Having the Pokémon remakes (BDSP) made by a different team was something I felt was a good idea, thus allowing Game Freak more of a break... then they release two games within the same year.
0:13 - Given this was how it was with Sword and Shield, I think this model was expected to unfortunately repeat. It seems Scarlet and Violet did have more content in it's base game though... at the cost of being even buggier.
0:39 - Love the twists you gave this compared to the office meme basis, with some neat music choices (matching the camera shots well with it) and having the electrocuting Pikachu instead of the launched through the window punchline.
At this point, I just hope they slow down their schedules before making a Gen 5 remake 😭
Thanks for noticing what I did in the ending! It took me a good while to figure out how to avoid the window thing 🤪
@@effyiffy Agreed, even if they were to have another company make the remake, it's also nice to give fans a bit of breathing room between games. Too many games back-to-back can cause burnout, regardless of quality (I actually needed to take a break with Alpha Sapphire as a result, despite enjoying the game).

"Oh boy I sure do love having to spend 100€ for a game with outdated graphic, performance issues and plenty of towns with absolutely nothing to do beside the gym challenge. Yeah I can't enjoy the battle frontier but thanksfully I can conpensate by spending 20 more € to have access to crazy features like trading pokémons and fighting other players. Yup this (absolutely not rushed) game is definitely worth the price of 2 Switch games."
Many games series exist and I had to be a Pokémon fan :(
In the old games everything that these expansions add would've been in the game from the very begginning.
And what makes me mad is that they don't even lower the prices after some time!! Pokemon Sword/Shield was released in 2019 and they still charge $60 + $30 for the DLCs (yep they are slowly rising DLC prices overtime)...
