- Conor McGregor's has incredible talent displayed when sparring. His fight versus Michael Chandler was announced by Dana White UFC MMA. Here are his training clips where he spars for his fight.

Say what you want, but Conor at the very least has one of the most dynamic and entertaining styles in the game.
He deffo is. Strikers man always more entertaining
For the casual fans that still dream of boxing.
Conor of old, who had the wide stance and threw 60% of his strikes as kicks was. After he blew his knee against Holloway he started to deteriorate his dynamic movement
He was definitely fun to watch in his prime. Time catches us all.
Agreed. It appears that boxing stance he had his last fight has gone. Thank God. He was so stiff and didn't have the chin for it. That's where alot of MMA guys screw themselves. They start training for boxing and forget their roots. His Bruce Lee style is back.
At 1:15 the spinning wheel kick [in my opinion] is not intended for style points but rather to prevent his sparring partner to circle out and away. Early in his career he was a wizard at gluing his opponts into the cage with spinning kicks to keep them stationary in front of him 🤔
absolutely agree idk wtf "style points" have to do with fighting some shit just shouldn't be said
@@ZerikLaps I get the mentioning of it- some commentators use that phrase for strikes that visually look nice (crane kicks, etc) so I'm not disparaging towards the youtube creator for it, just analyzing why he likely threw it
Bro walked into a fucking boss fight
People act like he’s washed but he’s actually still so good
Trust I’ve been saying this for the longest he’s got skill just needs better ground game and he’s been beat by some top tier people
Conor always does all that. Lack of talent has never been his problem. Sparring isn't fighting though, especially if you want to keep your job as a sparring partner.
I mean he is sparring Brendan Loughnane though, that guy is no joke. 28-5 overall and 10-2 in the PFL. He just won by TKO last night.
This isnt loughnane. @@Fightconnoisseur96
Mindsmash sees a fighter pop a jab
- Al gaib!
he fights a lot like bruce lee
100
That's because he studied him so much. He was obsessed with lee and jeet kune do when he was younger. Only highly successful UFC fighter other than anderson silva to credit jeet kune as his style as far as i know
Bruce Lee didn't fight lol
@@nobodyharder6575 I actually believed Bruce Lee did compete, at least once or twice. I recall seeing a film of it
@@dallasbagley you're probably recalling the demonstration of his technique he was displaying, if i remember correctly. He fought, but never professionally
his foot was a balloouuuon
Khabib Vs McGregor 2 needs to happen just for the sales itself
Kebib has said multiple times that he no longer wants to fight
He is sparring people who are terrified of him. Nervous cuz they fighting Conor McGregor and also scared of the bombs he lands.
Top tier analysis my bro
Insane skill, he is the reason most of us do or watch mma nowadays. He is the Bruce Lee of this Era
I love this satirical take on how analysts add so much filler to seem like intellectuals😂
It's not satire
Yeah this isn't satire, bud.
This how all his content sounds.
everything slowed down can be mystical.

his style is a combination of trash talk and talent but this is not working anymore against new fighters tbh
“This is what happened, when you change your team, leave the sparring partners who made you a champion and sparring with little kids, far away from reality,” Nurmagomedov (29-0) tweeted.
He’s never left the team he started with…
@@joecavaiani7800 Khabib didnt say he left his team, he said he changed his team (training partners).
@@kaashifkhan5346you realize you are trying to trick native English speakers with sophistry? Lol not gonna work kaashif
@@kaashifkhan5346 Who did he replace oher than Artem? You dont know what your talking about, just repeating what another man said in a press conference.
Is that you khabib
He was the best boxer in the UFC and very possibly the best striker.
I missed the old MindSmash. 💪❤
Cardio
A lot of this is common in traditional styles. The truth is that people are trying to follow a recipe of sucess that worked once and ignoring a lot of valuable techniques, a good example is the upward elbow anderson silva copied from Ong Bak.
It's his "Lanky Bone-Density". Got to be.!!!
1:46 "he is just levels above his sparing partner"
Ofcourse because he always fights nobodies. You never see him spar another UFC fighter
I wonder if he still has it in a real fight.
Every Shot he threw if they where full Power would have been Ko Shots he was holding back it was a light Sparring for sure..
style points? had he directed that wheel kick to the body it would've had a whole different effect on this sparring session. this is where maybe you can see the effects of partying on fighting iq rather than technique. because clearly he can still do his thing, but it's gonna take time for the brain to get back to the "chess" part of combat.
Yoo whassup with your other personality hows that and if he still there can you let him out in a video like those back then when you posted
🐐
Had. Once upon a time.
Say what you wish when you don’t wish, but he is and always will be Bruce Lee’s golf caddy.
There is 0 telegraph on thag left hand it is the single best back hand in the game
The game of UFC where no one knows how to box? 😂😂
@@DABA2024 They all hit your moms box, that's all the boxing they do over there

