With all the hype around of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, we have access to the preview build before the release on August 18th. Over the next 18 days until release We will break down every part of Microsoft Flight Simulator and discuss what features you all want to know.
Thanks for the time your taking to make content. Top lad.
Hey bud, is the NDA lifted? Or does Microsoft have to give us special permission to upload them on CZcams? I'm in Beta but not sure and don't want to break the rules. Thanks in advance. ❤️❤️❤️
Must be nice to have early access. I’ve been signed up since the beginning. For alpha and beta. Nada. Seems they only give access to it to people that are on CZcams.
Mark Emery I’ve been in since TA1. CZcams guys like Aus and many who attended Renton or granted the right to produce these videos without watermarks to help promote the upcoming release. We testers were pretty much just here to Load test the multiplayer and system demands during the development phase. You’re not missing much. It has been a wild ride but not your typical beta test team.
@@FlightSim2024 Dont break your NDA if you haven't got permission. :)
“A mile of road, will take you a mile. A mile of runway, will take you anywhere.”
Poor 747
Love it!!!
Lol
Sempy actually you only need a launchpad that probably less than 50m in diameter.
A mile of runway will take you to court, and eventually to an airport closure, as cities close airports one by one because "those rich people over there don't need to be flying airplanes around us". Hey simmers. Join the fight to keep our airports. Check out your local airport. Chances are (unfortunately) good that if you are in a medium to large size city, there is a group trying to close it.
@Sempy That's what Virgin Galactic is doing, so yes.
I would like to see a manual A320 Startup.
I want to see that too!
Think V1 sims will do a quality guide pretty quickly. He’s already put up designated differences between Boeing / airbus.
@@Gery277 Hey Gery! Nederlandse vliegtuig liefhebber. Leuk om een landgenoot te zien hier.
Same mate.would love to see that
It is so easy. Only Read a Manual Engine Start Procedure in FCOM
Loving these basics tutorials, and it really takes me back to when I was real world flying. You are the best flightsim CZcamsr, and I look forward to the next video.
Glad you like them Shaun, another update video in a few hours!!!
Love you're content. I haven't flown a sim in over 20 years but still gamed. I saw Microsoft Flight sim 2020 and had to get. Love this series you are doing.
I Love these videos! Nice work! Makes me feel familiar with the sim already before I get my hands on it in 2 weeks and 3 days but who's counting!?!?! Can't wait!
WOW! The virtual environment is breathtaking! I love the fact the P-Factor is simulated. I can't wait to see how more complex aircraft are simulated.
Amazing work Shane. Great content. Enjoyed watching.
Much appreciated!
I've been waiting for this vid 🤣 Thanks you for uploading 👍👍👍👍🙌
Hope you enjoyed it! More content to come!!!
I like that when you look right and left during the landing that the landscape and buildings is still there and doesn't keep popping into view just because you're now looking in that direction.
I really love tour channel, thanks for keeping us up to date. It has just been my 15th birthday so I'll save up for a new computer so I can play it on ultra settings😁
Happy birthday!
@@AusFlightSimmer thank you!!
That landing was butter! Nice job man, and great video. Sub'd
Thanks and welcome
very well explained, a good simple tutorial for any aviator or beginner...nice done Shane
Thank you Omari.
You deserve a new sub man!
Quality content😁
Welcome aboard!
You definitely buttered that landing mate. Well done.
Please go around Auckland NZ or Queenstown! :)
Man... this looks amazing. Can't wait for it to come out.
So cool. Amazing. All this makes it so much more exciting
How beautiful I can't stop watching this..
First video I've watched of yours, great info and I love that you reply to people's comments, you seem like a cool guy, you got a sub from me :)
I appreciate that! Gavin, I try to get to as many as I can. Welcome.
i’m in isolation lockdown for another 11 days. please keep the clips coming!
No problem.
Sedona is such a clever airport to choose when learning to fly in the sim. The plateau is so visible when flying VFR! Can't wait for more content AUS :-)
Couldn't agree more!
The airport beacon is also visible...during the day...in vmc.
God this fame looks gorgeous, and nice videos btw
Yeah thanks
I cant wait for the release
Looks nice and I am glad there are tutorials. I'm excited that they will support VR when the HP Reverb G2 releases, so I've heard. I am thinking of preordering it because it sounds like a really good VR headset and it features 4K resolution, better than almost all other headsets. Also, I have to say that getting up to speed on learning all of the controls is quite a time sink.
Thank you for the preview. It was very nice to see in my trainer. The instrument panel seemed darker than in a real 152 and side windows very small. I usually do a clearing turn before takeoff just to see any traffic. You can't see anything out those tiny windows the showed.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really looking forward to this
Thanks!!!
Great video! I preordered thr premium deluxe version and cannot wait to get into this myself!
Seb, its amazing!!!
Preordered premium deluxe edition, looking forward to doing this myself 😄😄
Nice one Elliot, you will love it.
You'll have a grand time! It's so impressive :-)
Aus Flight Simmer omg you actually replied. 😄😄 im sure I will
FlightLoc im counting every second until the release. Well not actually but you know what I mean 😆😆
@@captainelliot8767 Definitely! Only 19 days left!
