Wow, very nice!! We've never seen the Ahara in person. A double sink in the bath is usually a deal breaker for us because they never seem to give enough counter space, but this one is an exception for sure! You're right, love that bath better than Brinkley's bath! It's always so hard to pick a new RV because they all offer so many cool things! Congrats!! Love your channel, y'all seem like down to earth people we can relate with.
thank you for the comment. we spent a lot of time researching. We built a spreadsheet with wants and likes. It took us close to 6 months to see everything. We looked at multiple dealers, and looked at the same RVs multiple times. We also knew that we wanted a very good dealer. We really love this rig, and will probably keep it for a long time. It may not be the best for everyone, but its perfect for us. We try and post our plans on our facebook group, we love meeting friends on the road. We have met some of our dearest friends on the road.
I absolutely love your new home, it's gorgeous. All the windows are fabulous. That's a must for us too.

We were hoping y'all were going with the Ahara, we still love our 22 and what we liked was exactly what Maria said when walk in it's bright and airy, plus all the lights every where you there is a light, congrats and hope to see you again in the near future.

Hey guys Congratulations this is gorgeous love all the windows that would be huge for us and that bathroom we are all about a big bathroom! We are not full time yet but I must say we have a washer/ dryer combo and we love it!! Didn't realize how much we would but oh my its awesome! We went with a class A pulling a Jeep but if we were to get a fifth wheel I think this would be it! I must say though one thing we have noticed with the A compared to some of these is we love all our space under it for all of our outdoor stuff we have a ton of storage outside which is fantastic! Fifth will is so tempting but then the rabbit hole we would have to get a big truck so oh my! But who knows we only had our forest river trailer for 3 years then had to go to Class A and we started saying we would never do that so lesson never say never! Wow you picked a really nice one love all the storage , pantry and closet and drawer space very nice. Plenty of room for editing and you could even through a party!! Hope we see you on the road one day Just Ramblin Around!!
I we felt more comfortable towing, we would be in a class A. We love them, just scared to death of how big they seem. The 5th wheel comes with its own issues, mainly the massive truck and trying to back it into small camp spots. We try to avoid those, but stuff happens. So funny we had a 29 foot trailer we towed behind our truck. We had it for 3 years and we liked it but knew for our one day full time future it wasn't what we wanted for a long long time. We actually found the Class A much easier we park and set up within minutes compared to everyone else and that's one main reason. Truthfully when you measure the length especially if you tow a small jeep the length of the two is close but also we love to get into some places we just separate ahead of time. We are glad we have never regretted the change but if we have went back to towing it would be a fifth wheel for sure. It is always fun watching everyone's experiences. Maybe someday we will be able to sit by a campfire and swap stories!! Truly love how roomy your rig is very nice for full time life for sure!! Hope we see u on road or we work together!

I’m interested in seeing your upcoming video on the RV Mobile Power system. I just found out about the 2 of you on CZcams. Joined the group and catching up on your shows.
RVMP is ready to go. The problem is on our end. Its just not in the budget yet. We had to pay for the Ahara, then add in the thermostats, surge, softstarts, washer dryer combo (coming video) and other costs, it has about depleted what we can spend. We are excited about it though, and hope we can get it in this year. Thanks for finding us and watching.
We ordered that same one. Picked it up a couple of months ago. We also had a tandera, before. The pantry is nice as well.
I think its a natural progression. maybe we can get E2W to hold an owners rally sometime and all meet up.

we started with 7, we just kept finding them when we moved rigs. I think we are down to 5 now. Bandaids came in handy covering the motion lights under the bed.

We have owned 3 East to West RVs. None of them had any problems to speak of. We put over 30k miles on our 2022 Tandara 285RL. I have read some of your posts on facebook and realize you have had some issues. I think the main issue with your refrigerator is that it is missing the top brace. Ours had one on top of the unit that screwed into both side walls. Our new 2024 Ahara has the same thing. It sounds more like you have a bad dealer. I would reach out to E2W and have them assist. We would be happy to help make that happen.
The top bracket was there it was just not screwed tight to the backer board witch allowed the fridge to bust out of the bracket not to mention to wiring for the a/c in the bedroom was fraid and would not work on low speed and the hot water tank wiring was not even hook up i dont belive its the dealer its just not a well made unit just saying @@OurRoadLessTraveled
Another question: Have you or any of your friends encountered "Frame Flex" with any of your fifth wheels, and what were the consequences?
Yes, we are friends with more than a few that have had this issue. And know of many more. A couple of them have gotten it fixed it held. A few had issues after the fix. Others are still waiting/fighting to get them fixed.
i am about to buy a new truck to haul a fifth wheel and was how you determined the chose you made on you truck
I looked a the GVWR on the 5th wheel and took 20% of that number. Then I made sure my truck had at least that much payload. Trucks run out of payload way before they run out of the ability to tow something.
I have a question you may have already answered, but how much does it add to the weight of thhe rig once you have all your posessions and supplies (water, batteries etc.) installed, and what are the recommended ratings for your new one?
Great question. we are right about 13,200 with a dry weight of 12,340. So we have added about 1k in weight. water is about 8lbs per gallon and we have a 65 gallon tank. propane is 30lbs per side. The washer dryer added another 200 lbs. The max our rig can weigh is 16,273. The Ahara 365RL has a total cargo capacity of 3,928, so we are barely at 1/4 of its capability.
What did you end up paying for this?
after trade and everything, about 40k
