- Suzy Bauter's 1963 AMC Rambler Wagon has taken her places and given her experiences she never dreamed of. This Rambler is not just lipstick on a pig however. A lot of design and engineering went into this build. Luckily for her, her other half Rodney is a suspension genius and between the two of them they were able to utilize modern components to not only make this wagon competitive in autocross events but give it that distinctive look only the Flare Witch can give you.

Me and a friend are building a 59 Rambler American Coupe. Sits on an S10 Chassis and has a pukey 96 LT1 (400hp). Looks like you have done a very nice job. Mine is an ugly Betty. My brother had a 63 running for $400. He gave it away. I love the weird. I am sure the chassis was a challenge.
That’s pretty smart. I see a lot of S-10’s get used for older 3100 trucks but you’re the first using it for a rambler body that I know of
@@315squared4 I had to channel the body so the frame is stuffed into the inside of the car. Afforded the use of the S10 floorpan however 🙂

@@315squared4 I hope I live that long.... Ok All kidding aside it might get done first quarter next year. Nothing even close to Suzy's Wagon. mine is on a real budget.
