Before G Mclellans head started to play up he was bettering Nigel Benn. The other controversy is G Mclellean also rumoured to be a steriod user as well as the rumours on Benn. Due to medical grounds it should have been a spopage of the bout.

Think your right Joe. Brutal brutal fight!! I think it was the best choice Nigel made was to turn to God. I really think he was on a path to destruction with the company he kept and the issues he had!! I think he was out of control and thank goodness he turned to God or I think he would eventually end up doing serious bird or dead. I have spoken with him years ago and he come across a nice lad wasn't big headed in fact very humble man. The trouble is as with company you keep can cause you to get carried away ending with life changing consequences consequences

Nigel ben cheated ducking below the waist line and constant rabbit punches round 9 was the worst. The ref was on some pay role i think cheating ben should of been disqualified
