A fantastic recording by a classic vocal group. Those distinctive vocals are spine tingling. Little Anthony never achieved Top 30 chart success in the UK. He did manage a minor hit in 1976 when a rerelease of Better Use Your Head broke the UK Top 50 as a result of its popularity on the UKs Northern Soul rare Dance scene. The Imperials without Anthony did manage a Top 20 UK hit in 1977 with their disco track Who's Gonna Love You

Wow. Folks complaining about camerawork from 1965. Look I get that the Imperials were short changed camera wise but ain't nothing we can do about it. No time machine available to go back to 1965 and tell Dick Clark how to school his camera guys. There are other clips from that period on You Tube showing the whole group including Shindig, Hullabaloo and Ed Sullivan.
Magical. Way before my era 1980. But I love oldies since 1996.

I remember reading The Book Version of Grease and Danny Zuko and Sonny LaTierri nicknamed Anthony The Son Of The Owner Ernie who owned The Frosty Palace Little Anthony. Also in 1985 at the American Bandstand 33 1/3 Show Dick Clark quipped about how Anthony is Married, A Father, Grandfather and probably now a Great Grandfather and still after all of these years he still introduces him as "Little Anthony".
