The Prodigy just hit something around this time. In the 90s you had the crowd that listened to electronic music of various sorts - D&B, jungle, house etc - then you had the indie kids listening to guitar music (like me). The Prodigy managed to find a sound that appealed to both and so in the UK this brief period is fondly remembered all round.

The Prodigy were kind of unique in that you could go to a an indie club and it would be played in amongst Blur and Oasis, go to a hard rock/metal club and it would be played with Metallica and Nirvana, it would be played in dance clubs too and on daytime radio. I kind of forget how huge they were.

I can't help but get so tickled when I see reactions to this kind of music video :D In the 90s, this was such a 'look' for rock/grunge/alternative videos that had a darker edge - NIN, Marilyn Manson, etc. Dark/creepy lighting, film in a room/house that looks like its either condemned, haunted or both, black lipstick/unusual makeup, contact lenses that make your eyes look messed up, close up on some insects, scorpions, rats, etc. and voila!! I loved it all so much - miss the days of The Prodigy - they are legends and Keith is sorely missed - thanks for the great reaction video :)

I still have this song on repeat on my playlist. To this day. For me, that was the whole point of the song. A lot of kids (like me), we felt stifled, coming out of very strict moral upbringing in the 80's. When the 90's came (ooooh... and what a childhood it was!) - songs like these came out as a reaction. It was about screaming and rebelling. And it was good.

Their performance lasted 2-3 hours and after it finished the crowd didn’t want it to end. I was 14 then and I’ll be 17 this year, so I’m pretty young but I love them. He is beyond talented & keef, maxim & leeroy were originally dancers for Liam to get the crowd hyped at raves then firestarter changed the whole dynamic. A very underrated band, they have a big following but they don't get the credit they deserve that's for sure.
