    I own one of these and it is hands down the best guitars I have played

    I love the sound, the tone and the phrasing with a taste of neapolitan flavor. And, yes, this is the jazz tone but I have the same guitar and I assure you can achieve also excellent bright, crunch and distorted tone for all genres of music.

      I'm a person who's only played acoustic guitars, and I love to play fingerstyle on those 16 inch fretboards. I saw that this is one of those rare electric guitars with an almost 14 inch fretboard. What's your opinion on that fretboard radius? Gibsons all use a 12 inch fretboard, and everybody seems to love those.

      @@TheSilence1 this fretboard is very comfortable for me. Also consider that I don't use bendings frequently.

    Great playing and technique! One critique if I may (I really don't mean this as an insult, just from a listener's/buyers perspective): The tone knob is turned down just a bit too far, I know this is quite a popular tone to look for but it would be nice to hear all of the overtones that the guitar is capable of producing. But amazing playing and phrasing so I really don't mean to insult and I hope I wasn't disrespectful towards the player.

    Just got one as a newbie along with a Hughes and Kettner Grandmeister Deluxe 40. I'm Into blues and rock. Looking forward to spending time with my brown sunburst :)

    I’ve occasionally imagined owning this model. Never tried to go through with it though.

    Hi, I would like to know what adjustment the guitar tone controls have. Congratulations to the interpreter and his tone. Thank you

    Beautiful playing but slightly muffled, even by jazz neck pickup playing. Reminds me of my old pal, joe pass.

    Yamaha SA2200 or D'Angelico Deluxe DC? This is the question....

    • @keesketsers5866
      @keesketsers5866 Před 4 lety +2

      No question, sa2200 is Japanese made and the d'angelico is Korean. The sa2200 is in another league. I'm not that impressed by the d'angelico guitars....just a generic made in Korea guitar with an expensive name on top.

    • @joeymorse365
      @joeymorse365 Před 4 lety +2

      go Yamaha. From what i've gathered the D'Angelicos are showy and may be tempting to buy, but they can't produce a tone as good as the sa2200

    • @Shred_The_Weapon
      @Shred_The_Weapon Před 4 lety +1

      It’s pretty crazy during the 90s when I first learned to play, “made in Japan“ came with a red flag. Now, the red flag is flying over products made in China or Korea.

    Hilarious! Why do jazz guitarists so often go for crap tone? "Sorry for being here...I'll turn it down even more...". This "tone" can only be described as emasculated. It's got nothing going for it, but is nevertheless very prevalent amongst the jazz guitarist crowd. Perhaps they could listen to some Django Reinhardt or Jeff Beck. Real tone. Not this pseudo-jazz waffle.

      Yes I was watching this demo thinking, 'This is how not to sell it to the majority of people who want a versatile instrument'!! Yes it is that old school jazz tone, but at least demo some other tones with some treble!

      @@TheStrataminor (and others....) We are NOT a shop. We don't sell anything to anyone. If you want to "buy" maybe there are many youtube channels by real shops whose only interest is to sell you something. It is not our goal. We are a big community for musicians, so, we play music. In this case we play jazz, with a jazz musician. yes, maybe some steps with more treble on could be complementary. But, certainly not to sell something to you. If you want really have a real experience with a guitar, we heartily recommend that you go to a store to try it with your hands. ;)

      CZcams is full to the brim with rockers. This guy can properly play. He’s a MUSICIAN not a poseur. Go back to your ‘What’s happening dudes’ idiot sales pitch reviews by dope three chord morons.
      You wouldn’t know a good tone if it slapped you in the face.

      @sergioalarcon3300 Před 3 lety

      Dude I agree You will never be able to play such a "crap tone". I bet you know nothing about Django or Jeff Beck anyways.