Great landing captain!!! Please next time fly around Johannesburg South Africa
Reminds me of Rod Machado and the Kings FSX tutorials. Great video, thanks.
Finally someone who knows how to land a plane. You could've flared a little longer, but that was quite good!
I rushed the landing. Actually did the same in my flight test this week. Come to think of it.
Aus Flight Simmer hey. When I see the landings people show on CZcams. Why are the airliners so stiff?
Unlike the instructor, who told him to flare 50 feet above and 200 feet before the runway.
NaiveBeast The instructor told him to fly the approach with idle thrust. That's the same how my instructor taught me to fly the approach IRL. You can do that with a small aircraft. The benefit is, that no matter what, you will always make it to the airfield.
NaiveBeast 4 white all the way, then a rapid descent to make it 4 red for the landing. ‘Someone who knows how to land’ 😂.
No offense to the uploaded.. love the videos and it’s just a game after all
Loving the channel. How many Australian airports will there be? Looking forward to airport hopping around the country.
That was awesome. Reminded me of my PPL days.
Great video aus!
Will you be livestreming one of these episodes or maybe once, or maybe a flight once the lessons are completed?
Beautiful view from the sky❤
Great stuff mate. Love it
Glad you enjoyed it
That brings back memories!
Very curious about this. I remember hopping into a payware XP11 c152 and doing a closed circuit around my real life home airport that I train in a c152 out of, and it was dead nuts accurate, feel and all. If the flight model in FS2020 can match the graphics, I can see spending A LOT of time in this sim.
Please please stop making this so much fun! :)
Wow, amazing detail, best I've seen so far. May I ask is this set to 4K, 1440p or 1080p? How can you get such a good frame rate with this level of detail, I've seen videos with a 8 core Ryzen and a RTX 2070 super(1440p) getting 15 fps. Is the GTX 1080 better for MSFS? Thanks!
Great video definitely looked like it took a decent amount of rudder on take off!
I can’t wait to actually fly proper VFR on a sim.
Yep, you need your feet on the pedals.
This made my day
8:51 Lowkey roasted you there since she had to say “that line” rather than great landing
Any landing you don't have to swim from... ;)
Rainbow Dash That’s right 😂
It is in fsx too
Omg I cant wait until this relewses. I'm sooo excited
Releases *
Its amazing.
This flighsim 2020 is amazing. It looks like real world footage. Gee whizz. I will need to buy or build and brand new PC. Can't wait.
Nicely done.
Dude, that was a great landing.
YESS!!! I can't wait to do lessons!
Thank you for this great video. What levels of AA and AF are you using. Asking, because there is a lot of shimmering and flickering going on.
I preordered from bestbuy im so happy cant wait
Love ur channel man
Thank you Nick, appreciate the support.
@@AusFlightSimmer No thank you!
I love how she says that he is on the glide slope, meanwhile, at that point you would execute a missed approach because he was WAY above the glide slope as shown by the PAPI's LOL
I had to check the comments to make sure i wasn't the only one to notice that lol
don't really need to go around for this one just decent faster because he didn't get to the minimums yet
"You are a little low"
Has 4 white lights
Papis aren’t meant for GA aircraft lol it’s meant for large planes that have less control and need time to adjust. There’s things you can do in a ga to drop altitude quickly. I was taught it’s better to come a little high and adjust than to come in too low and drag out an approach with engine power.
@@FleetTech97 They are used by all aircraft from a Cessna to an A380. They are used in non precision approach environments so in that case, They would be used. The Cessna also doesn't have a glide slope indicator so it relies on the papi's for it's glide slope info.
great video as always. One question, is 1440 resolution a good compromise to the much demanding 4k hug fps??? stay safe
1440 is fine.
Is that Sedona? Dang! it is! In real life, it is really challenging landing at Sedona. The winds rising due to the slope makes every landing interesting. If you try to land on 21 rather than 3, it will be rough and the mount that pops out near the end of 21 causes pilots to come steep approach to prevent hitting the hilltop. Very interesting approach. "Sedona Traffic be advised PAPI's unusable beyond two nautical miles.".
amazing again like always, can you use an xbox controller on PC and will you be doing a giveaway possibly when it comes out on xbox? keep it up aswell cant wait to see your first flight
George, will have a video out about Xbox controllers as part of the 18 days of content.
@@AusFlightSimmer amazing thanks
lovely update :) !!!!!
Thanks! 😊
Hey, thanks for you video ! Just a question, what are you graphic settings ?
The hype is real!
For sure, its amazing!!!
"You`re overcontrolling, use less pressure on the stick."
Great video. There was one error during the landing instruction. The aiming point is not the threshold. It's the two solid marks, which are to be kept in the virtual center of the two ends of the runway, when on final. You're also actually supposed to be looking at the far end of the runway during landing. But, close enough. Thanks for the video. :)
I hope i can buy this one game I'm been waiting for a long time 😍
Also can you do a video on different graphics setting in the game 🙏💕
In Chuck Yeager's Air Combat, the Phantom got so familiar I could go in totally hot towards the runway and do a last-second stall manuever to land. I've always wondered if that would be possible in the real jet.
