Next followed the MK2 Escort RS2000 Custom in Black with matching black interior. If only I could turn the clock back I should never have sold it. What a special car they are.
My childhood were from this car. My dad had driven the 1600 sport MK2 in black with a thin yellow lining at both sides. I remembered it looked like the MCD driven by Ari Vatanen. Well sadly, after my dad gave it to my uncle, it hasn't been driven for a long time untill I heard a news from my dad that it went on a restore in a workshop which is quite expensive and it were being sold to the mechanic who made the restore. Poor guy. How I wished that I have a chance seeing that same car which had rocked my childhood, again. 😔

I sold ny GENUINE '73 mk1 mexico in '88 for almost nothing, the guy who bought it only needed the gearbox for his lotus super seven,i think....wonder how much it would be worth now...
