Backseat on this coaster is gold. The entire coaster is unrelentless. Doesn't give up until the end.

Yeah. I was 8 when I rode it the first time. It was the last ride they were giving before the park closed for the day and roar was gone forever.
The community doesn’t give this coaster the love it deserves. It’s a great ride that packs tight inversions, airtime, a good drop and great airtime, Sounds a little like a certain intamin launch coaster

I was blown away how much this ride threw me into my seat at first.
While standing in line at the station a few days ago, a couple who were visiting the park for the first time asked me what the craziest ride in the park was, and being an old school guy, I told them that Medusa was probably as crazy as it gets. After riding this in the back seat, I'm afraid that I might have to put aside my nostalgia and admit that Discovery Kingdom has a new king sitting atop the roller coaster throne.
The joker was pretty insane. I thought it was a kiddie ride but I was mistaken 💀

i loove this ride. it was the first time i ever went upside down on a ride... i was nervous at first since i had never gone upside down before, but i ended up going two times in a row afterward because it was so fun! 🙃

Even though people say that this is the weakest RMC, I highly disagree. I've been on arguably the best RMC (Twisted colossus),
And it was hard picking between these 2 coasters! This has phenomenal airtime, and you don't know how great this ride really is until you ride it!

I disagree with what others have to say about the joker...the ride is awesome been on it the drop was like oh my god
I LOVE how RMC coasters have a style all of their own. I wouldn’t be able to describe it because I’m not a coaster expert, but this ride looks and “feels” (seeing it on my screen) very much like Six Flags Mexico’s ‘Medusa’ which is every bit as savage as this one is and has very similar turns, falls, screws, the tracks look exactly the same. RMC is the best of the best.
I've been watching many RMC roller coaster POV's recently and you can notice that distinct noise the track makes whenever the train goes over an airtime hill.
That's the suspension working, the road wheels leaving the track surface( also known as wheel gap) and coming back down, and the upstop wheels *yes that is a technical term lol* rolling along the underside of the rail and continuing to spin quickly after the car lands back on on the rail and they are no longer needed. Probably the structure flexing a bit as well.
This looks so safe yet unstable at the same time
I'm going to miss Roar, as it was the first ever coaster i ever went on when i was a kid, over 20 years ago, but I believe Joker is a perfect homage to what came before it, using a lot of the same track layout and path while adding a lot of thrill to what was already a fairly high g track.
Only 90s and early 2000s kids remember when this ride was called Roar. Used to be such a loud experience

This thing deserves absolutely no hate at all. It looks like a phenomenal RMC! I would even say possibly top 5.

Joshua Hart well you see here they fucking staple you to chairs with the restraints. Also last time i went to this park the dispatches were a lot faster. Since im fat the restraints were really uncomfortable. Honestly i cant believe im about to say this but i prefer over the head shoulder restraints. Depending on the ride

RMC's are NOTORIOUS for having smooth as butter rides. Joker is no different. Next time ask for a larger seat car. Most RMC's have a row on the train. Ask if Joker has a row. Your experience may be much more enjoyable.

Amy Contreras i remember my first time when i was 10. it was so scary the first time. it gets less scary the more you ride it. now i’m not scared and i put my hands up. btw you should try putting your hands up. it seems scary but it’s not and it’s way more fun.👍

My favorite roller coaster at 6 flags discovery kingdom. It was also my first ever roller coaster period. I'm 37 and went on for the first time a few months ago. I've been on others there since then, but I love this coaster. The wait is usually longer than the other coasters, but it's always worth it. It always feels like something new too.

Im normally a "whoo hoo" person and this one had me cussing out my bestfriend and yelling "WHY DID I GET ON THIS!?" Hahaha. But once it was done I was ready to go again! So worth the ride and the long line that is ALWAYS there

My favorite villans themed roller coast would have to be Riddler's Revenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain. That coaster is legendary.
JUST got off this ride, amazing, amazing experience. So SMOOTH too. My second RMC hybrid, SteVe being my first. Not as big or fast as Steel Vengeance, but just as fun and just as intense, and a smoother ride experience even! There’s elements of SteVe where I really have to brace myself or I’ll get whiplash. On Joker I just kept my hands up and cruised the whole way through. With only 2 RMC’s under my belt, I can’t wait to ride more of them!

Coronavirus: I’m gonna ruin this whole mans career
I been on many different roller coasters thought the country and this one is by far the best.
First I have to say that I was super pissed they were taking roar down. This is my home town but as I was moving out to LA they were taking in down... 2 yrs later I came home for a visit with the opportunity to go to DK and get on this ride and we waited in line for more than an hour! I was so glad I did! I loved roar but this is better (no lie) had me cussing my best friend out, and yelling "why did i do this? Stop!" And in the end I wanted another ridr! Sooo good! 😍😍

I went on this ride exactly a week ago, I hadn't been on it since 2016 and forgot how crazy it was. I remember when me and my dad were going up and it just kept going and i was like "well crap". It was super fun, but I had to close my eyes the whole time
Roar was my first roller coaster it's opening year in 1999 when I was 10. It was a magnificent GCI design and one of the only RMC conversions that really didn't need it. It should have remained a woodie.

Just went on this ride today for the first time and I have to start by saying I'm terrified of coaster but this coaster here was........ Awesome 😎 I had a blast and will definitely get on it again I highly recommend it