Titanium shin bone :D
He’s Bruce Lee’s principle’s down !
But... This is exactly how he got destroyed with leg kicks :/
You never see him spar or train with UFC champ material, similar trajectory to Rousey, stayed with original team, never moved on for greener pastures to train with other hungry elite level fighters. Most fighters who plateau'd move on to other gyms or do half their camp with a grade A gym. Look at former champs like GSP he knew he had to diversify his training, hell look at Micheal Bisping, when he left the UK he got so much better training with better trainers and fighters in the U.S. It is too late now but just imagine Connor trained with elite coaches rather than his friends and trainers from his early career. He survived on talent but declined ever since he took up boxing, got rich and surrounded by 'Yes men'. He left behind his fast counter karate like style and went down hill, ground game never evolved. Like Rousey he has survived on a one dimensional front, for him it is his left hand IF he lands.
Titanium shin bone Conor McGregor
One win since 2016....
Chandler has to be easy for him.
Over analyzing, your right his way above his sparring parter. He shouldn't and all he gots, is the same o left. Nothing else
It seems to me that Conor often does sparring with people that does not hit him...I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but it happen in a lot of his sparring videos.
He spars low level regular guys to practice his technique and build confidence, plus, let's be honest, to inflate his ego and make sure he doesn't have to train any harder than he feels like.
Conor is undisputedly a combat warrior genius.
Could you not grapple at all with those gloves would stop eye pokes
Every time I see Conor spar I see someone that's going to lose a fight. Hes clearing trying his best against people who are not allowed to fight back and still looks like he's struggling. And if they were allowed to fight back as best they could, they're probably crap fighters anyway. I mean 1:22 this is the same knee he done in Poirier 3 at 3:35 the difference is Poirier punched him in the face 3 times after then took him down. But in this sparring its some wonderful skillful attack just because his sparring partner does nothing. And his punching power looks worse than ever 1:43 look at that weak impact he has no chance against any decent ufc fighter punching like that.
1. That knee didn't land cleanly or with any real impact against Poirier, had it connected in the solar plexus as it did here in the sparring, that would obviously have been different.
2. He is obviously not throwing strikes with full power, because it's a flow sparring sessions.
Except that planted lead leg is going to get kicked into oblivion. He keeps thinking he is in a boxing match.
Hes sparring bums to look good.
Meanwhile Strickland is sparring alex pereira, dominik reyes, and kamaru usman
Strickland is sparring influencers, bud. He isn't sparring any of those guys you named lol.
@@Fightconnoisseur96 also , but that doesnt mean anything, its just for fun.
Sean strickland does hard sparring with anyone even from upper divisions.
Its not that Connor is incredible he is, but maybe his sparing partner sucks.
Bro he’s sparring a bum 😂
Titanium Shinbone!
*Ironman noises*
It is sooo easy to look good, when your sparring partner is bad.
Sparring cans like he always does.
Isnt sparring just to get better working towards the lead up for the big fight the PAY CHECK FIGHT
Lol its just sparring calm down girl/guy
He done well to be the first ever consecutive 2 weight world champ while sparring cans only 🤡
@@mc94. Won the belt and then immediately after got choked out by Nate Diaz 😂
What's the cans name? No idea...?
@@unknownentity8256then came back and beat him.
Oh please…the only “incredible talent” mcgregor has is running his mouth….just go back and watch his 2 fights with Diaz, or his last 2 fights with Dustin…or khabib….he was always overrated as a fighter, and Dustin exposed his chin. And he never had a clue on the ground. Now that he’s moving up in weight class, he will lose the punching power advantage he had in the lower weight classes. He’s never going to win another belt, he may never win another fight in the UFC. However, his promotional skills remain unrivaled, which is why Dana kisses his ass. As he said to Khabib during their fight, “it’s only business “.
He spars with people way beyond a low level 🤣🤣😂 correct term because when it comes to real men he losses look at Dustin beat him khabib and now I predict micheal chandler will snap him in half and will be the 1st man to knock him out
Absolute BS
Chandler will knock him out in the first round
Connor should just retire to many superstars in the divisions he wants to fight he will get retired in his first fight back if he ever comes back. His levels above are no longer on par with the ufc elites like Michael Chandler.
Bottom Spar?
Wish this guy would get serious and make a comeback
😂😂😂 is this satire ?
There's a saying in the fight game, " You are only as good as your last fight"
Connor sucks!
Incredible talent but bad character

It’s titanium now post Dustin break