3 quick questions:
1. Will it support multiple monitor setups like the 3 monitor @ 90 degree rigs?
2. Will it support Foreflight?
3. Have they modeled ground-effect?
Good video. Do a video commenting your thoughts on aerodynamics realism, I'm very curious.
WHAT A FLARE! gj
Can you please compare the hand crafted airports on the different graphics settings? I really love your content, keep it up!!!
Will do soon
@@AusFlightSimmer thank you!!!
I can't wait to get my hands on this game.... Wow...
Its amazing!!!!
When Bosnia And Herzegovina is added, please visit it! It has amazing mountains, the biggest pyramid in the world which is very not known, I reccomend checking out Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla and more! Thanks!
So you had 4 whites all the way down to touchdown on the PAPI. You want two reds on the right and two whites on the left to be on glideslope. That's what the PAPI is there for, you make your landings easy. Its the visual equivalent of a ILS or GPS glideslope.
Please go and check out St. Maarten!! I'm dying to see what it looks like in the new sim!!
I used MSFS since FS4 version but the hardware needed to run this version at a reasonable framerate is just too expensive for me but it looks beautiful!
Can we just stop and appreciate how amazing everything looks O____O
Very amazing. New machine is coming soon 🤚. How many FPS was for you?
Never checked, as it just runs real smooth!!!!
More training lessons, pls. Thx!
Dude nice graphics and smooth running on a 1080 gtx?
Hi. On which graphic settings do u run the sim? What's the fps? How's the cpu am gpu usage?
Where does it tell you what your knots/current speed/elevation etc are? I haven't got the game, but am tempted. Ps, would it be possible to make videos explaing how to prepare, start ALL planes in great detail? As that's what's making me hmm and ahh about buying it
This is great....really appreciated. Can you dive into the menu and controls a bit? I’d love to see the basics of the view system. How to change views and create presets. Thanks!
Yes I can, that will be part of the 18 days of content.
I use to be a casual in FSX. I would just do IFR to learn about the systems. VFR was never something I was interested in FSX because my graphics capability would not allow it. I can say for FS2020, my main interest will be VFR because damn those graphics! I'll be building a new PC just for this. Cant Wait...
I don't think I've ever seen a real Cessna 152 that clean and tidy!
Soooo impressive😘
Cortana from Halo is a voice in FS2020.
This just keeps getting better.
Hey Aus, Just a heads up when landing, you wanna use those 4 lights to the side of the runway. You came in a little too steep which is why your flare seemed to be a lot. You want 2 reds 2 whites when flying down the glideslope.
The problem is, it starts you way above the glide-slope, and you are chasing it the whole way down.
@@AusFlightSimmer #Dive-Dive-Dive!!!! jk jk Yea i dont have beta so i wasn't sure.
Can you make a video about playing microsoft 2020 on controller? ( how it works on controller )
Sure will.
Such kind of (in-game) tutorials just add so much more fun to flight simulators, especially for new simmers! Wish I had something like this in X-Plane when I started...
Yeah, they did a decent job with this.
I would really like to see the physics. I would also like to see a cessna stalling, and would like to see you stall into a roll (Spin). Thankyou! (Note: full stall and spinning stall would be great to see! Maybe a superstall?) (Note 2: the stalls would be nice to see, but my request is to see the physics in general.) Edit: corrected a mistake in my writing
Noted!
@@AusFlightSimmer Thanks, sir! ^^
Aus Flight Simmer i would love a spin video!
@Claymen TV What the heck is a "superstall" supposed to be? I've got a pilot's license and have never once heard of such a maneuver...
@@syntactyx . Maybe a deep stall as with MD 80 or Trident? Or a high speed stall?
I would like to see Tahiti & Bora Bora, to see how FS2020 handles tropical areas and lagoon waters.
Thank you for nice upload. My question is can you make video of boeing tutorial? Thank you
"we're past the threshold" *not even over perimeter fence*
🤣🤣🤣
That voice of the virtual instructor sounds like the same voice personality found in tutorials of Elite: Dangerous.
Finally!
More to come!!!!
When you taxi onto the runway use the whole runway you may need it if the engine quits. Don’t just follow the yellow line out to the numbers you waste a couple hundred feet.
That’s great advice!
Whats your settings? I have pretty similar specs and im struggling in certain areas (running ultra which probably isnt smart for day to day gameplay xd)
It's nice to see the parked planes practicing social distancing!
Can you please do a flight/landing in the Maldives?
3l mejor simulador de la historia sin duda
Hello, thanks for your clear information about fs2020. I Like to flight in vfr mode and i thanks fs2020 is the response about my wishes. Could you tell me how is the extended view on 3 monitors ? Is it stretched like on fsx or p3d ?
Thanks for your response.
Can you show us what the Caribbean looks like? Places like Barbados, Grenada and the Grenadine Islands?
You would think this release would be a little more advanced as far as procedures. Rod Machado in X was more in depth. You should have to configure for landing, such as; turn on carb heat, fuel pump, landing lights, etc., etc., etc. There should be a checklist...If they're going for reality???
