12! A budget basshead iem which is a must listen for all. Have a look at my review and find out more about it.

Although i highly suggest using a dac with these, as they shine when using a good dac. 🙂I have used the wan'ner but if you want bass then the castor bass is the option, sadly i havent tried the aero 2
i just got them but the bass is not good, 1 2 switches are turned on and 3 4 are off. do i need an amplifier?

sorry that you didnt like the bass it has, but i guess for the price it does more than enough. If you are talking about the quality of the bass then you will have to spend more 🙂

I wouldnt suggest getting a dac, as these are quite easy to drive. I would rather suggest spending that money for an iem

Are you asking in general? Then in my opinion the EM6L is the most someone should spend to get the best gaming experience. Its fantastic!
But if you are asking about the castor. Then no, in mt opinion the chu 2, truthear gate (whose review should come soon) are better

Hello Brother if I compare CCA CRA vs KZ Castor, which one do you think has more bass rumble?
as I checked in graphs CRA has slightly higher bump near 20Hz area

No it isnt that spatial, generally iems arent that spatial. But budget ones like these fare even worse. I would suggest spending atleast $50 or more to get a food spatial sounding iem

I haven't tested the zero 2. But I am testing the gate now. And what you explained, it can achieved by the truthear gate. I am also testing the Wanner studio edition which sounds similar to the gate. 🙂

i am using UUDD, which is basically 2 level of boosts to bass and leave the mids and treble to its stock tuning. if you find the bass to be too much then switch to UDDD.

what switch setting for bass heads? currently mine is UUDD.
The UUDD is the ultimate basshead setting. 🙂

Hello, thanks for the commrnt 🙂. Sorry i havent used the ESX. so can't comment. But from what i know KZ Castor has the most bass of any budgrt iem i have come across, and not only is the bass quantity more but also the quality very good.
